Nampally Court Adjourns Allu Arjun’s Bail Petition. The arguments on Allu Arjun’s bail plea have been completed in Nampally court, and the court deferred the verdict to January 3. It is widely known that Allu Arjun, who is currently out on interim bail granted by the High Court, is facing legal issues regarding a case of a woman’s death at the Sandhya Theater, Hyderabad.

The actor was granted interim bail earlier, which gave a temporary respite to him and his fans. However, the afterward incidents of that bail generated more intensity from the government in the case. Nampally Court Adjourns Allu Arjun’s Bail Petition to the next date.

Srikanth Odela’s Promise on Chiranjeevi’s Film excites everyone. It is widely known that Megastar Chiranjeevi announced a film with young director Srikanth Odela, who made his debut as a director with Dasara, starring Nani. One more interesting thing is, Nani will be the producer of Chiru-Odela Cinema.

In a recent interview, the young director spoke about the film with Megastar. Odela said that he is a fan only until Chiranjeevi steps out of his Caravan. “I grew up watching Chiranjeevi Garu’s films, and I can’t believe I’m working with him. We finalized the script within 48 hours. It felt like I was on cloud nine.

This film will be different from his earlier ones. You won’t see the vintage megastar; instead, you’ll see him in a fresh, age-appropriate avatar. I’m a fan only until Chiranjeevi Garu steps out of his caravan. Once he does, he becomes a character in my film.”

Andhra Buyers Face Losses with Pushpa 2

Pushpa 2 has collected more than 1500 Cr gross worldwide till now. Normally blockbuster of this magnitude would have delivered massive profits for Telugu buyers. Surprisingly, that’s not the case and the movie has not achieved breakeven for a majority of buyers in Andhra.

In Ceeded, the movie performed well but it hasn’t reached the breakeven due to record business. The movie business ratio is 35 Cr and the movie collected in the range of 34 Cr share. It still needs to collect 1 Cr and expenses. For a few exhibitors, Pushpa 2 has given profits while some are yet to reach breakeven.

In the Andhra region, a majority of buyers are yet to reach breakeven due to the high business value. The Andhra theatrical rights are sold at 85 Cr ratio excluding GST and the film has collected around 70 Cr only.

Not just Andhra but the south, in general, has been disappointing in terms of collections compared to the north for Pushpa 2. Malayalam is a complete disaster while TN also recovered around 80%. The north is a whole different story with record collections everywhere and Pushpa mania blowing every Bollywood movie away.

Baby John’s box office performance has shocked everyone. The film unintentionally declares that Bollywood should stop making remakes. Baby John was made on a huge budget and was also promoted well. However, despite having a huge star cast like Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh and good promotions, the film failed to get even decent reviews from critics.

This shows an outside rejection of remake films. The film just collected around 25 Cr net in India on its extended first weekend, which is a disastrous collection, and its closing will be less than 40 Cr. Varun Dhawan’s Baby John’s box office performance has shocked everyone.

Before a few years, the remake films did very well in Hindi. However, after the emergence of the digital era people have access to many dubbed films. So definitely there will be very little interest from them for remakes, which will impact the box office numbers of those films. The result of Baby John indicates Bollywood to stop remakes. For that matter, not only in Bollywood but even in Telugu and Tamil, the remake films are not performing like original films at the box office.

Marco 10 Days Worldwide Collections are out now. The latest action film from Malayalam Film Industry, Marco posted strong numbers on the 2nd weekend and the good news is, the Hindi version also started to the film’s overall collections.

The film has collected around 34 Cr gross in Kerala, while it gathered 7 Cr from the rest of India and Overseas number stands at 27 Cr. So, the total worldwide gross of the film stands 68 Cr. The film is getting released in Telugu version on new year day and the Tamil Version will be out on 3rd January. If the dubbed versions help the film, then it will easily join 100 Cr club. Sikandar Teaser becomes the 5th Most viewed Teaser in 24hours

The Teaser of Sikandar, the upcoming film of Salman Khan and A.R. Murugadoss was released yesterday by the makers. The Teaser showed Salman Khan bashing the baddies dressed in Samurai clothes in his style with a kick-ass BGM. The Teaser has also clocked nearly 42 Million views on YouTube becoming the 5th most viewed Indian Teaser in 24 hours.

In the category of the most viewed Teasers in 24 hours, Salaar tops the list with nearly 83 Million views followed by Adipurush with nearly 68.9 Million views, KGF Chapter 2 with 68.8 Million views, Radhe Shyam with 42.7 Million views. Interestingly Pushpa 2 Teaser has now been broken and replaced by Sikandar with 42 Million views. With these views, it also becomes the most viewed Bollywood Teaser in 24 hours which was held by Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan until now with 36.8 Million views.

The response to Sikandar Teaser is a big boost up for the team especially for the Director, A.R. Murugadoss who hasn’t made his mark in the recent past years. He will also be pumped up with the response to go ahead big for the rest of the shoot. Sikandar is slated for release on Eid next year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today in his popular Mann ki Baat programme, hailed Tollywood Matinee Idol, ANR for his contributions to the Film Industry. He opined that ANR and his films reflected Indian traditions and values greatly. This came as a surprise and a great tribute to the Late Actor.

Modi also said that ANR took Telugu Cinema to great heights with his films and acting. He also referred it to as an identity of Timeless Act. This year also marks the birth centenary of the Late Actor who passed away a decade ago from Cancer. Since then, the Actor and his contributions to both Telugu and Indian Cinema have been remembered and greatly praised by many celebrities.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu not releasing in March

Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan has been in the shoot process for the past 2 years. Originally slated for release on 28th March next year, the film now is about to face another postponement. The unavailability of Pawan Kalyan due to his political activities is said to be the main reason for the deferment. The film is surely missing a great holiday period with this decision.

Pawan Kalyan recently joined the shoot of Hari Hara Veera Mallu alongwith OG. Fans and Audience erupted with joy seeing the Actor finally coming into the shoot mode. The team of Hari Hara Veera Mallu too has gone ahead fixing the release date but only for their disappointment again. It is also speculated that OG may even face a postponement from its release date slated for 27th September next year.

Pawan Kalyan must finish one of these films for the sake of the Producers and the crew involved. He should allot time equally to films and politics atleast for now. There is no information about his re-joining of these films’ shoot as well.

Tollywood Actor Ram Charan is learnt to be gracing Veteran Actor Balakrishna’s popular talk show, Unstoppable with NBK. This comes as part of promotional acitivities of his upcoming film, Game Changer which is slated for release on 10th January next year. The pre-release event of the film was already held in USA recently.

This will be the first time for Ram Charan to appear on the show. Besides promoting the film, he will also be sharing many personal experiences in his life. Recently, team of Sankranthi Vasthunam graced the event where Venkatesh and Balakrishna interacted about many events and films. This show is currently streaming on Aha Video as well.

The shoot of the episode is said to be done on 31st December this month and it is likely to stream for the Sankranthi festival. The team of Game Changer is also expected to take part in the show.
