Investor Approves Dhruva Natchathiram

Gautam Menon and Chiyaan Vikram’s Dhruva Natchahitram has been a long-delayed film due to various reasons. The makers announced several dates, only to postpone the film. Now, the latest report says that an investor approves Dhruva Natchathiram’s release.

“Only after the release of the film will I do my next work.” I haven’t even signed anything in acting as well. We’ve shown the film to the investor & he said the film is good. We are sorting out the legal issues now. July/August release for sure.”

As said above, Dhruva Natchathiram has been postponed for a long time since its first announcement in 2013. After facing several financial issues, the film still awaits a theatrical release. Now, GVM brings the good news that an investor approves Dhruva Natchathiram’s release.

Dhruva Natchathiram was about to release on November 24, but it was stopped because of a court order the day before, which required him to pay 2.40 crores by 10:30 in the morning to ensure the movie could be released smoothly. 

The action-drama features Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role, while Vinayakan, Ritu Varma, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Simran, Maya S. Krishnan, and Parthiban play supporting roles. The music for the movie was composed by Harris Jayaraj.

Throughout May, 1win took the roads of India with a mission: to bring IPL 2025 thrills to the cricket fans, even in the country’s distant corners. As part of a nationwide roadshow, the brand visited multiple cities and towns on the way from Mumbai to New Delhi with a fleet of branded trucks, entertaining fan zones, and a caravan of local influencers.

Indian artists Surbhi Jyoti and Vishal Pandey joined the ride, lighting up each destination with their charm, humor, and love for cricket. Together with local influencers, they shared stories, cheered for their favorite teams, and brought smiles to thousands of fans.

“Cricket is something we all connect over, and this roadshow by 1win made that connection feel even more special. I loved seeing how excited people were when the trucks arrived—it was pure magic,” said Vishal Pandey.

Along the long road from Mumbai to New Delhi, 1win’s blue trucks made more than just a journey—they delivered the joy of watching the 2025 Indian Premier League. Each stop along the route transformed into a vibrant celebration, complete with live screenings, cricket-themed games, giveaways, and surprise celebrity visits.

In the evening, 1win turned trucks into open-air cinemas, streaming live IPL matches on big screens under the stars—free of charge for the public. This way, people without access to TVs or mobile data could join the national celebration and cheer for their heroes.

“It felt like we were on a real adventure—traveling from city to city, meeting so many amazing people, and watching cricket under the stars. I’ll never forget the smiles we saw in those villages,” added Surbhi Jyoti.

With this IPL campaign, 1win not only carried gifts but also carried a message: cricket is more than a game—it is a reason to come together and get closer as a community.

He also lined up a film directed by Kollywood Director Nelson Dilipkumar. So, Trivikram’s film will go on floors only after the completion of all these films.

The Telugu cinema fans, especially the Hyderabad viewers, were thrilled when Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas announced a new IMAX screen is coming up at Hakimpet. However, the latest news is that the IMAX is not coming to Hyderabad anytime soon.

In Hyderabad, Prasads Multiplex stood out as a cherished venue for film fans. It featured the sole IMAX screen in the Telugu states, providing a unique movie experience. Its large screen and powerful sound created a spectacular experience for audiences.

After a few years, the contract between the theater and the IMAX group ended, much to the dismay of movie lovers. However, a spark of hope emerged recently, as Suniel Narang from Asian Group announced plans to reopen IMAX in Hakimpet in two years. 

So, naturally, the anticipation surged again in audiences as they thought the dream was about to become reality. However, Preetham Daniel, VP of IMAX, publicly refuted the claims and stated that IMAX is not coming to Hyderabad anytime soon.

He mentioned that there’s no agreement with Asian Cinemas, although IMAX is in discussions to return to Hyderabad with different parties. Fans feel confused and let down again by that statement.
