Breaking News – Devara Mints INR 50 Crores With Advance Sales!

The euphoria surrounding Jr. NTR’s Devara: Part One is hitting new peaks every day. Yesterday, the action drama became the third Telugu film, after Kalki: 2898 AD and RRR, to gross $ 2 million at US box office with advance bookings alone for Premiers, Overseas bookings for opening day Surpasses 3 Million Mark.

The advance bookings opened today in the Telugu states and other territories. Slowly, more shows and theaters are being listed. Everywhere, it is receiving a sensational response. Hyderabad bookings have already crossed the 10 crore mark, and total bookings in the Telugu states have exceeded 20 crore, with many theaters still yet to open

Overall, the advance booking for the opening day has already reached the 50 crore mark. All the numbers are coming from the Telugu version. We need to see how the film will perform in other languages. The Telugu version alone is expected to open with more than 110 crore on the first day. The opening in other languages will determine its position among the all-time biggest openers in Indian cinema.

For those unaware, there has been a huge controversy surrounding the adulteration of the Tirupathi laddu Prasadam in Andhra Pradesh. Commenting on the same, multiple political leaders have reacted strongly lately.

Of course, the key political figures of the AP, such as Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, took a stand towards investigating the issue to bring out the culprits behind it. Amidst this, notable Tamil actor Karthi, who visited Hyderabad to promote his latest film, has refused to comment on the ongoing Laddu issue, calling it ‘sensitive’.

Clearly, the actor’s response has been really mature to not mix politics with cinema. However, the deputy chief minister of AP seems to have seversely misunderstood these acts of his. Addressing the media, the actor-turned-politician has criticized Karthi for making fun of Laddu Prasadam.

It’s crystal clear that Karthi didn’t have any intention to hurt the religious sentiments of people. Indeed, it is the anchor of the pre-release event who must be warned for bringing the topic of Laddu to the forefront. Prakash Raj requested the Actor to stop politicising the issue and refrain from communal actions. To this, Pawan Kalyan today responded saying that all must respect Sanathana Dharma and Hinduism. Finally, Prakash Raj again replied to this on his official X/Twitter Account. He assured a strong reply again going by his words to Pawan Kalyan.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life shoot wrapped up

Actor Kamal Haasan and Director Mani Ratnam both collaborated after 36 years for their upcoming film, Thug Life. The film also stars Simbu in a pivotal role alongside Trisha playing the female lead role. Thug Life shoot has been wrapped up today as announced by the team officially. A video was also released where the unit gathered and called it a wrap.

Some of the making shots were also revealed in the video and it showed big budget being used in the film. However, the release date of the film was not announced. The film became a big blockbuster after the release grossing nearly 30 crores worldwide. During the press meet, a reporter asked the producer about Dance Choreographer, Jani Master and the producer made irresponsible comments about the issue.

We all know that Jani Master was recently jailed for his alleged sexual assault on another female choreographer. Jani was instantly booked and was even suspended from dance association body of Tollywood. But it seems the Producer didn’t take it as a serious matter. He said that the issue of Jani Master was a personal one between Jani and the victim which felt very irresponsible. This issue was supposed to be related to the Film Industry and the Producer treating it as personal felt so stupid.

Tollywood Actor Pawan Kalyan also runs a political party Janasena. The Actor, at first promised of working for all people irrespective of religions and caste. But the Actor ultimately aligned with BJP which is popular for its Hindutva based politics. Now, Pawan Kalyan seems to be following the same path of BJP and doing full-time Hindutva politics.

The Actor cum politician is currently in a deeksha protesting the alleged mishandling of Laddu preparation in Tirumala temple of AP. The Actor had also bashed the former AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and blamed him indirectly for this as well. Now, surprisingly, the Actor has gone overboard by firing on both Tamil Actor Karthi and Prakash Raj for their recent comments about the incident. Pawan Kalyan opined that they had to respect Sanathana Dharma.

These actions of Pawan Kalyan have completely shocked everyone. No one imagined that Pawan Kalyan would be doing the Hindutva politics just like BJP. The Actor seems to have completely forgotten that he belongs to Janasena but not BJP. Such religious politics are completely unfortunate from his side. He once even boasted himself of giving priority to all religions and caste. But we couldn’t hear him praising other religions and castes now-a-days instead exhibiting Hindu rituals and traditions through ethnic wears.
