Peddi Release Preponed

0

Ram Charan’s Peddi shooting is in full swing, and the movie is carrying a very good buzz. Ram Charan’s look, title, and glimpse have created a highly positive response for the film. The movie was initially announced for a March 27, 2026 release on the occasion of Ram Charan’s birthday

Now, director Buchi Babu Sana has officially confirmed that 60% of the shoot has been completed, and the team is planning to prepone the release date to March 26 to take advantage of the Sri Ramanavami festival.

March 26, 2026, is definitely a better date than March 27, as it falls on a festival holiday and offers a 4-day extended weekend. The team is gearing up to start promotions from November, with the first single expected to release in the first week of November.

Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp 2 Days Box Office — Heading for Blockbuster

0

Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp witnessed very good growth on Day 2 across all territories. In some centers, the Day 2 collections were almost double that of the opening day. The film has also become the No. 1 choice for Telugu audiences — yesterday, it collected more than Dude in the Telugu states

K-Ramp’s worldwide breakeven gross is valued at around ₹16 Cr, and the film has collected about ₹8 Cr in 2 days — achieving 50% recovery in just 2 days, which is extraordinary. With today and tomorrow being Diwali holidays, the film is likely to witness its biggest days yet. By tomorrow or Wednesday, it is expected to achieve breakeven in all territories.

Initially, K-Ramp opened to completely negative reviews from overseas, but things took a positive turn once the Indian shows began. The word of mouth has been improving show by show, clearly reflected in the collections. The film is expected to cross ₹25 Cr gross in its full run and is heading towards becoming a big blockbuster.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda Faces a Tough Year

0

Siddhu Jonnalagadda created a huge market with the Tillu franchise. Other than big-star films, very few Telugu movies have grossed over 100 Cr, and Tillu Square is one of them. After that massive success, expectations were high that Siddhu would rise to the next level, but 2025 has turned out to be a tough year for him.

Two of his films — Jack and Telusu Kada — were released this year. Jack turned out to be an outright disaster, and now Telusu Kada is also heading towards box office failure. Siddhu clearly wants to deliver a big success outside the Tillu franchise, but that hasn’t happened yet.

He definitely needs to score a solid blockbuster with a non-Tillu film. Going forward, Siddhu must be cautious with his story choices; otherwise, he might risk falling into a lower phase in his career.

Many heroes deliver huge blockbusters but fail to maintain consistency — that’s where the struggle begins. Siddhu needs to learn from this pattern and come up with a story that truly connects with the audience.

The one positive takeaway from Telusu Kada is Siddhu’s performance — critics and audiences have appreciated his acting. While Jack faced criticism for showing Siddhu in a Tillu hangover, he managed to overcome that in Telusu Kada. Now, the next big step is to deliver a strong box office comeback.

Can Dil Raju Pull Sukumar Out of Mythri Movies?

0

Sukumar made his directorial debut with the sensational blockbuster Arya under Dil Raju’s production. After that film, they were supposed to reunite for Jagadam, but due to some creative differences, Sukumar went ahead with another producer. Since then, Dil Raju and Sukumar have not collaborated again.

Today, Sukumar is one of the most sought-after directors in Indian cinema. With the Pushpa series, his popularity has crossed all boundaries. Sukumar has found great comfort working with Mythri Movie Makers — from Rangasthalam to Pushpa, Pushpa 2, and his upcoming film with Ram Charan, all have been produced by them. Within the industry, there’s a strong buzz that Sukumar may never step out of Mythri’s production circle.

However, Dil Raju is reportedly eager to collaborate with Sukumar once again. He is said to be desperately trying to set up a massive project featuring Sukumar and Prabhas. It remains to be seen whether Dil Raju can succeed in making this combination happen.

On the other side, Mythri Movie Makers are keen to continue producing all of Sukumar’s films. They are planning Pushpa 3 right after his film with Ram Charan. It will be interesting to see which path Sukumar chooses in the coming days.

Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya — The Real Couple in Suriya’s Film

0

Suriya currently has two films on the sets — one is Karuppu, and the other is a film with Venky Atluri. His next project is signed with Malayalam director Jithu Madhavan, and the pre-production work for this film is in progress.

Suriya will be playing a cop role in this film. The real-life couple Nazriya and Fahadh Faasil are said to be part of the project. Nazriya will play the lead actress, while Fahadh is likely to play the villain or a crucial role. Fahadh was the lead actor in Jithu’s previous film Aavesham, which was a sensational blockbuster. This new project is planned as a quick film, targeting a 2026 release. Most of the shooting is expected to take place in Kerala

Suriya is currently going through a tough phase with no major theatrical blockbuster in recent times. However, he has big hopes for 2026, as three of his films — Karuppu, Venky Atluri’s film, and Jithu Madhavan’s film — are set to release that year. Fans are eagerly waiting for a massive comeback from Suriya in 2026.

Dhruv Vikram Finally Scores Big with Bison — Mari Selvaraj Delivers a Blockbuster

0

Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram made his Kollywood debut in 2019 with the Arjun Reddy remake Adithya Varma, but the film didn’t perform well. His next project, Varmaa, directed by Bala, also failed at the box office. Later, Dhruv teamed up with his father in Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Though the film impressed audiences, it skipped a theatrical release due to the pandemic and premiered directly on Amazon Prime Video

After several setbacks, Dhruv was eagerly waiting for a proper theatrical success. He believed in Mari Selvaraj’s vision and went through intense preparation for Bison, which released this Diwali. Despite facing competition from the much-hyped Dude, Bison is showing strong performance at the box office. Its collections are growing day by day, with Day 3 turning out to be the biggest yet.

The film has grossed around ₹16 crore worldwide during its first weekend, and the advance bookings remain strong. Going by the current trend, Bison is expected to enjoy a long run and may cross ₹50 crore gross in its full run.

For Dhruv Vikram, who had been waiting for the right breakthrough, Mari Selvaraj has delivered the much-needed success. The film not only scored commercially but also earned Dhruv huge appreciation for his performance. The Telugu version of Bison is releasing this weekend and is expected to attract good numbers as well

Dude 1st Weekend Box Office: Pradeep Ranganathan’s Career Biggest

0

Dude had an excellent first weekend at the box office. In the Telugu states, the movie crossed double-digit gross collections, and worldwide it surpassed ₹50 Cr gross. It marks the biggest weekend for Pradeep Ranganathan so far.

Film by film, Pradeep Ranganathan is emerging as a major star. Dude did not even have a solo release— in Tamil, it released alongside Bison and Diesel, yet Kantara Chapter 1 is still running successfully and seeing very big collections. In Telugu, it released alongside K Ramp, Mithra Mandali, and Telusu Kada, but it remains the top grosser in the Telugu states for the weekend.

With tomorrow and Tuesday being holidays, and Diwali being a major festival in Tamil Nadu, there is no doubt that the film will enter the ₹100 Cr club. Pradeep Ranganathan is all set to score a hat-trick of ₹100 Cr grossers. How it holds after Diwali will determine whether it can surpass Dragon Fullrun in total collections or not.”

Kantara Chapter 1 unstoppable, all set for 2025 box office crown

0

Kantara Chapter 1 has a terrific third weekend at the box office. Despite new Diwali releases, the film is seeing phenomenal numbers. No one expected Kantara Chapter 1 to become 2025’s biggest grosser, as it had a moderate opening and initial expectations pegged its worldwide gross at around ₹600 Cr. However, the film has already crossed the ₹700 Cr mark globally, and as of today, it stands at ₹725 Cr.

With tomorrow and Tuesday being Diwali holidays, there is no doubt that it will cross the ₹800 Cr mark. The film could achieve this milestone within the next week, setting the record as 2025’s biggest grosser. If its strong performance continues, it may even reach the ₹850 Cr mark.

The film continues to earn from all five languages—a very encouraging sign. There are no other major releases left this year to challenge Kantara Chapter 1, and it is set to remain 2025’s biggest grosser.

Kantara Chapter 1 Becomes 17th Film to Gross 50 Cr In Kerala

Getting big numbers from Kerala is not an easy task. Films like RRR and Pushpa 2, which saw massive numbers in other languages, did not perform as strongly in Kerala. Kantara Chapter 1 succeeded in achieving big numbers here, even crossing the 50 Cr gross mark.

Kantara Chapter 1 is the 17th film in Kerala to cross ₹50 Cr gross, and the 5th non-Malayalam film to achieve this feat

Diwali Box Office: Dude First, K-Ramp Second

0

For Diwali, four films released for Telugu audiences: Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude, Kiran Abbavaram’s K Ramp, Siddhu’s Telusu Kada, and Priyadarshi’s Mithra Mandali. Among these, in terms of ratings and word of mouth, Dude takes the first place, K Ramp comes second, Telusu Kada ranks third, and Mithra Mandali is fourth. The box office numbers are also reflecting the same trend.

Dude is seeing the highest collections among Telugu states for the Diwali releases. Today, the film crossed double-digit gross. With a breakeven set at 20 Cr gross, with today it is set to recover around 50% of the investments. With Diwali holidays continuing over the next two days, the film is expected to easily achieve the breakeven mark.

K-Ramp opened with decent collections, and on Day 2 it witnessed a good jump over the opening day. The breakeven is around 6.5 Cr share in Telugu states, and looking at the current trend, it is likely to reach this within the first week itself.

Telusu Kada is seeing some traction in urban centers, but in mass areas, the numbers are very low. While it was the biggest business film among Diwali releases in terms of collection-wise it ranks third. Achieving breakeven seems very challenging for the film at this pace.

Mithra Mandali is an outright disaster, failing to achieve even respectable numbers. Audiences are showing minimal interest in the film due to disastrous word of mouth and poor reviews.
