Srikanth Adddala’s Peddha Kaapu 1 has managed to evoke some interest and positive buzz from the beginning. Thankfully for the team, the trailer clicked well and with this confidence in content, the team has screened premiers in Hyderabad where it received positive feedback from everyone. Because of Premiere’s success and positive buzz for the film, everyone thought Peddha Kaapu 1 would be a box office sensation and the movie would do very good business.
The worldwide rights were sold at Rs 12.5Cr and when the movie was released, it all backfired. The audience did not show any interest in watching the film and the response of the audience who have watched the film was also pretty bad. Due to these mostly mixed reviews and poor word of mouth, Peddha Kaapu 1 collected less than Rs 30L on opening day and gave a big shock to trade and buyers. The movie is projected to be a heavy loss venture.

The film also featured Rao Ramesh, Aadukalam Naren, Tanikella Bharani, Naga Babu, Brigada Saga, Rajeev Kanakala, Anasuya, Eeshwari Rao, and Naren, among others. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy produced the film under the Dwarka Creations banner.
