Pushpa 2 Shoot Wraps Up

With a few days to go before its release, finally, the Pushpa 2 shoot has been wrapped up at last. Sukumar has taken an extremely long time for the shoot of Pushpa2. When Pushpa was released in 2021, he took one year to complete the script work for this sequel.

Pushpa 2 went on sets around 2022 end and was first planned for the 2023 Christmas release. Due to schedule delays, the film was later moved to Summer 2024. This was again changed to August 15, 2024, which didn’t work out as well. Finally, this much-awaited sequel is releasing on 5th December.

The film faced several delays and the shoot has taken quite some time to get completed. This marathon shooting process has finally been wrapped up with the shoot of a mass duet song.

Pan-India promotions have already begun and will continue with an event in Kochi tomorrow. The pre-release event will be held in Hyderabad this weekend and a new trailer will be released in this pre-release event. Apart from this, there is a chance of the duet song being released in the next couple of days as DSP has already announced.

His actions, words, and social media posts all are pro YSRCP which is fine as everyone is free to support any political party. The director, however, is continuously skipping the enquiring citing shooting schedules. Now he has switched off the mobile and is completely underground.

In short, the courageous Ram Gopal Varma has gone underground with fear. He knows that once arrested he will have to face some severe legal consequences and police will certainly use force on him.

Pushpa 2’s Jathara episode to shake the theatres

Pushpa 2 is currently in the finishing stage with the Director Sukumar focussing entirely on the high voltage action episodes of the film. These scenes have also contributed much to the prequel, Pushpa. Now, it is known that all the action episodes have come out very well again in Pushpa 2 offering audience a massy ride. The Jathara episode which was shown in the recently release Trailer is also speculated to shake the theatres with its grandeur and taking.

Allu Arjun featured himself pulling off the Ardhanareeswara (Semi-woman) Avatar to audience’s thrill. He will also be bashing some goons in the scene which is said to come in the post interval. Kantara fame, Music Director Ajaneesh Loknath who was brought onboard recently is also said to have composed the BGM for this particular scene taking it to next level. The output of the scene is also stunning, as per sources.

The team has also reportedly spent a bomb of budget for this scene which is visible. Sukumar is also spending most of the time in taking care of these action and massy episodes in Pushpa 2 for the raw and rustic flavour.

Kissik song sets South Indian record on YouTube

The most hyped song of Pushpa 2, Kissik featuring Actress Sree Leela as special dancer has now set a South Indian record on YouTube. The song clocked more than 25 Million views in 24 hours establishing this record on its name. Kissik didn’t receive the expected response from the audience who felt that the music score was bad lacking a massy punch.

Many felt that the song would beat the special song of Samantha in Pushpa, Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava. But Kissik fell short of reaching the popularity level of the prequel song. The dance movements of Allu Arjun and Sree Leela also appeared minimal which is not at all expected from the two dance icons. However, the rich grandeur impresses the most out of the song.

The team anticipates that this negative response may get better by each passing day and form as an asset before release. We need to see if Kissk really reaches this level justifying the need of it as well. On the other hand, the team is busy on all fronts working hard to finish the post production works as soon as possible. Director Sukumar is putting his everything to see that the film finishes these by the deadline.

The disastrous result of Kollywood Actor, Suriya’s recent release, Kanguva gave nightmare to all the parties involved. The film ended up its run nearly around 100 crores worldwide also becoming the biggest disaster of Kollywood. The makers of the film have still not figured out the actual reason for the disposal of the film by the audience. One of the Producers of the film has now blamed some section of people for the ill-result of Kanguva which feels shocking.

Co-Producer of the film, Dhananjeyan interacted on YouTube about Kanguva and its result as well. He felt that two particular fandoms of Kollywood targeted Kanguva alongwith another two Political parties which resulted in the negative result of the film. He emphasized that these two fandoms, directly referring to Vijay and Ajith fans, didn’t want Suriya to reach the next level of Kollywood and worked to bring the film down. Alongwith this, the Producer targeted few political parties for causing the negativity around the film as well.

Dhananjeyan said that the team of Kanguva is not at all happy with the result and these activities surrounding Suriya and the film. With these statements, the team of Kanguva is still not in terms and completely staying away from the reality. They must accept that the content provided to the audience is below par and doesn’t meet the required stuff of a Pan India biggie. Actress and Wife of Suriya, Jyothika too previously made same statements slamming those who had spread negativity around the film also backing the film’s content as a perfectly made one.

Robinhood first single arriving tomorrow

Tollywood Actor Nithiin’s upcoming film, Robinhood is all set to start its musical adventure. The film’s first single featuring vocals from GV Prakash Kumar and Vidya Vox, in her Telugu Debut, is set for release tomorrow at 5:04 PM on YouTube. The single titled, One More Time will be a duet between the lead pair of the film.

GV Prakash Kumar also scores the Music for the film making it his first collaboration with the Actor. Robinhood Teaser has also been released recently promising a fun ride which also garnered nearly 10 Million Views on YouTube till now. The film is also the second collaboration of Nithiin and Venky Kudumula who earlier delivered a blockbuster film in the form of Bheeshma.

Fans and Audience too expect the combo to repeat the same success with Robinhood. The film is also scheduled for release on 25th December this year as a Christmas release. Nithiin is hoping to give a big comeback after suffering back to back disasters in the form of The Extraordinary Man and Macherla Niyojakavargam in the recent years.

Kannappa release date confirmed

Tollywood Actor Manchu Vishnu’s high budget project, Kannappa is currently in the making stage. The film having an ensemble cast is also aimed as a Pan India biggie by the makers. Kannappa’s release date has also been confirmed by the makers today by a poster release in the premises of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain.

Kannappa is officially set for release on 25th April in 2025. The film will aim the Summer season packed with a long holiday period with this release slot. Lead Actor Manchu Vishnu alongwith other Actors Mohanbabu and Sarath Kumar took part in this auspicious event in Ujjain Temple.

Vishnu is aiming to score a big blockbuster with Kannappa by also hoping of a solid comeback. He had no hit in the recent years as an Actor. Currently he is also serving as the President of Movie Artistes Association (MAA). Tollywood Actor, Prabhas is also playing a cameo role in Kannappa to hype up the film more nationwide. His look has been leaked recently which went viral later on social media platforms.

Devi Sri Prasad missed a logic in targeting only the Producer of Pushpa 2

Yesterday, Pushpa 2 had an event happened in Chennai as part of the promotional activities. Music Director Devi Sri Prasad while speaking came out strong indirectly against the Producer. He felt that the Producer certainly loved him but it was not enough to dominate also the disappointment he feels about him. But Devi Sri Prasad has obviously missed logic targeting only the Producer of the film leaving aside the actual personalities he should have also targeted.

According to Devi Sri Prasad, the Producer of the film was not happy with the late submission of the BGM work for the film which he quoted indirectly. But he should understand that the Producer wouldn’t be the only person to get frustrated about this.

Other than him or even more than him, the lead Actor and Director of a film experience the same kind of disappointment if anything related to film doesn’t get delivered on time by technicians. And no one knows whose decision this was to replace him with other music directors. A Producer wouldn’t dare to take this step without consulting with the other prominent players.

This would have also been a collective decision taken by all to avoid a postponement. The team is also busy too hard finishing the post production works by the deadline. The issue or the fall-out occurred when Devi Sri Prasad conducted a concert at this deadly hour of the post production works. This surely angers any film personality.

But Devi Sri Prasad choosing to target only the Producer is meaningless. We all know that he didn’t show courage in exhibiting this at Allu Arjun or Sukumar which feels not reasonable. It could have been great if he had avoided this completely and let his work speak.

Amaran 25 days Box Office Collections

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Amaran is unstoppable at the box office and is continuing sensational numbers even on its 4th weekend. After 25 days, the movie has collected 320 Cr gross gross worldwide.

In Tamil Nadu, the film crossed the 150 Cr mark yesterday and it’s expected to finish its run in the range of 170Cr+ With no notable releases coming up this weekend, we can expect a successful fifth weekend as well before Pushpa 2 hits the screens.

Coming to Telugu states, Amaran has collected 46 Cr gross in 25 days. It’s expected to touch the 50 crore mark in its full run.

While the film is doing well theatrically, the only roadblock for the collections is that it may arrive on OTT this weekend. That will certainly affect the Box Office numbers. If the film doesn’t arrive on OTT this weekend, then we can surely expect another 20 Cr collections worldwide

Netflix announces Lucky Baskhar streaming date

Recent Telugu film of Dulquer Salmaan, Lucky Baskhar became a big hit. The film brought the Actor the needed relief by grossing nearly 100 crores worldwide also impressing the audience in Tamil and Malayalam languages as well. Now, Lucky Baskhar is set for the OTT streaming and the date is also announced by the streaming platform, Netflix.

Lucky Baskhar is set for streaming on 28th November on Netflix in all the prominent Indian languages. It is also expected to do big on the OTT platform just as its theatrical peformance. Lucky Baskhar has managed to have a good long run at the box office in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages even with a competition from Tamil Blockbuster, Amaran.

The film also becomes the solo 100 crores grosser of Dulquer Salmaan. It has also become his successive solo hit in Tollywood after Sita Ramam which grossed nearly 70 crores worldwide. Dulquer Salmaan will be pumped up with the success of the film and would concentrate more on his upcoming films.
