Kanguva release trailer is crucial

0

Kanguva starring Suriya is scheduled for release on 14th November worldwide. The team has put high hopes on the success of the film. Promotional activities of the film have already kickstarted with the team members participating in many press meet and shows ahead of the release. Now, Kanguva’s release trailer becomes very crucial for its fate.

The team has been continuously postponing the release trailer which is also affecting buzz for the film. The Overseas advance sales are also not picking the momentum due to this reason. They are still trending at a low level. Bookings for the film will be opened this weekend in all the territories.

Release trailer is expected to come out today and the runtime of the trailer is also said to be locked at 2 minutes and 37 seconds. This must work big to raise the buzz for the film. Songs of the film have already become decent chartbusters. So, the release trailer must be a final punch to the audience to decide the fate of Kanguva at the box office. If the film secures a positive talk then we can expect a big result as well.

0

Lokesh Kanagaraj has become a leading name in Indian cinema, celebrated for creating the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), a thrilling franchise that consistently delivers blockbuster performances. Soon, audiences will get a unique glimpse into the origins of the LCU, as Lokesh plans to release a short film exploring its beginnings. Currently, he is working on Coolie, a standalone project starring Rajinikanth.

During a recent interview, Lokesh shared exciting insights into his cinematic universe’s future. Next on his agenda is Benz with Raghava Lawrence and Kaithi 2, a sequel eagerly awaited by fans. He has also expressed interest in making a separate film centered on the character Rolex, and ultimately, intends to conclude the universe with Vikram 2. Although he once considered Leo 2, the sequel is unlikely to happen following Vijay’s retirement announcement.

Having completed the script for Kaithi 2, Lokesh is thrilled to bring back the character Dilli. Kaithi holds a special place in his journey, as it was the starting point for the LCU. His protagonists stand out for being regular individuals, driven by personal motivations to protect their families. They aim for a drug-free society and embody a unique blend of strength and emotional depth.

Lokesh’s vision goes beyond entertainment. Through these commercial films, he hopes to offer positive messages. By portraying heroes fighting against drug abuse, he believes there’s potential to inspire younger viewers who admire these characters. With all his roles defined, Lokesh is now focused on weaving together this interconnected universe.

Lucky Baskhar Team’s Costly Mistake

0

The recent release of Lucky Bhaskar, despite extraordinary reviews, positive word of mouth, and a big Diwali launch, has raised questions within the industry about its underwhelming performance at the Telugu box office. Despite a strong cast and high production values, Lucky Bhaskar seems to have been overshadowed by other Diwali releases, surprising many in trade circles.

One of the key missteps identified is the lack of clarity in the film’s promotions. Despite its storyline centered around the sensational 1992 Scam—a highly commercial and intriguing plot point—this angle was scarcely mentioned in the promotional materials. Many potential viewers were unaware of this theme, which could have significantly boosted the film’s appeal.

A more transparent approach, openly highlighting the scam storyline, might have generated higher anticipation and engagement.

In contrast, other films like Amaran and KA succeeded by building anticipation through targeted promotional strategies. Amaran gained buzz from the release of the hit song “Hey Rangule,” while KA benefitted from Kiran Abbavaram’s engaging pre-release speech, drawing audiences in.

Unfortunately, Lucky Bhaskar was marketed more like a middle-class family drama, which didn’t align with its actual content—a story with commercial, gripping elements. This misalignment likely cost the team, as it limited the film’s reach and prevented it from capturing audience interest from the outset.

Whether intentional or not, this strategic oversight impacted the film’s box office performance, leaving the team with an important lesson on the power of aligning promotion with content.

Thalapathy 69: Record Overseas Deal

0

Thalapathy 69 is the last film of Vijay before he steps into active politics. Due to it being a landmark project, the film has a huge craze amongst fans as well as the trade circles. Adding to this, Vijay is in top form with consecutive box-office hits.

Due to these factors, the film is setting new benchmarks in business. The overseas rights have reportedly been bought by Phars Film for 78 Cr. This is a record deal ever in Kollywood history highlighting the film’s demand in the trade circle.

Now, Thalapathy 69 has a target set for itself. To achieve breakeven, the film has to collect more than $20 Million overseas which is possible as the Tamil Market is big overseas and capable of doing $25 Million as well if the film receives positive word of mouth. All of Vijay’s recent films have been recording excellent numbers overseas and Thalapathy 69 has every reason to repeat the same.

The film will be directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN productions banner. Anirudh Ravichander will compose tunes for the film making it his 5th collaboration with Vijay. The film is scheduled for release in October 2025.
