Daaku Maharaaj Teaser: Sensational response

Tollywood Veteran Actor, Balakrishna’s upcoming film is titled Daaku Maharaaj. The film’s teaser has also released yesterday on YouTube amid good expectations. As expected, Daaku Maharaaj’s Teaser received a sensational response by garnering nearly 10 Million Viwes on YouTube in 24 hours.

The teaser also showcased Balakrishna portraying the role of a dacoit revolting against a section of baddies. The Background Music composed by Music Director, Thaman is also receiving great praise for its massy and punchy flavour. The film also stars Bobby Deol playing one of the antagonist roles alongwith Shraddha Srinath and Pragya Jaiswal playing the female lead roles.

The Teaser also raised further expectations for the fans and audiences. Daaku Maharaaj has also been confirmed as a Sankranthi release arriving on 12th January 2025 as confirmed in the Teaser. Directed by Bobby, the film is Balakrishna’s 109th flick and also the first collaboration of the duo.

Blockbuster Third Weekend for Amaran and Lucky Baskhar

The Diwali releases Amaran and Lucky Baskhar are continuing their golden run and creating box-office magic. Both these films got off to positive reviews and good word of mouth registering saw strong occupancies even on weekdays.

Amaran has been on a rampage from opening day itself. Lucky Baskhar, on the other hand, has been quite okayish in Telugu but created a box-office storm in Tamil and Malayalam markets. Both these films have emerged as massive hits and achieved great critical acclaim as well.

With Suriya’s Kanguva releasing this week, many expected Kanguva to take the audience’s attention and slow Amaran and Lucky Baskhar down. Unfortunately, Kanguva opened with negative talk and reviews, resulting in another blockbuster weekend for Sivakarthikeyan and Dulquer movies.

Amaran’s gross collection till Friday is in the range of 280 Cr and by tomorrow it will hit the Rs 300 Cr. mark. Lucky Baskhar’s worldwide gross till Friday is 95 Cr and it will cross the 100 Cr mark tomorrow. These two films are expected to run with good numbers at least for 10 days and even more as no biggies are in sight for now.

Nayanthara Speaks Out: Serious Allegations Against Dhanush

Nayanthara has issued a strong public statement against Dhanush for his refusal to provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) and issuing legal notice against her and husband Vignesh Shivan.

“It’s almost been 10 years since the release of the film, and it is a long time for someone to continue to be this vile while wearing a mask in front of the world,” said Nayanthara in the strongly worded letter.

The whole issue revolves around Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s Netflix special documentary in which the couple speak about their love story and fairy tale wedding. The recently released trailer featured 3-second clip from ‘Nanum Rowdy Dhaan’ which was directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Dhanush. The actress has been requesting for Dhanush’s NOC on using songs and clippings from the movie.

Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathy starred in the movie and it was on the sets of this film that romance blossomed between director and actress. This clip as per Dhanush was used without his permission leading to legal notice.

Dhanush has refused to provide any permission to use footage from the film for Netflix project. According to Nayanthara, Dhanush demanded Rs 10 crores for the three seconds footage which she termed as “all time low”. The strongly worded letter also advised Dhanush to stop pretending to be a saint at audio launches and stop fooling his innocent fans. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have decided to also take legal recourse soon.

పాన్ ఇండియన్ స్టార్ ఎన్టీఆర్ హీరోగా ఇటీవల కొరటాల శివ తీసిన మూవీ దేవర పార్ట్ 1. ఈమూవీలో జాన్వీ కపూర్ హీరోయిన్ గా నటించగా విలన్ గా బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు సైఫ్ ఆలీ ఖాన్ కనిపించారు. మొదటి నుండి అందరిలో మంచి అంచనాలు ఏర్పరిచిన ఈ మూవీ ఫస్ట్ డే నుండి మంచి టాక్ ని సొంతం చేసుకుని ఓపెనింగ్ మొదలుకొని క్లోజింగ్ వరకు బాగానే కలెక్షన్ రాబట్టింది.

No Sequel for Devara?

Devara was first announced as a two part film just like several other recent pan-India biggies. Choosing to do so, Devara’s 2nd half was impacted and many felt the 1st half was good but the 2nd half lagged. It was the popular opinion of a large set of audience that the film could have easily ended in one part itself and climax twist did not work for all.

Devara achieved massive box-office success due to NTR’s mega Stardom. Just the Telugu version of the film achieved 200 crore share worldwide ending up amongst the top Telugu box-office performers of all time. However, there is very less excitement on part 2. One of the main reason for this is the lead up for part 2 did not work. After the OTT release, this feeling has become even stronger and even several NTR fans are now questioning the needs for a part 2.

Now this feedback might hurt the team and there is a buzz in the industry circles that sequel may not happen. NTR has also committed to back to back films which will take long time in production. He is doing War 2 and will be next working with Prashanth Neel. After this project, he has also signed a project with Nelson Dilipkumar. Now we need to see what decision Koratala Siva and NTR take on this.

On the occasion of his birthday, SS Thaman interacted with media and revealed some exciting details about his upcoming projects. Thaman has got some of the biggest pan-India projects in his lineup including OG, The Raja Saab, Pushpa2, Game Changer and Trivikram-Allu Arjun’s Film.

Thaman’s last minute inclusion on Pushpa 2 has been a real surprise. Speaking about the film, the composer revealed that he was shocked after watching Pushpa 2. Speaking about Allu Arjun’s performance, Thaman stated that the Icon Star will sweep all awards.

Coming to Pushpa 2 music, the composer said, “They wanted me to complete the entire film in 10 days, but it wasn’t possible. I managed to finish the first half within that time.”

“I am also working on the Allu Arjun-Trivikram project. This film is going to take Trivikram garu to the next level. He’s ready to show us a whole new world with this project. You’ll see that soon,” said the music director about Allu Arjun’s next collaboration with Trivikram. This will be the fourth film in this combo after Julayi, S/o Satyamurthy, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo.

Thaman also revealed about his work on much awaited film with Prabhas- The Raja Saab. “TheRaja Saab will have six songs, including a remake song. The songs will be very much in line with a proper commercial film. We plan to start releasing song updates from January,” he stated.

There were some surprising announcements about OG as well where the composer expressed his intention to rope in Akira on keyboards for RR. Along with that, there are plans to bring in Ramana Gogula for a song. Just like The Raja Saab, the updates will start rolling from January and 80% shoot has been completed declared Thaman.

Speaking about the much awaited Shankar-Ram Charan project Game Changer, Thaman revealed some very exciting updates. “We will release a duet song from Game Changer on November 20th. After that, we have plans for a grand event in the U.S. to release the song titled “Dope,” which will also have an English version. My mind was blown when I saw the picturization of the Game Changer songs. After a long time, we are finally going to see perfect commercial songs,” stated Thaman.
