Not Prabhas or Climax – This Is the True Highlight of Kannappa

0

Ever since the arrival of Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa in theaters, there have been various discussions about the cameo of Prabhas. But to be honest, not Prabhas or Climax, but the Shiva Shiva Shankara song is the true highlight of Kannappa.

From audiences to critics, the unanimous opinion about the devotional film, which is also the dream project of Vishnu, is that the film’s first half does not have much content, and it picks up only in the second half.

The film finds its momentum with Prabhas’s entry, and from there on, it goes bigger and bigger. The screen presence and dialogues of Prabhas worked well, and the climax, the most crucial episode, comes on strong.

Manchu Vishnu surprises everyone with his performance near the end of the movie, while the veteran actor Mohan Babu, too, shows how big an actor he is. But as said above, Shiva Shiva Shankara Song is the true highlight of Kannappa.

Shiva Shiva Shankara Song turns the tables for Kannappa

The song comes at a crucial situation and emerges as the major plus point of the film. The music and lyrics sync perfectly.

Also, Vishnu shows his innocence, transformation, and love towards Shivayya so brilliantly. This song is very well choreographed and turns the film in a positive direction.

Kannappa Movie: A Critical Mistake

0

Manchu Vishnu’s 10 years of hard work have paid off with Kannappa releasing in theaters. While the film is getting the best numbers for the actor’s career, the team behind Kannappa Movie made a critical mistake.

Putting aside the criticism of the film’s 1st half, Manchu Vishnu’s performance in the final 30 minutes is absolutely his best. He lived as Kannappa.

Kannappa Team makes a Critial Mistake

But the director or team behind the Kannappa movie made a critical mistake by not telling the history of Vaayu Lingam. The movie revolves around Vaayu Lingam and the secrets surrounding it.

The legendary actor Mohan Babu portrays the character of Mahadeva Sastri, the protector of Vaayu Lingam. However, except for the initial buildup of his character, the film does not show anything about the precious Vaayu Lingam or its history.

Vishnu and director Mukesh Kumar Singh should have introduced the movie by explaining about the Pancha Bhootas and their essence and history along with brief details about Vaayu Lingam.

Manchu Vishnu’s much-awaited devotional film Kannappa, released in theaters yesterday. The film’s collections are good, and while it needs more to do, the makers of Kannappa declare it an industry hit.

The film, based on Bhakta Kannappa’s real story, received mixed WOM and an opening. On the opening day, it collected around 13 Cr gross, and the share will be near 6 Cr.
