Run – First Ever Telugu Film by Aha

Allu Aravind’s OTT platform “AHA” is coming up with exclusive Telugu content ever since it is launched. AHA team has announced their first-ever Telugu original OTT film which is first of its kind in Tollywood.

“Run” which is a psychological thriller is directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna that stars Navadeep and Pujita Ponnada. Initially the director thought to make this content as a web series with 8 episodes. But after the pre-production work, the creative team at Aha along with Allu Aravind has suggested him to make it as a direct film. After 3 months of its pre-production work Run was completely shot within 24 days itself. It is planned to release in the month of March, but due to lockdown the post-production work got delayed. Now it is all set to stream from 29th May on “Aha”. This exclusive film was produced by director Krish and Rajeev under First Frame Entertainments.

Uppena Production Cost Shocks Industry People

According to our sources this film production cost was close to 30Crs which became double than expected. This is due to climax which will be completely unique and the team has lost nearly 1-hour footage. This film has generated a good buzz with songs that were composed by rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. This film is directed by Bucchi Babu and Produced under Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

Dil Raju to remake hit film

Dil Raju who is one of the leading producers in Tollywood always comes up with interesting subjects and combinations. It’s a common practice of remaking hit films in any industry and Dil Raju is now concentrating on acquiring rights.

Already Dil Raju along with Allu Aravind has announced that they are remaking Nani’s hit film “Jersey” in Bollywood. Now as per industry buzz Dil Raju has acquired Viswak Sen’s “HIT” film which is produced by Nani. HIT film was directed by Sailesh Kolanu and the story sitting has begun to make much more intriguing with suspense elements. Dil Raju also planned to remake his hit films F2 and Yevadu in Bollywood but there is no official announcement regarding this. Dil Raju is currently producing VTheMovie, Vakeel Saab, and Seenayya.

Coronavirus outbreak has paused all the ongoing activities across various industries and many film shoots have been stopped before the lockdown itself. After almost 2 months the central government has given rights to state governments for exceptions.

Recently Chiranjeevi held a meeting with Telangana CM KCR. The government has permitted to resume film and TV shoots for June 1st week. Filmmakers are planning to resume shoot with limited crew members and priority. Chiranjeevi’s Acharya which left out with more than 50% shoot to start their shoot first may be from mid-June. Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab which is on its final stage is planning to start their shoot in July 1st week if the cast members come back to Hyderabad. There is no information regarding RRR shoot as Rajamouli wants to change the schedules according to the cast and crew members. As Rajamouli said the scenes which require the least number of crew numbers to be shot first. There are many guidelines by the government to film makers and the challenging one is to track every individual person who attends the shoot.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Creative director Sukumar has teamed up for the third time for Pushpa. Both of them have scored blockbusters with their previous films Ala VaikunthapuramuLoo and Rangasthalam.

Pushpa is a hig budget Pan India film which is yet to start its shoot. As part of the pre-production works casting of the film is still going on. There a news surfing on social media that Anchor Suma has been roped in for a crucial role in Pushpa. Sukumar previously roped anchor Anasuya which was acclaimed by audience and critics. We at TrackTollywod have got clarification from team Puspha that they haven’t contacted Suma for any role in their film and further details will be announced soon. Rashmika is the lead actress in this film and Devi Sri Prasad is composing music. Mythri Movie Makers along with Mutham Shetty Media is jointly producing this film. Amrutham2 new episodes set to release

Amrutham is one the evergreen comedy serial which is completely made by Telugu makers. This serial has been telecasted on ETV from 2001 to 2007 with 313 episodes. Later is re-telecasted several times on ETV Network channels. A few months back this serial rights have been bagged by Zee Network.

The sequel of Amrutham has been announced and started rolling out on the Zee5 OTT Platform. The first 3 episodes of Amrutham2 have been released in March, and the makers are releasing 2 special episodes on 27th May which were completely shot in their houses during the lockdown. The makers also revealed that there are a total of 24 episodes and 3 episodes will be released every month after lockdown. The first three episodes haven’t reached the expectations, maybe as they were introduction episodes. Hope rest episodes come up with much more fun elements.

Director Sukumar woking on another film

Creative director Sukumar who is well known for his screenplay is now working on another project. As we know that director Sukumar has teamed up with Allu Arjun for Pushpa which is yet to go on sets.

Now Sukumar who gave story for Uppena and directed by Sukumar’s assistant Buchi Babu. This film wrapped it’s shoot and was scheduled to release on April 2nd. Due to lockdown the films release was put on hold. As this is debut film for Sai Dharam Tej’s brother Vaisshav Tej Sukku taking extra care of the project. Sukumar has started editing this film to make it more riveting. This film co-stars young actress Kriti Shetty and Tamil star Vijay Sathupathi. This film will hit screens post lockdown. Uppena is being produced under Mythri Movie Makers along with Sukumar Writings with a whopping budget.
