Posani’s house attacked by unidentified men

Two unidentified men attacked the house of actor Posani Krishna Murali in Hyderabad. The men, who came on a motorbike, threw stones on the actor’s house in Yellareddyguda for questioning Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan for criticizing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

According to workers at the actor’s house, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. A woman said the attackers used abusive words against Posani while throwing stones and pieces of bricks on the main gate.

On their complaint, a case was registered at SR Nagar police station. Police took up the investigation. Policemen were also deployed at the actor’s house as a precautionary measure.

Posani alleged that fans of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan were behind the attack on his house. He said he was being targetted for questioning the Jana Sena leader for criticizing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The latest incident occurred two days after Posaini’s press conference at the press club where he used strong language against the ‘Powerstar’. Posani meanwhile had said that if anything happens to him, Pawan Kalyan will be responsible.

Post the event a case was registered against him by Janasena activists at the Punjagutta police station. The party members have further requested the press club to boycott any further meetings and press conferences called by Posani in the future.

Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming film starring Thalapathy Vijay is going to be a big-budget commercial extravaganza. Speculations over this combo were on for quite some time. Titled Thalapathy 66, the ‘Maharshi’ director said that Vijay’s straight Telugu debut is indeed going to be a memorable one.

“The biggest project of my career will commence soon after the Covid curve flattens. Dil Raju will bankroll the project and Thalapathy Vijay will feature in it. We haven’t announced it yet due to the Covid situation,” Vamshi said.

Thalapathy 66 will be a bilingual that will be simultaneously made on Tamil and Telugu. This will be a pan- India project and the first time Vijay will be filming a direct Telugu film. Kiara Advani is in talks for the lead. If this indeed materializes, it will be a big moment for the actress who is already a part for Shankar- Ram Charan’s RC15

The scripting of this commercial entertainer in its final stage. Dil Raju will be producing the project under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie will go on floors once the pandemic eases. Meanwhile, Vijay will be next seen in Thalapathy 65 directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. He will be paired opposite Pooja Hegde for the first time in this film.

The trailer launch of Most Eligible Bachelor was held at Hyderabad earlier today and saw the entire unit in its presence. Speaking at the event, producer Allu Aravind stated that the Telugu audience has taught an important lesson to entire Indian movie lovers today. He was referring to the love the audience has showered on the recent releases.

Allu Aravind on the occasion also made a humble request to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy. “There are so many issues plaguing the Telugu film industry. I urge Jaganmohan Reddy to protect the industry the way he has protected the state,” he said.

He also urged the CM to take a look at the plight of the yet-to-be-released films that have been in waiting for a long time. “If he (the CM) wishes then there is definitely no reason issues can’t be addressed,” he pointed.

Most Eligible Bachelor stars Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film is all set to release on 15th October.

Allu Aravind also expressed his confidence in the success of the film “This is just a pre-pre release event. We will also have a pre-release event and later the success meet! That is my confidence on the subject,” declared the senior producer.

Most Eligible Bachelor trailer: Will he score this time?

Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor’s trailer dropped in a while ago. GA2 Pictures shared the trailer on social media stating
“Hope you fall in love to celebrate each other”.

Most Eligible Bachelor features a bunch of actresses in cameos and might give you a sense of deja vu. The plot looks routine and something that we have seen Akhil doing time and again. Pooja Hegde is playing a stand-up comedian in the film while Akhil is playing a successful working professional with an assumed clarity on life.

Pooja Hegde and Akhil’s chemistry has been well appreciated for its freshness. The film also features Murali Sharma, Jaya Prakash, Aamani in key roles. It also features Esha Rebba and Faria Abdullah in cameo appearances.

Bommarillu Bhaskar is directing this movie and Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma are bankrolling this project under GA2 pictures. The music is scored by Gopi Sunder and the songs released till now are already performing great.

Republic pre-release business details

Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic will hit the screens tomorrow however, the movie is carrying quite a low buzz and needs some major catching up. Sai Dharam Tej is playing the role of a District Collector Abhiram Panja.

The film will be an action-packed commentary on the Indian democratic system and how politicians yield supreme power over the civil servants and courts. Ramya Krishna is seen playing the role of a politician while Aishwarya Rajesh plays Sai Dharam Tej’s love interest.

Republic has done a worldwide business of Rs 12 cores and a blockbuster talk is much required in order to achieve a safe ground. The Andhra rights have gone for Rs 5 crores (ratio) while the Nizam region has fetched the makers Rs 3.5 crores. The Ceded region rights have gone for an amount of Rs 2.5 crores while the ROW stands at Rs 1 crore.

Looks like Pawan Kalyan’s open war against the AP government on the tickets and other TFI issues has got few supporters now. Days after the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce released a statement distancing themselves from Powerstar’s statements, a delegation of Tollywood producers met AP I&PR Minister Perni Nani.

A delegation comprising of Dil Raju, DVV Danayya, Bunny Vas, Sunil Narang and Mythri Naveen among others met the minister to discuss various issues. Post the meeting Perni Nani spoke to the media over the happenings of the meetings.

“Recently an actor from the industry made some misplaced statements despite government supporting the cine family. It is unfortunate. The film industry has made clear that the industry doesn’t relate to the statement made by that actors. These unfortunate statements should not have been made is what the general consensus is,” said the minister hinting at Pawan Kalyan’s statements.

He further added that the industry is providing online ticketing inputs and other issues and problems of the industry to the government. “Along with this various industry issues have been bright to the government’s notice and we will definitely look to resolve it,” he added.

“Chiranjeevi garu called me to express his displeasure at the recent happenings and asked me to ignore negativity and help the industry,” concluded the I&PR minister.
