Prabhas launches Akash Puri’s Romantic trailer

Young hero Akash Puri romances spicy siren Ketika Sharma in the upcoming romantic drama Romantic. The Romantic trailer of the movie was launched by Prabhas earlier today. Anil Paduri has directed this film and it’s all set for a grand release worldwide on the 29th of this month

True to the title, the Romantic trailer is full of romantic scenes between the lead pair and they shared sizzling chemistry. The film explores the line between love and physical attraction between a young couple.

Akash’s character name is Vasco and Ketika Sharma is playing Monika. The couple enjoys their romantic moments together and later for some reason get caught in the police angle. Ramya Krishna is playing a police officer role in the film.

The trailer is bold and has plenty of romantic scenes between the lead pair. Overall, the Romantic Trailer is packed with adequate elements for youth. It indeed hikes prospects on the film. Puri Jagannadh along with Charmme Kaur is producing ‘Romantic’ under Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects banners.

Manchu Vishnu reveals truth about Pawan Kalyan

Manchu Vishnu is on cloud nine after winning the MAA Elections. The new President of the Tollywood movie actors’ body has been making multiple public appearances and addressing media back to back. One such event was the recently held Alai Balai. The event saw the presence of Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu along with other political leaders of the national and state level.

Interestingly, the highlight of the event was the presence of Pawan Kalyan. Vishnu was seated right next to Pawan on the stage. However, much to everyone’s surprise Pawan didn’t even acknowledge Vishnu’s presence. This again led to multiple news reports and trolls on Vishnu.

Vishnu on the other hand responded to these reports with a statement that due to protocol he didn’t talk to Pawan Kalyan and that all is well between them. The new MAA President event stated that Pawan had asked him to take good care of MAA and that they both even had a conversation off the stage.

To substantiate this claim, Vishnu shared a video on Twitter with the comment: “What really went down”. In the video, both Pawan and Vishnu can be seen having a jovial conversation.

Interestingly, just a few days ago the Manchu family chose not to invite Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan for the oath-taking ceremony. Vishnu even spoke at the event about how the Megastar requested him to stand down from elections as he was supporting Prakash Raj.

‘You will love Ananya Pandey in Liger’: Vijay Devarakonda

Ever since the movie’s announcement, not much has been revealed about Ananya Pandey in Liger. Most of the promotional content has been around Vijay and even Mike Tyson’s cameo. Vijay Devarakonda, however, in a recent interview with a Bollywood portal gave a sneak-peek about Ananya Pandey in Liger.

“Everyone’s doing their job and everyone’s working hard because they want their career to be successful. Coming to Ananya, she has done a splendid job in the film. Everyone’s going to love her when they watch what she’s done,” stated Vijay.

Vijay Deverakonda appears in a completely new makeover and underwent training in mixed martial arts in this sports action thriller. The film will have some high octane fight sequences and Vijay is playing an MMA fighter’s role.

The film is being produced jointly by Bollywood’s leading production house Dharma Productions, In association with Puri connects. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film.

Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy play prominent roles in Liger which is being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Excited for my Tollywood debut: Iswarya Menon

The makers of Nikhil Siddhartha’s next film announced the lead cast recently. Tamil actress Iswarya Menon will be making her Tollywood debut with the film. The film is a spy thriller and the actress is excited and raring to go on sets for the film.

“I’m glad that the entire team wanted me to come on board. The fact that the film is a spy action thriller, a genre that I haven’t worked on earlier, makes it even more exciting,” said Iswarya.

The actress had earlier appeared in a small cameo role in Siddharth’s Love Failure back in 2013. She has been working since in the Tamil and Malayalam industries. Iswarya also has a considerable following on social media with 2.5 million followers on Instagram. This will be the official debut as a lead actress.

“I’m optimistic that Telugu audiences will welcome me. I don’t have any set plans and just want to go with the flow for now. The language is new to me, but I am excited to learn it,” she added.

Trisha signs her first Telugu web series

Trisha is all set to star in a Telugu web series soon. The actress has just signed an investigative thriller web series Brinda for Sony Liv. The show will be made in Telugu and will be dubbed into other languages as well and Surya Vangala will direct it.

Trisha took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she had started shooting for the web series. The show was launched on October 15 with a special pooja. The unit of Brinda also made the announcement on social media.

“Welcome onboard our Brinda Miss: Trisha Krishnan and Stories and team,” read the post.

The actress is currently busy with a bunch of Tamil and Malayalam projects. She recently wrapped up Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and is co-starring alongside Mohanlal in the Malayalam film ‘Ram’.

The actress has got projects lined up in all the four South Indian languages over the next year and is now on a signing spree. Coming to Brinda, the investigative thriller will feature Sai Kumar, Amani, Indrajith Sukumaran and Ravindra Vijay among others.

Warangal Srinu acquires AP/TG rights of two upcoming films

Warangal Srinu is one of the fast-emerging distributors in Tollywood. He has made his mark in a short span of time by bagging the rights of some biggies and surprising many.

He started his journey as a distributor with Vishal’s film Action and has later distributed few blockbuster films in the Nizam area. Now he has a lot of projects lined up as distributor after getting a blockbuster this year with Krack. Recently he acquired the Nizam rights of Acharya, Sreekaram, Check, Naandi and Seetimaar.

Now Warangal Srinu has acquired the AP and Telangana rights to two more Tollywood upcoming films. The first is Akash Puri starter Romantic which also features Ketika Sharma. The second film in line is the Telugu version of Vishal and Arya starter action thriller Enemy.

The Nizam-based distributor is also planning to turn producer soon. According to reports he is planning a project with a star hero and further details will be revealed soon.
