Major was released in theatres on 3rd June in theatres and opened to tremendous opening collections. Despite the stiff competition from Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, Major managed to hold its own ground. It received extremely positive reviews and became an instant blockbuster in Telugu.

But, Major has struggled in the Hindi version. Despite being authentically shot in Hindi as well, the film has struggled to pull the Hindi audiences into the theatres. This is largely due to the lack of promotions for the North audiences.

It is common knowledge that Mahesh Babu is the producer of Major. Despite having a big star like Mahesh backing the project, the makers failed to utilize this to the maximum. Due to Mahesh’s holiday trip, the makers failed to promote Major with Mahesh as the poster boy.

There is no doubt that Major is posting decent numbers in Hindi but it could’ve worked wonders if it was promoted well. The Hindi audiences readily lapped up a movie like Shershaah and Major would’ve also fallen in the same bracket. If there was a good buzz, Major might’ve even outdone KGF 1 in Hindi.

Bollywood director praises Pushpa and Sukumar’s work

The renowned filmmaker of Bollywood Rajkumar Hirani aka Raju Hirani recently sent a personal message to the ‘Pushpa-The Rise’ director Sukumar and lauded his work on the film.

It has been more than five months since the release of Allu Arjun-fronted “Pushpa – The Rise”, but the music and dialogues of the film are still trending on social media platforms. The film was released without promotion and still minted Rs 100 Cr+ nett mark in Hindi.
Many Indian filmmakers and actors have heaped praises on Allu Arjun’s performance and Sukumar’s writing and direction.
Bollywood director praises Pushpa and Sukumar’s work. Blockbuster Bollywood director, Rajkumar Hirani joins the list of admirers of the film. The “PK” director personally messaged Sukumar, lauding his writing and direction of “Pushpa“.

A social media post has gone viral on Twitter which has Hirani’s message for Sukumar. In his personal message, Raju Hirani told Sukumar that he can’t stop talking about this film since he has watched it a long time back. He said that the movie has been shot well and the performances and songs are powerful as he called it a great entertainer.
“Pushpa – The Rise”, which is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, depicts the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state.

Allu Arjun has played the title role while Rashmika Mandanna essayed the female lead opposite. The movie also stars Faahadh Faasil in his Telugu debut along with Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay, and Ajay Ghosh in key roles.
The second part of the film, titled “Pushpa – The Rule” is currently under pre-production and will go on floors by August this year. It is carrying huge anticipation among the Pan Indian audiences.

Nagarjuna’s First look from Brahmastra released

The first look of King Nagarjuna was released from Brahmastra part one.
Ever since the shooting of ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ wraped, the makers of the movie have taken the excitement of the fans a notch higher with every new poster release.
Now, Keeping fans’ excitement on edge, director Ayan Mukerji has dropped the first look poster of King Nagarjuna. In the movie, Nagarjuna is playing the role of Anish, who is an artist and has a strength of 1000 Nandi’s with the mighty Nandi Astra.”

With Sharing the poster, Ayan shared some warm words for the senior actor and gave some insight into the actor’s role in the movie. He wrote, ”ARTIST ANISH & HIS NANDI ASTRA. When I grow up, I would want to be like Nagarjuna Garu – A gentleman with the warmest of hearts. He entered the world of Brahmastra and gave his fierce intensity to our movie; touched our entire crew with his kindness and generosity; and greatly added to our dream of creating a truly pan-India movie experience with Brahmastra.

Further, he added that his Nandi Astra is the highlight of the movie. He concluded the caption with the Indian god Shiva’s sacred chant, ”Om shivavahanaya vidmahe thundaya dheemahi, thanno nandih prachodayath!”.
In this mythological sci-fi also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. Film has faced several delays, first covid than the work on VFX. The film was scheduled to release earlier in December 2020 but was pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic.

The film, which marks Alia and Ranbir’s first film together, will release on September 9, this year. Earlier, the movie was scheduled to release in 2019. While the plot details of the movie are under wraps, the movie will release in theatres on September 9, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Naga Chaitanya, Raashi Khanna’s Thank You directed by Vikram K Kumar is attracting the attention of all. The film is racing for a grand release on July 8,2022. The makers are promoting the film.
The makers already released the teaser couple of weeks ago. And created decent record in the name if the actor. The actor impresses with his new avatar and shows the journey of Naga Chaitanya as Abhi from a fun-loving man to a cold-hearted person. The teaser also gives a glimpse of the love tales between Naga Chaitanya, Avika Gor, Malavika Nair, and Raashi Khanna.
And yesterday the makers released the full song of Maro Maro. The song is tuned by Thaman. Lyrics are penned by Viswa, Kittu Visapragada. The lyrics highlighted the bigger battle unfolding between Naga Chaitanya and opposition hockey players. Deepu, Prudhvi Chandra sang the song with full energy and expressions emoting perfectly highlighting the intense feelings. The song is well shot and increased expectations among movie lovers. Meeting the expectations the song was trippy and vibrant. SS Thaman as usual gave a chartbuster tune and Kittu Vissapragada catchy lyrics will resonate through everyone.

The Rap portion by MaHa is addictive. Going by the song, it is an energetic rap song that signifies the rivalry between two groups which are headed by Naga Chaitanya and ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’ fame Sai Sushanth Reddy. As we know, Chaitanya will be seen as a hockey player for a certain part of the movie and ‘Maaro Maaro’ song is used to project the battle between the two groups. The film stars Rashi Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor as the female leads. Sushanth is playing the powerful role of the antagonist. PC.Sreeram cranked the cinematography. The film’s story is penned by BVS.Ravi and is bankrolled in a prestigious manner by Dil Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Newly married couple Nayana Thara and Vignesh Sivan are struggling with a new controversy. Kollywood’s much-loved couple, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara tied the knot at a private resort on ECR, near Mahabalipuram, on June 9 and officially became man and wife.
