Sankranthiki Vasthunam became a sensational blockbuster with a rampage at the box office. The film is still unstoppable even on the 13th day maintaining the same dominance. It has also pushed down Sarileru Neekevvaru’s record and is now after the other Industry hit Ala Vaikuntapurramulo.
The film posted great numbers even on the second weekend with yesterday being a Sunday registering a massive jump in the collections.
For 13 days, the film has collected 116 crores share in Telugu States and 139 crores worldwide. Now, with 139 crores share, Sankranthi Vasthunam has officially taken the spot of Sarileru Neekevvaru and will look to enter the top spot, beating Ala Vaikuntapurramulo. Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4 has started to build the required hype even before it goes on to the sets. I have decided to delete those scenes where we have shown Sambhaji Maharaj playing Lezim dance,” said the director. While the controversy attracted a lot of heat, the Chief Minister himself had his views on the topic.
