Actress Hamsa Nandini diagnosed with Cancer

Tollywood actress Hamsa Nandini took to social media to share the news of her cancer diagnosis with her fans. The actress who is usually quite active on social media has been away for almost 4-5 months due to her treatment. Taking to social media, she shared a picture of hers and said that diagnosed with a Grade III Invasive Carcinoma (Breast Cancer).

The actress had lost her mother 18 years ago to the same ailment and said that the cancer was hereditary and 4 months back the tumour was removed. Cancer, however, relapsed, and currently, she has undergone 9 cycles of Chemotherapy with 7 more to go.

“My inboxes are full with your messages enquiring about my absence. To you all, I would like to say a big thank you for your love and concern which has kept me going through this ordeal. I assure you that I am under the care of an exceptional team of doctors. This along with the unbridled support of my Family, Friends, and the Film Fraternity, I’m putting up a spirited fight with a dense dose of Positivity and Gratitude.

Buzz: Sarkaru Vaari Paata release date Postponement update soon

Fans are eagerly waiting for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The hype for the movie is growing day by day especially after Mahesh’s recent statement that the film will have Pokiri vibes and will have a lot of high-octane action sequences and moments for fans.

This is terrific news for movie lovers eager to catch vintage Mahesh on screen. However, there’s also a buzz doing rounds that the movie’s release date might be postponed by a few weeks. An official update on the same will come out soon.

The reason for this is that Mahesh Babu will not be available till February due to his knee surgery. There are also a few reshoots happening with other cast members and Parasuram is taking utmost care to ensure the best possible output comes out. Both Mahesh and Parasuram are not taking any chances on the quality.

Due to all these factors, Sarkaru Vaari Paata might be moving to April 29th. The makers are planning premiers premiers for April 28th which coincides with the Pokiri release date.

AP Government passes G.O to take complete control of ticket sales

The AP government has taken the decision over the movie tickets issue and released GO 142. According to GO, movie ticket sales will go to the government, which handed over the responsibility of selling movie tickets online to APFDC (Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation).

This online ticketing system will be available soon and the infrastructure and other SOPs are getting ready for the same. The government will set up a special system similar to IRCTC for the sale of movie tickets.

The ticket pricing issue has been heating up for the past few months. Tollywood bigwigs have been holding constant meetings with CM Jaganmohan Reddy and minister Perni Nani seeking relief.

The theater owners had earlier approached the High Court challenging the earlier G.O 35. This G.O enabled the government to fix the ticket rates as per its discretion. The court ruled in favour of the theatre owners and scrapped the G.O

The AP government in return had challenged these orders. The lawyers for the government have argued that raising ticket prices at will is a burden on the common man while the theater owners argue that government interference in the movie business is inappropriate.

Now with G.O 142 coming into action, it needs to be seen what impact it creates on the Tollywood box office.

Pushpa Hindi trending better than KGF

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is doing wonders at the box office. The film opened to mixed talk and average reviews. This, however, didn’t stop the movie from putting massive figures through the first weekend. 

Pushpa is not just doing great in Telugu, but also in its Hindi version across the north market. In the process, this Allu Arjun starter has outperformed KGF which also was a massive success in the Hindi market. KGF’s 1st weekend in Hindi raked in a net of Rs 9 cr while Pushpa has already breached the Rs 10 cr mark for the opening weekend.

This action entertainer directed by Sukumar had a phenomenal Sunday with great occupancy and footfalls in the north and is all set to put up impressive numbers with just the Hindi version.

Coming to the Telugu version, Pushpa has already established many all-time records including the opening day Nizam record. The film has surpassed Prabhas’ Saaho to set this benchmark.

Pushpa-The Rise is the highest-grossing film on its opening day in 2021, beating Thalapathy Vijay’s Master, Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.

Salman Khan announces Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan has made a sensational announcement. The ‘Antim’ actor announced that there will indeed be a Bollywood sequel for the 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie will be written by K Vijayendra Prasad, the father of ace director SS Rajamouli.
