Will Dil Raju Convince the Government?

Dil Raju is a towering figure in the Telugu Film Industry. The ace producer was recently appointed as the Chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation by the Government of Telangana. Ever since he was appointed to this new role, there has been one question on everyone’s mind- Will Dil Raju convince the Telangana government regarding their recent decision to ban special shows?

Special shows are very crucial for big films as they ensure big collections. But recently with the Pushpa 2 incident, the Telangana government ordered that there will be no special shows from hereon.

The first film to be impacted by this decision is Dil Raju’s own film Game Changer starring Ram Charan. The producer had earlier said Game Changer will have benefit shows in both Telugu states like all other biggies.

He has a lot riding on Game Changer and he will definitely try to convince the government for special shows with safety measures. We need to see how government will respond to his request

Director Shankar announcement long ago about making a big budgeted film based on a novel, Velapari. The Director has once again confirmed that his next film will be on Velapari which is being planned as a 3 part film. The Screenplay work of the film is also said to have been finished as per Shankar. The lead Actors for the film are yet to be finalised.

Shankar opined that the film needs strong and majestic Actors since it requires two lead characters. Earlier there were rumours that Suriya and Vikram came onboard the film but nothing has been confirmed. Shankar is currently busy with his Game Changer scheduled for release on 10th January next year. The film will actually be a Game Changer for Shankar who is suffering with a big disaster in the form of Indian 2 this year.

If Game Changer succeeds, Shankar can go with Velapari as he planned before. But if that doesn’t happen, the Director must oblige to reduce the budget constraints for his dream project. We have to wait and see what happens for the Game Changer.

Anil Ravipudi’s films and Sankranti are a great combination. All of his Sankranti films have done great box-office business, and he has delivered career-best numbers for his Sankranti heroes. Something similar is expected from Venkatesh starter Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.

Sankrantiki VastHunnam is poised to be another huge blockbuster and the movie is carrying good reports. The film is high on entertainment and has worked well for the film. Even the songs have received positive feedback and are carrying a solid buzz.

Shankar Reveals Game Changer Story Plot

Shankar reveals the Game Changer Story Plot. Ram Charan and Shankar’s upcoming big film Game Changer is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on January 10, 2025. Director Shankar recently faced the biggest disaster with his previous film, Indian 2. Because of this, there are many doubts about the content of Game Changer, but the inside circles say that the film is carrying positive reports. 

In a recent interview, Shankar expressed his views on the film. He said that he is completely satisfied with the way the Game Changer has turned out. The veteran director stated it is a lifetime character for Ram Charan. It will be a racy movie filled with brilliant screenplay. Mufasa: The Lion King Telugu bookings on a good note

Mufasa: The Lion King, the Hollywood sequel of The Lion King is releasing tomorrow i.e., 20th December. The film is also releasing in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages in India with voice overs of Mahesh Babu, Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Das lent for the titular character, Mufasa. The Advance bookings of the film have been opened and the Telugu bookings have started on a good note.

The Telugu Trailer of the film generated good viewership on YouTube garnering more than 3 Million views. Moreover, the voice over of Mahesh Babu added as one of the advantages for the film. The Actor too promoted the film ahead of the release bringing it the needed hype. He even put a latest tweet on his official X/Twitter handle expressing his joy dubbing for the film. The Actor has also hoped of delivering splendid experience for the audience with the film.

Interestingly, the Telugu version bookings have surpassed the Hindi version bookings till now. At this point, the Telugu version has tickets of over 43,000 sold amounting the gross to nearly 60 Lakhs. While, the Hindi version gross is at 50 Lakhs. This indicates that the film’s Telugu version is set to witness a good pull at the box office for the weekend. So, let’s wait and see.

Pushpa 2 shatters one more record in Week 2

Pushpa 2 has been on a record spree ever since it released amidst great hype. The film has already grossed more than 1000 crores and is nearing towards the 1500 crore mark worldwide. The box office pull is still intact even for the second week. Pushpa 2 shattered a futher record in its Week 2 shocking everyone.

Pushpa 2 is learnt to have grossed nearly 175 crores in just 6 days of its second week. This is the highest number for any film in its second week. Pushpa 2 has already surpassed Stree 2, Baahubali 2, Gadar 2, Animal and Jawan. Pushpa 2’s Hindi gross now stands at more than 615 crores. The film looks unstoppable and may even add more numbers with the New Year holiday period.

The team should be very happy with this phenomenal performance of Pushpa 2. The film is expected to go beyond Baahubali 2 in the full run worldwide. However, its performance in Telugu States is a concern. The film hasn’t managed to rake in big numbers in few territories and we need to see what happens by its final run.

Viduthalai 2: Runtime Revised

Viduthalai 2 gets its runtime revised. Renowned director Vetrimaaran’s cop drama, Viduthalai 2 is all set to be released in theaters worldwide in a few hours now. The film was censored at 172 minutes 38 Seconds. The latest reports suggest that the team trimmed another 8 minutes from the film before going to theatres.

It is a good decision from the makers as we have seen many films suffer with lengthy runtimes. It is better to give perfect runtime before release itself, instead of trimming after release, which would create unnecessary confusion among audiences. Viduthalai 2 gets its runtime revised.

The movie’s advance bookings are good in Tamil and it is expected to take a double-digit opening worldwide, and if word of mouth is positive, it will also open with good numbers in Telugu. Balagam Fame Mogilaiah Passes Away. Balagam, a rural emotional drama directed by actor-turned-director Venu Yeldandi and produced under Dil Raju’s banner received immense praise and box office success. The film especially resonated well with Telangana’s core public and gained significant recognition. Many love the film’s climax song, “Thoduga Ma Thodundi.” 

The couple, Komramma and Mogilaiah from the Warangal district, who sang this song, became popular after the song and film’s success. However, the fans of Balagam were shocked as Balagam Fame Mogilaiah Passes Away.

Mogilayya passed away due to health issues on Thursday morning. The film’s director, Venu Yeldandi, along with the film team and the government, provided financial assistance for Mogilaiah’s medical expenses. Recently, during the Ponnam Sattyya Award function, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the government would provide a house plot and construct a home for Mogilaiah’s family, as well as cover all medical expenses. Speaker Gaddam Prasad also extended financial support of ₹1 lakh.
