Another mega update for fans: Megastar’s vintage look

On the occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the first look of his 154th film has been revealed. The poster features Chiranjeevi in a massy look. Clad in a lungi, smoking a beedi amidst the sea backdrop, it appears that Megastar is playing an out-and-out mass role.

The look of Chiranjeevi reminds us of his vintage look in Mutha Mestri, Gharana Mogudu, Rowdy Alludu, etc. The look has received a roaring success so far with fans calling it a great return gift for them.

A die-hard fan of Chiranjeevi, Bobby has penned a powerful script for the megastar and it will be made on a grand scale. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film under Mythri Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music for the film.

KGF: Chapter 2 in theatres in April

Finally, the suspense over the release of Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash came to an end. The movie will be hitting the screens worldwide on 14th April 2022. The director shared this update with fans and said, ”

“The uncertainties of today will only delay our resolve, but the eventuality is as promised. We will be out in theaters on April 14th 2022. #KGF2onApr14“. The director further shared a new poster of the film that featured the entire cast of the action thriller.

This action thriller, a sequel to the KGF: Chapter 1 stars Sanjay Dutt, Rao Ramesh, Prakash Raj, and Raveena Tandon in key roles. Prashanth Neel has directed this pan-India film while Hombale Films are producing it. KGF: Chapter 2 has music scored by Ravi Basrur whose music and BGM played a massive role in the first installment’s success.

Kota Srinivasa Rao recalls Balakrishna’s outrageous behaviour

Kota Srinivasa Rao is one of the senior-most and well-respected actors in Tollywood. The senior character actor has given many memorable performances in a career spanning over 4 decades. The actor however in a recent television interview recalled an incident that shocked him and many around him. The incident featured none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna who spat on the his face in a hotel lobby.

Reportedly, Balakrishna was unhappy with Kota Srinivasa Rao portraying NTR’s role in the controversial film Mandaladheesudu. The movie projected NTR, who was the then CM in a negative shade and it was not taken well by Balakrishna.

Recalling the incident, Kota said that he came face to face with Balayya in a hotel lobby and when he greeted the actor, he spat on his face and left the place.

Interestingly, Kota in the same interview revealed that when he came face to face with NTR back then, the latter patted on his back and appreciated his work.

This incident now joins a list of outrageous acts by the mercurial Balayya who is well known for his temper and aggressive actions.

Fans all set for Mega Wave today

Every year Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday is celebrated with great fervour within the industry as well as among the fans. This year is going to be extra special as there are going to be a mega wave of updates on Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film.

The first of these updates is that Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film with Mohan Raja has been titled Godfather. This is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer starring Mohanlal. There are reports that Bollywood star Salman Khan will feature in a cameo role in this film. Salman’s role was played Prithviraj in the original who also directed Lucifer.

Apart from this, there is going to be an update of the Chiranjeevi-Bobby film. Tentatively titled Chiru154. This film’s major update will be revealed at 4:05 PM today. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this film and Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll the project.

A major update was already revealed this morning by Superstar Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming project with Meher Ramesh has been titled Bhola Shankar.

As a part of Mega birthday celebrations, for the first time, a common motion poster has been revealed for Chiranjeevi’s birthday.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 66th birthday and on the occasion, a barrage of updates are on the way for fans. One of these updates was the title unveiling of Chiru 155 by Superstar Mahesh Babu. Meher Ramesh will be directing this movie and it’s titled Bhola Shankar.

Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to wish the Indra actor on his birthday and unveiled the first glimpse of Bhola Shankar. The film is said to be a mass entertainer and will be produced by Anil Sunkara.

This is the first time that the actor-director duo is collaborating on a film. Meher Ramesh will return to direction after 8 years. Other details are still awaited. The film will go on floors once Chiranjeevi wraps up Godfather, a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer starring Mohanlal.

The new luxurious superplex will be located in Financial District in Hyderabad. Bangarraju joins the Sankranti race

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer Bangarraju has become the latest film to join the Sankranti race. The film’s puja ceremony took place in Hyderabad yesterday. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, the film is a prequel to Nagarjuna’s 2016 film Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Ramya Krishna will once again make a return from the original along with Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna will play the double role while this time, the movie will have Krithi Shetty as well. The film will be a socio- fantasy drama and similar in the genre of Soggade Chinni Nayana.

The Sankranti race is already quite heated up with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vari Paata, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak and Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam already in the fray. Along with these biggies, Venkatesh and Varun Tej starter F3 and Vijay’s Beast will also release during the same time.

Anup Rubens will compose Bangarraju’s music. Bangarraju will be produced under Nagarjuna’s home banner, Annapurna Studios.

Nani’s Tuck Jagdish OTT release has created a sensation in Tollywood. Post the announcement, Nani penned a heartful note on social media. The Natural Star mentioned that theatre was his only priority and releasing his movie in OTT was never an option. However, the decision to go for OTT has come in as a rude shock to the actor. Many reports are emerging that the deal was made behind the actor and that he had no idea of the OTT release.

There are other reports emerging that a top producer is behind this secret deal. The producer holds a substantial space and power in Tollywood. The producer in question wanted to nip his ex-partner who is associated with Tuck Jagdish. To do so, the producer used his power and has reportedly forced the makers to go for an OTT deal. In return for this, this top producer has offered Shine Screen, the makers of Tuck Jagdish with a crazy combination of Balakrishna – Anil Ravipudi.

With so much running in the background one can’t help but sympathize with Nani and his fans who have been waiting for the movie since April.

Love Story to be postponed again?

After much delay, the makers of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Love Story announced a release date recently. The movie will have a grand release on September 10th. However, just when things were looking good, a new issue has now cropped up.

The AP government has extended the restrictions in Andhra Pradesh till 4th September. The makers expected the restrictions to be eased. However, with that not happening, the producers are having worrying times as it might get extended to the coming week as well. Adding to this, the lack of clarity on the ticket issue is causing further concerns to the team.

The makers of Love Story have also expressed their dissent over Nani’s Tuck Jagadish releasing on OTT on the same day. Producer Sunil Narang made a big statement in front of the media yesterday expressing his dissatisfaction with this move.

With so many problems arising and theatrical release being the only option for Love Story now, the makers are not willing to risk anything. They are ready to wait out further in case the issues are not resolved. This means further delay for the release is still an option they can explore now.

Koratala not listening to Chiranjeevi

The uncertain conditions in Tollywood and lockdown delays to films have caused major last-minute changes to shoots and releases. Acharya is one of the films which has faced the maximum impact of these delays. These delays have caused major problems to both Koratala Siva and Megastar Chiranjeevi. With the major cause of problems being the release date.

Koratala is apparently fixated on a Sankranti release and wants to join the festive season. The director wants to release the movie in the fruitful festive season as he himself has invested a lot in the movie. He has even planned to meet the Bheemla Nayak producers in a couple of days.

There are reports in the industry that Koratala has settled all the investments of Matinee Entertainments. Along with that, he has also settled the remunerations of both Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. Post the release Chiranjeevi will have a share in profits.

Chiranjeevi on the other hand wants to stick to the October 13th date as others have already announced the Sankranti date before him. The climax on this difference of opinions between the director and Megastar hopefully will come to an end once Chianjeevi meets AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy.
