Chiranjeevi Signs Multiple Films. Megastar Chirajneevi is on a signing spree. He already has a film in his hands, Vishwambhara, which is expected to arrive in theaters in summer or 2nd half of 2025. But the fans will be happier as Chiranjeevi Signs Multiple Films.

According to the inside reports, the Megastar will join Anil Ravipudi’s film this summer, and at the beginning of next year’s beginning, he will work with Dasara director Srikanth Odela. The latest news is Chiranjeevi has signed another film with Waltair Veerayya director Bobby.

Chiranjeevi is continuously signing films, and the best thing is, from Vishwambhara we can watch a new movie from him with a gap of 6-8 months between each film. Vishwambhara, directed by Bimbisara fame Mallidi Vassishta, was supposed to be released this Sankranthi, but it was delayed because of VFX Work. As of now, no latest release date for the film has been announced but the rumor is the makers are eyeing the May 9th date.

Venkatesh talks about Rana Naidu Complaints and Season 2. It is widely known that Telugu Senior Star Hero Victory Venkatesh scored a massive blockbuster with his latest film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The film created many records at the box office and still the movie’s unit is promoting it aggressively. During this, Venkatesh talks about Rana Naidu Complaints and Season 2.

Recently, the team of Sankranthiki Vastunam arranged a press meet, and the makers announced that the film has collected 230 Cr gross worldwide till now. In the Q & A session Venkatesh addressed a question on Rana Naidu 2. A journalist asked Venky that the Bulli Raju Character was supposed to give a message about kids getting spoiled watching OTT, then why did he act in a web series called Rana Naidu which has explicit adult content.

Venkatesh answered that he does not know who and how many kids were spoiled after seeing Rana Naidu, but he also stated the second season of Rana Naidu 2 will not have the adult content as much as the first season. 

Putting all the complaints aside, Rana Naidu’s first season was a big hit for Netflix, as it received a record viewership. Rana Naidu 2’s shooting has been completed already, and it is expected to stream from this March end or April.

Daaku Maharaaj Disappoints In Ceeded

Ceeded is undoubtedly Balakrishna’s strongest territory and his mass films always do strong business and post huge numbers at the box office. From Akhanda to Bhagavanth Kesari, all his recent films collected around Rs 15 Cr share in this region.

Surprisingly, Daaku Maharaaj- an out-and-out mass film with positive word of mouth is not performing as expected. Given the extra ticket prices and positive talk, the movie could have been the biggest film for Balakrishna in Ceeded.

Unfortunately, the film’s share is around 12 Cr and it might just add another 1 Cr from here. The buyers will also experience some losses in this territory as the business is valued at around 15 Cr.

Daaku Majaraj has done well in Andhra and overseas but disappointed in the Nizam region and Ceeded. The film underperforming in Nizam is understandable as Balakrishna is not that strong in the region but Ceeded performance is indeed shocking.

Vidaamuyarchi Re-censored

Vidaamuyarchi has been re-censored. It is widely known that Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi, which was set to be released this Pongal/Sankranthi, was delayed and announced for a 6th February release. The film will also be released in Telugu as a simultaneous release. The latest news is that Vidaamuyarchi has been re-censored.

The film’s trailer was recently released, and Vidaamuyarchi was censored a few days back with a 150-minute runtime. Now it has been re-censored as some additional runtime was added for the film by director Magizh Thirumeni.

After re-censoring, Vidaamuyarchi’s updated runtime is 154 minutes. The film’s story is an adaptation of the Hollywood film Breakdown, and the makers made many changes to suit Tamil audiences. It is Kollywood’s first biggie this year, and it is expected to open hugely at the box office.

Veera Dheera Sooran release date confirmed

Vikram starrer Veera Dheera Sooran faced a postponement from its initial plan of arriving for Sankranthi to avoid a clash with Vidaamuyarchi. But Vidaamuyarchi too had postponed this slot to February 6th due to a copyright issue with Hollywood Production House, Paramount Pictures’s film Breakdown. The makers of Veera Dheera Sooran have now come up with a new release date.

Veera Dheera Sooran will be released worldwide on 27th March as a Summer venture. The same has been confirmed by Vikram on his official X/Twitter handle. The Actor tweeted, “Our deadly #Kaali is all set to meet you in Theatres From 27th March 2025! Mark the date and get ready to witness the epic action thriller #VeeraDheeraSooran.” This has really excited the audience who were waiting for the new release date announcement.

This release period will also be a good choice for the makers to avoid further clashes with already scheduled films. The Teaser of the film was also released recently which received good applause. Vikram who tasted a failure in the form of Thangalaan last year is hoping to make a comeback with this film. Co-starring Dushara Vijayan, the film is directed by SU Arun Kumar.

Makers of Toxic receive show cause notice

Toxic starring Yash is one of big budgeted films in Sandalwood. The film is directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions. The film’s shoot is also currently happening but the makers of Toxic have received a jolt in the form of a show cause notice. Karnataka Forest Minister, Eswar B Khandre confirmed that a notice has been issued for cutting the trees as part of making.

The Minister objected to the excessive felling of trees for the creation of sets for the film. He also asserted that action will be taken once the responses from the production team are reviewed. The Actual incident occurred in October 2024 when Khandre accused the film’s crew of cutting down trees on forest land within the Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) premises in Bengaluru.

The shoot was also halted then and the Forest Minister seems to have taken the issue very seriously. But on the other hand, the team of Toxic is going ahead with the shoot and recently, the Glimpse of the film was also released. This glimpse titled, Birthday Peek has received a staggering 56 Million Views on YouTube.

Ram Gopal Varma assures comeback, plans a film titled “Syndicate”

Tollywood Director Ram Gopal Varma surprised everyone assuring a strong comeback after having been low with many disappointing films made in the past decade. The Director said that he was moved into tears after watching his film, Satya recently and questioned himself about his ability to make low-content films. He now confirmed that he is coming up with a film titled Syndicate.

The Director posted a long note on his official X/Twitter expressing sadness about making bad films. As confirmed, Syndicate will be made about a terrifying organization that threatens the very EXISTENCE of INDIA and also deals with horrors human beings can do. He also said that he vowed to wash away all his cinema sins with this Syndicate. RGV also clarified that all the details of the film will be announced soon.

This came as a big surprise to the audience who appreciated the Director for realizing his mistake and expressed their confidence in seeing a new Ram Gopal Varma back in style. We have to see if this film really materializes as the Director discontinued many such projects in the past after declaring them.
