Shyam Singha Roy Certified With UA

The much-awaited Nani starrer Shyam Singh Roy has been certified with UA by the Central Board Of Film Certification(CBFC). The certification of the film was done on 13th December 2021, well in advance of its release date.

Set in the backdrop of Kolkata, Shyam Singha Roy is a supernatural romantic thriller based on reincarnations. The movie focuses on the different shades played by Nani. The common theme among all of them seems to be women.

The Telugu audience has already seen several movies revolving around reincarnations, Magadheera and Eega being the most noted ones. Interestingly, Nani has also done a reincarnation role in Eega.

This is Nani’s first theatrical release in 2 years, his previous one being the 2019 released Gang Leader. His previous film releases have been on OTT and have failed to entertain the audience.

Shyam Singha Roy has been certified with UA, with a runtime of 2 hours and 37 minutes.

So far, there have been mostly positive vibes surrounding the film. The pre-release business of the movie has also been outstanding.

However, it is ultimately the theatrical business of the movie that will matter. It is extremely important for the film to open a positive note. The makers will be hoping to make back most of the money spent in the first week itself.

This is also Nani’s first multi-lingual release and will be a litmus test for future Pan-Indian projects for Nani. The Natural star also has a bunch of interesting projects lined up after this.

The movie is all set for a release on 24th December 2021 in theatres. The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian in prominent roles. Rahul Sankrityan is the director of the movie.

Pushpa Success Meet Location And Date Confirmed

Pushpa grand success meet’s Location and Date have been confirmed. Pushpa which was released in theatres on 17th December 2021 opened to monstrous collections at the box office.

The film collected a mind-bending 60 crores in gross on its opening day. It has already crossed the 100 crore mark on the second day and is showing no signs of stopping. The film has received a tremendous response from the Telugu as well as non-Telugu states.

The film has opened to amazing numbers in the North Belts as well as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Pushpa-The Rise is the highest-grossing film on its opening day in 2021, beating Thalapathy Vijay’s Master, Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Spiderman-No Way Home as well.

There is still a long way to go to achieve blockbuster status, but going by the reports the movie will easily achieve blockbuster status at this pace.

To celebrate this monstrous start at the box office, the makers have planned a success meet in Tirupathi on 20th December. Information regarding the venue will be out very soon.

Fans have been going crazy over Allu Arjun’s raw and rustic performance as Pushpa Raj. His dedication and hard work for this role have finally paid off. Allu Arjun has yet again justified his tag as Icon Star. He has proved that he is highly capable of pulling off a non-stylish role.

Pushpa-The Rise also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil among others. Sukumar has directed the film, and Mythri Movies has produced the film.

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is creating collections records at the box office. The film has been registering great footfalls and occupancies in most of the areas. The unit of Pushpa is elated at this response and they can’t stop beaming at the way people have welcomed the film with open arms.

The team is now busy giving promotional interviews. At one such interview, director Sukumar was posed with a tricky question. Sukumar known for being a smart conversationalist answered the question in his own style. Sukumar was asked if Pushpa was the same story that was narrated to Mahesh, which couldn’t materialize due to creative differences.

The creative director answered that the two stories are quite similar but at the same time quite different. Mahesh- Sukumar film was announced much to fans’ excitement and later had to be shelved due to creative differences. Since then the fans have been wondering if Pushpa was the same story that Mahesh walked out of.

While Sukumar has confirmed that the plots are quite similar to each other, it appears that the characterization has been changed keeping in Allu Arjun’s look and style. Both the plots were based on the red sandalwood smuggling backdrop and Sukumar has done a great job with handling the new characterization and presented Bunny in a never before avataar.

Magadheera, which was released in 2009 is a period action drama based around the concept of reincarnations. When the movie was released, it shocked the Telugu audience. No one had seen such a movie come out of the Telugu film industry before this.

Even after 12 years, Magadheera is still celebrated to this day. Be it the action scenes, the emotional dialogues, or the unique hero elevations, it was done to perfection.

Recently in an episode of Unstoppable with NBK with Rajamouli, the RRR director revealed that he had first approached Balakrishna to play the main lead in Magadheera.

Rajamouli said that he had narrated the story of Magadheera originally to Balakrishna, at the time of Chatrapathi.

In fact, Ram Charan was the third option. Rajamouli had also narrated the script to Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi after Simhadri. But the project happened with Ram Charan after 5 years.

Ram Charan absolutely stole the show in Magadheera but it would’ve been interesting to see what Balakrishna would’ve done with the role. Magadheera was a career-defining role for Ram Charan.

Telugu movie lovers can only hope that the two powerhouses of Telugu cinema work together at some point. The last time we saw Balakrishna in a period drama was Gautamiputra Satakarni, which received an underwhelming response.

Rajamouli is currently busy with the promotions of his magnum opus RRR, with Ram Charan, JR.NTR, Alia Bhatt. He has been visiting city after city to promote the movie on a large scale. They are in Mumbai for a grand event as we speak.

It is a known fact that Superstar Mahesh Babu is going to collaborate with ace director Trivikram soon. The Mahesh- Trivikram film’s official announcement was made earlier this year and fans’ excitement now knows no bounds.

Amidst this excitement, a rumour started doing rounds that the film has been shelved. There is absolutely no truth to it and the movie is well on its track. The movie presently is in its pre-production stage.

This will be the third film for Mahesh-Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. The makers of the film, Haarika and Haasine Creations made an official announcement on this earlier this year much to the excitement of the movie lovers.

Pooja Hegde will be playing the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu while Lavanya Tripathi or Ritu Varma will be seen as the second lead.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is all set to be the next celebrity guest on Balakrishna’s Unstoppable. The ‘Krack’ actor will come in as the next celebrity guest on the show along with Gopichand Malineni. The film is based on the reincarnation theme and the recently released trailer has heightened the expectations on the film.

The film is made on a massive scale and is Nani’s costliest film so far in terms of budget. Director Rahul Sankrityan recently revealed that Shyam Singha Roy is made on a budget of about Rs 60 crores.

Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy set in Kolkata explores the theme of reincarnation. The makers left no stone unturned to ensure the movie gets a grand look. For this purpose, a lavish set was also erected in the city outskirts. It is reported that the set cost the makers a whopping Rs 6.5 crores and was spread across 10 acres.

Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty will be seen opposite Nani. After successive OTT releases such as V and Tuck Jagadish, this will be Nani’s first theatrical release.

Bankrolled under Niharika Entertainment banner, Mickey J Meyer will be composing music for this supernatural thriller. The film will also have the additional cast of Madonna Sebastian and Murali Sharma in key roles.

SS Rajamouli to present Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra in southern languages

Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt has got a massive boost. The superhero film which is directed by Ayan Mukherjee will be presented by SS Rajamouli in the southern languages.

Brahmastra has been in making for quite some time and the anticipation has now risen to great heights with this interesting announcement. SS Rajamouli made this announcement at a glittering Telugu motion poster launch event held in Hyderabad earlier today.

Karan Johar, whose Dharma Productions is producing this big-budget extravaganza had announced this film way back in 2017.
