Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest film, Jack, was made on a very big budget, as it was his film after the blockbuster Tillu series. The energetic actor collaborating with Bommarillu Bhaskar excited audiences. However, sadly, Jack bombs at the box office.

As said above, the combination of Bommarillu Bhaskar and Star Boy Siddhu made everyone interested in the film, Jack, but the promotional content didn’t impress anyone. Especially, the trailer’s release made the film’s buzz go down, and upon its theatrical release, the WOM also was poor.

With this, the film almost ended its box office run. Jack collected just around 8 Cr gross worldwide, which is not even 1/3 of Tillu Square’s opening day. However, one positive takeaway from this film is that some audiences are turning up just for Siddhu’s name or brand. 

So, it means that the actor can definetly bring big numbers if he comes with the right content. Siddhu’s next film is Telusu Kada, a love entertainer directed by Neeraja Kona.

Aith’s Good, Bad, Ugly has emerged as a clean blockbuster at the box office. The film opened with 30 Cr+ gross in Tamil Nadu, and it is the first 30 Cr opening for Ajith. IT continued the strong run for the weekend with an 86-87 Cr collection. Good Bad Ugly becomes Tamil Nadu’s first 100 Cr grosser of 2025.

Yesterday was the Tamil New Year holiday, which helped the film maintain a solid hold and surpass the 100 Cr mark.  This is the 4th 100 Cr film for Ajith in Tamil Nadu after Viswasam, Valimai, and Thunivu. 

It also became the fastest 100 Cr film for Ajith, and the star is yet to score 150 Cr gross in Tamil Nadu. By looking at the current trend, GBU has higher chances to achieve the feat. Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly becomes Tamil Nadu’s first 100 Cr grosser of 2025, and for 5 days, overall worldwide, the film has collected more than 170 Cr gross.

Today will be a crucial day for the film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, as it is the 1st weekday after a big/extended weekend. If it holds well, then it can gather huge numbers in the long run for sure.

According to the doctors, Mark Shankar’s condition is improving. The whole family arrived in Hyderabad to support Mark’s recovery. Chiranjeevi and Surekha had already been rushed to Singapore when the fire accident happened. As said above, Allu Arjun met Pawan Kalyan to inquire about Mark’s health on Monday (April 14th) evening.

Reportedly, Allu Arjun visited Pawan Kalyan and his family at their home in Hyderabad yesterday, along with his wife, Sneha Reddy. The couple had a personal meeting with Pawan Kalyan and his family. Reportedly, they spent around 1 hour discussing Mark’s health.

Vishwambhara Team’s misstep

Vishwambhara starring Chiranjeevi is one of the most awaited projects of Tollywood. The film is not a regular commercial film and being made with a lavish budget with grand visuals. The team released the Glimpse of the film months ago and it attained criticism because of the poor visual setup.

The Team didn’t release any second Glimpse to raise expectations but just released a song on Hanuman Jayanthi. This proved to be a misstep from the Team. They should first show the budget and the span of the film to get a big business deal. The song was good, but the film must have a big promotional content and strategy.

If we look at the song, it appeared as a regular song shot on a set. So, these things may not get the expected business deal. The team must concentrate on the visuals first and showcase their grandeur on a big scale. The team hasn’t announced the release date as of yet. It is expected that the film may release at the end of July and there is a good time in between to plan proper promotional activity that involves visual grandeur.

The HIT franchise takes a bold new turn with this film, as it shifts its focus to an antagonist-turned-protagonist narrative that adds depth to the investigative arc. While the background score could’ve packed more punch, the film thrives on Sanu Varghese’s striking cinematography and crisp, purposeful editing. 

Overall, Nani’s HIT 3 trailer is intense and destructive. It’s a well-crafted piece that marks a strong comeback for Sailesh and a clear step up in both storytelling and style. One can see Nani’s fierce cop mentality in the trailer as he takes a strong stand against criminals. He either wants to lock them behind 10-foot bars or bury them in a 6-foot grave. He needs to resolve the case of a kidnapped 9-month-old, and slowly, a need to confront the dark side of crime emerges.

This is one of Nani’s more challenging roles physically. He transitioned from a soft boy look to playing a tough cop, and his demeanor and facial expressions show the required ruthlessness.
