Jyothika and the team of Kanguva totally going wrong by missing the logic

0

Actress and wife of Actor Suriya, Jyothika recently came down heavily against people who she alleged for creating negativity around Suriya’s film, Kanguva. As we all know, Kanguva achieved a unanimous negative response on the opening day and heading towards a failure. This didn’t go well with Jyothika and also the team of Kanguva who have been alleging targeted negativity. But Jyothika and the team of Kanguva are going totally wrong missing the logic behind the underperformance of Kanguva. Let’s see why.

Jyothika or the team of Kanguva must understand that no one could bring a film down if it contains great output or content. Kanguva, which was projected as a Pan India biggie by the makers and especially the Producer, lacked this great content. This was the main reason for the disappointment felt by the audience who expected something big.

But the film had only a weak plot and narrow content which was unanimously felt by all kinds of audience. However, there were people who liked some portions in the film which happens for most of the films. But Kanguva had been visualised in a different way by the people with the boasting words of the Producer and Suriya as well. This resulted in a negative result badly.

So, Jyothika must understand what went wrong with Kanguva. Blaming audience or others as targeting a film purposefully wouldn’t make sense. As said, no one could bring a fine content driven film down. People would bring it down only if it secures a negative talk. She even quoted some scenes which she liked from the film but these scenes weren’t enough to generate an earth shattering response for Kanguva.

Actual reason for the Negativity:
And as she said, there was a targeted negativity but not on the content of Kanguva. The targeted negativity happened on both the Producer and Suriya who didn’t let the film speak by imagining big before the release itself. Even after questions being asked about this boasted talks, both the Producer and Suriya still replied the same way. It looked like as if they were prepared only for a 1000 crore grosser and not anything less than that.

All-Round Trouble for Ajith Fans

0

Ajith Kumar, one of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars with an unparalleled fan base, has often taken unconventional approaches in his career.

Unlike many contemporaries, Ajith has shown minimal interest in fan-satisfying promotional activities such as audio launches and public events. His unique style has been both celebrated and critiqued by his admirers.

Currently, Ajith is working on ‘Good Bad Ugly’ and ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ , two much-awaited films that are nearing completion. While Good Bad Ugly is set to release for Sankranti 2025, Vidaamuyarchi is expected to hit screens in summer 2025.

However, reports suggest that Ajith plans to take an extended break from cinema to focus on his passion for racing, which has left his fans disheartened.

Their concerns are heightened by Ajith’s choice to partner with director Siva on his next project. While Ajith and Siva have previously created hits, fans have long been dissatisfied with the director’s continued affiliation with the actor.

Many believe Siva’s films have influenced Ajith’s international market and return on investment (ROI). Their concerns have risen as a result of Siva’s recent disappointments with Annaatthe and Kanguva, both of which were critically and commercially unsuccessful.

At a time when expectations for Ajith’s career trajectory are high, fans believe this collaboration could be a risky move. With ‘Good Bad Ugly’ and ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ expected to deliver big, fans hope Ajith will consider more diverse and impactful projects in the future to maintain his legacy.

Jyotika Fires Back at Kanguva Critics

0

Actress Jyotika has strongly defended Kanguva, starring Suriya, in the wake of widespread criticism. The film, which opened to predominantly negative reviews and underwhelming box office numbers grossing approximately ₹68 crore in its first three days has faced backlash for its pacing and overall execution.

However, Jyotika, speaking as a “cinema lover” rather than Suriya’s wife, penned a heartfelt note addressing the situation. She acknowledged the flaws in the film, particularly the first 30 minutes and the jarring sound design.

Yet, she emphasized that imperfections are common in Indian cinema, especially in experimental big-budget films. Jyotika praised Kanguva as a “cinematic spectacle” and highlighted its innovative camera work and execution, calling it a first for Tamil cinema.

Criticizing the media and certain groups for their harsh reviews, she pointed out that films with regressive tropes and outdated narratives often escape such scrutiny. She questioned why Kanguva’s positives like its women-led action sequence and the emotional storyline were overshadowed by negativity.

Jyotika expressed disappointment over what she described as organized negativity targeting the film even before its first shows concluded. She called ‘Kanguva’ an ambitious effort deserving recognition for its groundbreaking visuals and bold concept. Her statement concluded with encouragement for the team to remain proud despite the criticism.

As debates over ‘Kanguva’ continue, Jyotika’s impassioned response highlights the challenges of balancing artistic ambition with audience expectations in Indian cinema.
