Pushpa 2 not trending globally on Netflix

Pushpa 2 became a big box office blockbuster worldwide grossing more than 1800 crores. The film is also equally popular across the Indian film industry and developed a cult following as well. The film streamed on Netflix after its theatrical release and it was also expected to trend for many weeks globally. But on its 4th week, i.e., (16th February – 23rd February) the film hasn’t listed itself in the Top 10 Global Non-English films list.

Recent Indian films such as Dhoom Dhaam starring Yami Gautham in its 2nd week and Daaku Maharaaj starring Balakrishna in its 1st week of their entry on Netflix listed themselves in Top 10 list globally this week. In India, Daaku Maharaaj has trended at Top 4th position this week. In total, in 4 countries, the film has managed to trend in Top 10 which include Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, and India.

But Pushpa 2 has put a record viewership initially on Netflix. The OTT plaform has also added the English version and other International language versions, but this didn’t work out as the film didn’t get record viewership when looked at the stats.
