Hari Hara Veera Mallu Needs That Baahubali–Pushpa Level Magic

0

The pan-Indian trend for Telugu cinema started in the last 8 years, and Baahubali and Pushpa are both movies that took this trend to the next level. Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu needs Baahubali–Pushpa-level magic now.

Financial Hurdles led to the postponement of Hari Hara Veera Mallu

It is widely known that Hari Hara Veera Mallu—Part 1: Sword vs. Spirit was officially postponed, and the team has not announced a new release date till now. It is expected to come out with the film’s trailer.

The financial hurdles are the main reason for the postponement, and the producer, AM Ratnam, is supposed to go into deficit due to the high budget spent on the movie.

Only the magic of Baahubali – Pushpa Level can save Hari Hara Veera Mallu

If a huge amount is spent on a single film, it will be the worst situation for any producer, but HHHVM is a two-part film, and the majority of the shoot of the second part is already completed. So the producer can take a risk of losing some crores to release the first part.

He can sell the first part for moderate prices, and if it works at the theater, the second part can have massive buzz, which will recover his loss with huge profits. That is why Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu needs Baahubali–Pushpa-level magic now.

AM Ratnam has to take a calculated risk to be in a safe position for Hari Hara Veera Mallu

This is not new for Telugu cinema, as the sensational blockbuster series like Baahubali and Pushpa had the same result. The 1st part of both films put the producer in deficit, but after the release, those films worked in other languages, especially in Hindi.

Because of such pan-Indian success, Baahubali and Pushpa created massive buzz for part 2, and everyone knows how big the sequels of the films worked and brought massive profits for the makers.

A result like Indian 2 can put Hari Hara Veera Mallu in danger

So, if AM Ratnam, as a producer, wants to go safe with part 1 itself by selling the rights, it is not possible at this moment, as there is a huge difference between his quoted prices and distributors’ offers. He should sell the rights for moderate prices.

But the major risk is, if part 1 fails, then the producer will be in a complete mess. For example, Indian 2 faced a massive setback at the box office, and the next part’s release is in doubt because of such failure.

The experienced producer AM Ratnam needs to take a calculated risk to get rid of this situation, but the irony is, there is no guarantee that his risk will pay off.

Good Vibes for 8 Vasanthalu

0

8 Vasanthalu is an upcoming romantic drama directed by Madhuram (short film)fame Phanindra Narsetti, who also directed the feature film Manu. The latest teaser has produced good vibes for 8 Vasanthalu.

Starring Ananthika Sanilkumar as the lead actress alongside Hanu Reddy and Ravitheja Duggirala, the film’s first teaser was released a few months ago and received a good response. Now the second teaser starts the good vibes for Phanindra Narsetti’s 8 Vasanthalu.

8 Vasanthalu Teaser Works Well

Yesterday, on June 7, the makers released the new glimpse, and it worked very well, as the dialogues are trending on social media. The video shows an evolving bond between the two leads and ends with the line, “Love is not a destination to reach, but a journey we are meant to take.”

The music looks like the biggest asset for the teaser and the film. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will be released in theaters worldwide on 20th June, and till then, the film is all set to have a good craze among audiences.

IMAX Coming to Hyderabad

0

Not only the Telugu cinema audience but even international movie lovers love the IMAX experience. Cinephiles love the big screen experience, and the latest news from Asian Group’s Suniel Narang is that IMAX is coming to Hyderabad.

IMAX is well-known for its large screen, which is ten times larger than a typical theater. It features high-quality sound and video. For years, Hyderabad’s iconic Prasads Multiplex had the IMAX screen, and it was the only one in both Telugu states.

Audiences loved to get immersed in stunning visuals and magnificent sound. However, the contract between Prasad’s group and the team ended, and Telugu audiences were left without a single IMAX screen in their homeland.

IMAX Experience saw a rapid improvement in its standards

Over the years, IMAX technology has improved rapidly. The company rolled out new standards, advanced sound systems, and tighter collaborations with filmmakers. Installing a new IMAX screen requires significant investment and exact technical skills.

Prasad’s launched its own format, PCX, offering a large-screen experience that resembled IMAX. Though the screen lacks the charm of IMAX, the audiences still love this experience.

Asian Group to bring IMAX to Hyderabad

As said above, recently, Suniel Narang from the Asian Group mentioned that IMAX is coming to Hyderabad again. The team plans to set up a new screen in Hakimpet in the next two years. If successful, Hyderabad will return to the IMAX scene.

For a film-loving city, this is more than simply a new screen, and it even promotes Telugu cinema to excel in scale and narrative, resulting in more attempts to raise the bar of larger-than-life experiences to the next level.

Only Siddhu Jonnalagadda under fire – But why?

0

Tollywood Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda rose to fame with the success of his film, DJ Tillu. The Actor also came up with the sequel of the film, Tillu Square, which became the biggest blockbuster, grossing more than 120 crores worldwide. The Actor also had increased his remuneration after this, for which he is being targeted now.

The Actor’s recent film, Jack became a miserable failure at the box office. Siddhu Jonnalagadda was also learnt to have come forward to compensate for the film’s failure, returning half of his remuneration. But the trolling of the Actor has not stopped even after this move, which looks unfortunate and intentional.

Any Actor or Director would surely raise the remuneration after achieving a huge success, and this didn’t happen only with Siddhu Jonnalagadda. The success rate of Tollywood is also very low in recent times. Only a few films became successes, and the remaining ones bit the dust.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s shoot is also set to start all over again. The film, which was originally planned as the remake of Kollywood blockbuster Theri has changed its story as per sources. So, Pawan Kalyan must allot more dates for Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Audience waits eagerly – Will Kuberaa deliver?

0

Kuberaa starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna is slated for release on 20th June worldwide. The film faced a big competition with Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan, which fixed its release date on June 12th. However, as the film was recently postponed, Kuberaa breathed a sigh of relief. The expectations are now high on Kuberaa which will be a solo release.

Recently released exciting films didn’t do well at the box office, disappointing the audience. But Kuberaa looks to make the wait worthwhile. It could post big numbers at the box office if it gets a positive word of mouth and response.

The Trailer of the film is set to release soon. The Trailer will surely play a key role here. The film has all the chances of grossing more than 100 crores gross in Telugu version if the Trailer raises the expectations, paving the way for a positive word of mouth.

Tollywood’s move to settle disputes

0

It is widely known that for a few months or even years, the Telugu film industry has been dealing with the issues between distributors and producers. Tollywood announces a new committee as a part of the move to settle disputes.

Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce announces a 30-member committee

To resolve the longstanding problem between producers and exhibitors, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has announced the formation of a 30-member committee. This decision was taken during the executive committee meeting held in Visakhapatnam on May 30.

The newly formed committee includes representatives from the three sections of the Telugu film industry — producers, exhibitors, and distributors. It will stress the ongoing issues, most notably the exhibitors’ demand for a share/percentage in box office revenues over the traditional rental model.

Committee Members List:

Tollywood announces a new committee as a part of the move to settle disputes between exhibitors and producers, and the committee members include Chairman P. Bharath Bhushan, K. L. Damodar Prasad, Dil Raju, N. Sudhakar Reddy, D. Suresh Babu, Sunil Narang, T. Prasanna Kumar, C. Kalyan, Ravi Shankar Yellamanchili, DVV Danayya, Swapna Dutt, Supriya Yarlagadda, Vijayender Reddy, and Bala Govind Raj, among others.

The issue between exhibitors and producers escalated in recent days, and there was even the thought of a theatrical shutdown from June 1, which was later dismissed by producers like Dil Raju and Allu Aravind.

Unexpectedly, this whole issue was linked with Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which was scheduled to be released on 12 June 2025, but the film was postponed from that date.

Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja 4K Success Boosts Athadu 4K Demand

0

Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja 4K version was re-released on the occasion of the legendary Superstar Krishna’s birth anniversary, and it achieved astonishing success. Now, Khaleja’s 4K success boosts Athadu’s 4K demand.

Upon its re-release, the film collected on par with Murari 4K and emerged as the top grosser in re-released films, even though it had a limited release in Andhra Pradesh. The trend of rereleases has seen many successful films from Mahesh.

Athadu 4K Demaind Raises After Khaleja 4K’s Success

However, the most awaited re-release for Mahesh fans and audiences is Athadu. The classic film directed by Trivikram will be re-released on Mahesh Babu’s birthday this year. Already there is a big demand for the film’s re-release on screen.

But Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja 4K success boosts Athadu 4K demand to the next level. In every area many distributors are asking for the rights, and they are even offering outright deals, according to the reports.

Athadu is a way bigger film than Khaleja, and mainly it is rereleasing on Mahesh’s birthday, so everyone expects never-before-seen numbers for this rerelease.
