Promotional events of films in recent times are going overboard. Makers Hype up few scenes of a film during these events to create buzz among the audience. Some films also got bombed to match the expectations set by the makers at the box office. Recent film, Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi, is a perfect example of this.
The Team including Actor Kalyan Ram talked much about the climax portion of the film. He said that the climax was a never-before one in Indian Cinema and expressed confidence that it would work hugely. But for the audience, it was just a decent one and didn’t live up to the expectations. The film also looks to become a failure at the box office with poor theatrical performance.
This happened not just for Arjun Son Of Vyjayanthi but also with few recent releases. Devara starring NTR, too, was projected to have a memorable climax, but it appeared just average. Pushpa 2’s climax was also flat and didn’t hype up the lead to Pushpa 3.
Director Sukumar in Game Changer’s Pre-release event spoke highly about the climax, declaring that Ram Charan did an extraordinary performance in the climax. He also stated that the Actor deserved a national award for his performance. But the climax of Game Changer didn’t even strike a chord, and the film became a miserable failure.
It’s better if the makers or celebrities speak less about the scenes or portions of the films before the release. Their words and speeches attract a lot of criticism if the particular film flops at the box office.
