Bollywood Director Om Raut All Praises For Prabhas
Bollywood director Om Raut was all praises for Prabhas when he was recently asked to share his experience working with Prabhas in Adipurush.
Based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana, Prabhas will play Lord Rama in Adipurush. The film is a tale of the victory of good over evil.
Sharing his experience in an interview, Om Raut spoke about his amazing bond with Prabhas during the shooting. The director also spoke about the trust they share with each other. He is the best person I have ever met, he added.
Om Raut also spoke about how Prabhas’ stardom will help Adipurush in Telugu as well as the Indian market. He also expressed his interest to work in Hyderabad again.
We had fun on sets everyday, his dedication will take this film to the next level.
Om Raut’s previous works include Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which was the highest grosser of 2020.
Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Prabhas’ brother Laxman and Devdatta Nage as Lord Hanuman. Bhushan Kumar is the producer of the film.
The shooting of the film is complete and if everything goes to plan, the film will release on 11th August 2022 in theatres. The team is currently working on the VFX for the film,which will be the soul of Adipurush.
Nagarjuna’s Strong Counter To Pawan Kalyan And Nani
The issue regarding ticket rates in AP has been an ongoing issue for a while now. If the situation wasn’t already grim, Nagarjuna has only made things worse for the Telugu film industry.
Nagarjuna has indirectly issued a strong counter to Pawan Kalyan and Nani. When asked about the ticket rates in the Bangarraju press meet, Nagarjuna stated that it is wrong to talk about political issues on the cinema stage, and he will not make any comments.
This would’ve been commendable if the question asked was actually political. The issue regarding the poor ticket rates in AP is a matter of the industry. When a top actor like Nagarjuna makes a reckless statement like that, all previous efforts go to waste.
This is an indirect counter to Pawan Kalyan and Nani who have openly criticized the AP government. Pawan Kalyan criticized the government in the REPUBLIC pre-release event. The comments are also a hit at Nani who has also been vocal about the issue in various events.
This is not the only time Nagarjuna made a distasteful comment regarding the ticket rates issue. He also said that he is okay with the ticket rates for Bangarraju.
These comments are even more hypocritical when you consider his previous comments about raising ticket rates in AP during Wild Dog promotions.
Saana Kastam from Acharya finds itself in controversy
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is slated for a release on 4th February. The movie unit recently released the latest single from the film ‘Saana Kastam’ picturised on Regina Cassandra and Chiranjeevi. The song has brought up 11 million + views.
While this is good news for the Acharya team, the song Saana Kastam has now found itself at the center of a controversy. RMP Association from Telangana has found fault in the song’s lyrics and has registered a formal complaint on the lyricist and the director.
The song has lyrics “Ededo nimurochani kurraallu RMPlu ayipotunnaare” that translates into youth turning into RMPs just to tough you. This has hurt the sentiments of the RMP doctors and they state that it defames their profession.
The association has requested immediate action on lyricist Bhaskarbatla and director Koratala Siva. Mani Sharma has composed this song while Geetha Madhuri and Revanth have sung this peppy dance number.
Acharya stars Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, and Kajal Aggarwal in prominent roles. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie, and Niranjan Reddy has produced the film.
