Jai Hanuman: Hero Finalised

Prashant Varma’s Hanuman was a sensational blockbuster surpassing every expectation and achieving several milestones during its theatrical run. Produced by Prime Show Entertainment, the sequel Jai Hanuman has now shifted to Mythri Movie Makers who will be producing the movie on a much bigger scale.

The team has been in discussions with many heroes for the lead hero role to play Hanuman for quite some time. Finally, Kantara fame Rishabh Shetty has been finalised. At the moment, Rishabh Shetty is busy with the Kantara Prequel while Prashant Varma is working on Mokshgna’s debut project.

Jai Hanuman will go on sets after these commitments most probably in early 2026. This sequel would feature Lord Hanuman in a full-length role unlike in Hanuman. Director Prasanth Varma has already started working on it and he hinted about the same through his official X account.

Tamannaah interrogated by ED

Actress Tamannaah has come under Enforcement Directorate (ED) scanner. The Actress has been summoned by the agency today in Guwahati, Assam. It is learnt that Tamannaah has been summoned in connection with Mahadev betting App endorsement. This App is reportedly used for the IPL matches as part of betting.

The Actress has appeared before the Agency as well. Many Bollywood Actors have also been summoned in connection with this App endorsements recently. Ranbir Kapoor has also appeared besides Shraddha Kapoor and Kapil Sharma for the interrogation recently. We have to see how the Agency acts in the case against them. Some other Actors may also be interrogated in the future regarding this case.

On the workfront, Tamannaah is currently working for Odela 2. She recently appeared in a cameo role in Stree 2 which became a big blockbuster. We need to also see how the Actress responds about the case after the interrogation session.

Suriya and team of Kanguva begin Hindi promotions

Kollywood Actor Suriya with his latest film Kanguva is set to make noise. The Actor along with the team of Kanguva has begun Hindi promotions. He was spotted alongwith the lead Actress Disha Patani in Mumbai for an interview. Director Siva too attended the event. The team hopes to score big making Kanguva a Pan India hit.

The film’s release date is fixed on 14th November worldwide. Kanguva’s trailer has already been released and it achieved a great response. With less than a month for the release, the team and Suriya hope to take it further with the promotional activity. They may also begin the interviews in the other languages as well. But going by their preference, it looks like they are in need of Kanguva’s reach in Hindi markets.

Suriya has pinned high hopes on Kanguva. He hasn’t scored a proper blockbuster in the recent times. The Producer of the film, K.E. Gnanavel Raja has already highlighted the film saying that the film might even gross nearly 2000 crores worldwide after the release.

Mathu Vadalara 2 underperforms in theatres

Mathu Vadalara 2 which released recently received a positive respone and became a big blockbuster. It also collected around 15 crore share worldwide. But Mathu Vadalara 2 has underperformed in theatres considering the craze it achieved on social media platforms in the past few days.

The film has arrived on Netflix and its popularity has become even more with many netizens putting out some of the scenes from the film. These scenes have attracted many views and likes as well. The people who watched the film on Netflix now felt that it was far better than the first part. By observing the craze it attained now, it feels that Mathu Vadalara 2 has really underperformed in the theatres.

One of the main reasons for its underperformance will be poor promotion and releasing it on a Non-holiday season. If it had been released on Dussehra it would have fetched the double revenue of what it actually made. But with the response it now has created, Mathu Vadalara 3 will have a great opening. The team has already announced this.

Devara performs moderately in Non-Telugu markets

Devara, latest film of Tollywood Actor NTR and Director Koratala Siva became a big blockbuster in Telugu version. The film made profits for all the buyers involved here. But Devara has performed just moderately in Non-Telugu markets not making it a complete Pan India hit.

In Tamil Nadu, Devara collected only around 10 crores wherein half of the gross came from Telugu version itself there. In Kerala, the film just collected over 2 crores which is considered very low number. While coming to the Hindi belt, Devara saw a very good opening but couldn’t hold the momentum and ended up in the range of 60 crore Nett.

Devara has reportedly collected more than 400 crores gross worldwide where 80% of the revenue came from Telugu version alone. Other language markets didn’t contribute much as expected to get the tag of Pan India blockbuster. Besides, it is not a complete disappointment as well. Devara finished it as an okayish performer in other language markets.

Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli Film To Be Made In Two Parts!

Emergency is an upcoming Hindi-language biographical film starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. Also written and directed by the actress herself, this is a political drama based on the Indian emergency (1975–1977).
