Amaran set for 200 crore club

Amaran starring Siva Karthikeyan is on track into becoming a big blockbuster. The film opened with unanimous positive reports worldwide yesterday. It had a terrific opening yesterday of around 35 crores and today’s shows too started on a phenomenal note. Going by these figures, Amaran is all set to enter the 200 crore club undoubtedly.

Siva Karthikeyan will also see himself in the Tier 1 range category after the final run of Amaran. The trend too indicates that Amaran may even gross more than 100 crores in Tamil Nadu alone. In Telugu States, shockingly, the film is holding very well right from the opening day and 25 crore gross is also expected in the full run from here.

Overseas market opened with a double digit gross and Amaran will establish a 50 crore gross figure in the full run. The film is also very strong in Karnataka and Kerala surprisingly. All the four films checked their fate at the box office as well. The box office report of Telugu States Diwali films is stated below:

Lucky Baskhar starring Dulquer Salmaan opened with very good reports and had excellent occupancies from the premieres but for the opening day, the film had an above average-okayish start at the box office. The film is also the highest pre-bizz sold release by a big margin for this Diwali. This margin was not seen in terms of box office numbers on the opening day.

Amaran starring Siva Karthikeyan opened with a good word of mouth as well and also pulled off a sensational start at the box office. It even showed pure dominance in the Telugu market competing with Lucky Baskhar and KA. A huge opening is expected which may shock the trade in a big way. Expect the number to be around 35 crores worldwide on for the opening day.

Coming to KA starring Kiran Abbavaram which picked a good hype with the promotional activities in the recent days, is also off to an extraordinary start. The premieres have helped the film big time with their word of mouth. The film has also reported extraordinary occupancies today. The film may very well become the highest grosser of Kiran Abbavaram.

Bagheera, the Kannada film, however opened with poor openings and word of mouth. The film has also released in very good number of screens by the Asian Suresh Entertainments in the Telugu market. Bagheera, which had the story provided by Prashant Neel, the most in-demand director currently didn’t strike the chords with the audience. It became the disappointment among the Diwali releases.

మలయాళ యువ నటుడు దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్ ఇటీవల తెలుగులో హను రాఘవపూడి దర్శకత్వంలో చేసిన సీతారామం మూవీతో ఇక్కడి ఆడియన్స్ నుండి కూడా మంచి క్రేజ్ సొంతం చేసుకున్నారు. ఇక అక్కడి నుండి కెరీర్ పరంగా తెలుగులో కూడా మంచి స్క్రిప్ట్స్ దొరికితే చేయడానికి సిద్దమైన దుల్కర్ ఇటీవల యువ దర్శకుడు వెంకీ అట్లూరి తో లక్కీ భాస్కర్ మూవీ చేయడనికి సిద్ధమయ్యారు. సూర్యదేవర నాగవంశీ, సాయి సౌజన్య గ్రాండ్ లెవెల్లో నిర్మించిన ఈ మూవీలో యువ అందాల నటి మీనాక్షి చౌదరి హీరోయిన్ గా నటించగా జివి ప్రకాష్ సంగీతం సమకూర్చారు.
