Anasuya To Play A Crucial Role In Ravi Teja’s Khiladi

Ravi Teja’s much-awaited Khiladi has been in the making for a while now. It was scheduled to release on February 11th, 2022 but due to the restrictions imposed on theatres in the AP government, the film has been postponed to February 18th.

Just a while ago, there were rumors that Anasuya Bharadwaj will also play an important role in Khiladi. There is now an official confirmation regarding Anasuya’s role in Khiladi. Anasuya will play the role of the heroine’s mother, that is Ravi Teja’s mother-in-law, in Khiladi.

It will be interesting to see how Anasuya fits in with Ravi Teja’s character in Khiladi. We are usually used to seeing Anasuya play more rural characters like Rangamma in Rangasthalam and Dakshyani in Pushpa in the past. It will also be interesting to see how she pulls off the role of a mother, considering she is much younger than Ravi Teja.

The film also stars Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Choudhary, Arjun Sarja, and Unni Mukundan among others. Ramesh Varma is the director as well as the producer of the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film. The film is releasing in theatres on February 18th, 2022.

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja has just started the first day of shoot for his next movie, titled Ravanasura with Sudheer Varma.

Rana Daggubati’s 1945 OTT Release Date Finalized

Rana Daggubati’s 1945 was finally released in theatres on 7th January 2022 after long and arduos delays. The movie has gone through every hurdle imaginable, from pre-production hurdles, post-production hurdles and then COVID-19 delays.

Rana has also had mutliple scuffles with the producer of 1945 C. Kalyan over the film.

The film was originally supposed to release in 2018, but it has released after 4 years. This should tell you everything about the film. After the film released in theatres, it was not recieved well by the audiences either and was dismissed as a half-baked product.

It is now hitting the OTT screens from February 7th 2022 on the Sun NXT OTT platform. The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Sathyaraj and Nasser in important roles. The story is set in the pre-independence area. Sathyasiva is the director of the film.

Meanwhile, Rana will be eagerly awaiting the release of his action drama Bheemla Nayak with Pawan Kalyan. The film is set to release either on February 25th or on April 1st, depending on the restrictions imposed by the AP government.

Smuggler Inspired From Pushpa Gets Caught By Police

After the release of Pushpa-The Rise, every single person was imitating Allu Arjun’s famous dialogue ‘Thaggedhe Le‘ from the movie. If not for the dialogue, people imitated Allu Arjun’s iconic dance step in the chartbuster Srivalli from Pushpa. Celebrities like David Warner, Ravindra Jadeja, and Hardik Pandya have all imitated this step.

While this level of imitation and inspiration is healthy, a man has taken things to an extreme level. A smuggler was so inspired by Pushpa that he tried to smuggle red sandalwood worth 2.45 crores using a tactic that Allu Arjun uses in the film.

Smuggler Yasin Inayithulla loaded his truck with red sandalwood and tried to cover it with fruits and vegetables on top of it. In Pushpa, Allu Arjun covers the red sandalwood with tomatoes on top. But it looks like Yasin fast-forwarded that scene as moments later Allu Arjun gets caught by the police.

In a recent interview, Padma Shree Awardee Garikapati Narasimha Rao had a lot to say about Allu Arjun’s Pushpa-The Rise. Garikapati Narasimha Rao who is known for his vocal and straightforward point of views had a few complaints regarding Pushpa.

Garikapati said this in the interview “Off late there have been a lot of movies where a bad guy is a hero. For example Rowdy, Idiot, and recently the very successful Pushpa. In Pushpa, a smuggler is a hero. Am I correct? If we object to this, the director will say that the hero will face punishment in Part 2. Does that mean we have to let society be destroyed till you direct Part 2?”

Because of Pushpa, smuggling is being considered a very great thing, he added. Garikapati also took offence to the famous ‘Thaggedhe Le‘ dialogue from the movie. “How can a smuggler say Thaggedhe Le, is it morally correct? That dialogue has become like an Upanishad among the youth now. Who is responsible for this?”

“When I see all this I am bound to get angry, when something bad is happening, I will get angry. If I see Pushpa’s director or Allu Arjun, I will teach them a lesson without a doubt, Garikapati exclaimed.

“This movie is destroying society and crimes are increasing. Who should say ‘Thaggedhe Le‘? Great people like Harishchandra, Ramachandra should say it. How can a smuggler mouth that dialogue?”

While it is justified to have an opinion over a matter, it is wrong to misunderstand the context of a film. Allu Arjun does not play a hero in Pushpa, he has ample amounts of grey shades in the film. What makes the character so enjoyable is the attitude and acting of Allu Arjun. However, Garikapati has all the right to state his opinion.

Much awaited SSMB28 officially launched

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s much-awaited project SSMB28 was launched in a grand manner in Hyderabad a while ago. This will be the third film for Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. Both these films have a special place in the hearts of film lovers and fans are expecting no less than a blockbuster this time.

The makers of the film, Haarika and Haasine Creations made an official announcement on this last year much to the excitement of the movie lovers. The Pooja ceremony was attended by producers Radha Krishna, Naga Vamsi, Trivikram, Pooja Hegde and Namrata Shirodkar among others.

The project will go on floors in April this year and the unit is aiming for a Sankranti 2023 release. Pooja Hegde will be playing the lead role opposite Mahesh Babu while Lavanya Tripathi or Ritu Varma will be seen as the second lead.

Mahesh also tweeted about the project and shared an image of the clapboard with the title: A new chapter unfolds!

Trivikram is taking a new subject this time around. The ace director’s previous subjects have been family entertainers but as per reports, he will show Mahesh in a new avatar in SSMB28.

Ram Charan and Shankar’s RC 15 new schedule starts soon

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and ace director Shankar’s RC 15 is going on at great speed. The shoot started late last year and has already completed some key schedules. Now, the makers are all set to start the new schedule which will take place at Rajahmundry and surrounding areas.

The schedule will start on February 10th and will go on till the 28th of the month. Apart from Ram Charan, Srikanth and Anjali will also be a part of this leg of the shoot.

The makers have applied for shoot permission and have also requested for police protection in view of the shooting. Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Kovvur, and surrounding villages will serve as the shoot spots for the film.

RC15 is a political drama with a powerful message. This film is going to be on an anti-corruption theme. Ram Charan’s character is going to play an anti-corruption crusader in this social drama. This film is going to be unlike any of the other Shankar films. Reportedly, heavy usage of VFX and costly sets that are a part of Shankar’s films will be missing in RC15.

Dil Raju is producing the film while SS Thaman will compose the music for the film. Kiara Advani will play the lead role opposite Ram Charan in RC 15.

Will Trivikram’s Changes Make DJ Tillu A Blockbuster?

The trailer of the crazy romantic comedy DJ Tillu was launched yesterday at an event amongst journalists and media personnel. The trailer received widespread love instantly and has garnered a massive 2.7M+ views as of now.

At the trailer launch event, actor Siddhu Jonalagadda spoke about Trivikram’s impact on the script. “Trivikram Garu made some crucial changes to the script and those changes will make the film a blockbuster” Siddhu explained.

Siddhu Jonalagadda who plays DJ Tillu in the film has also written the screenplay for the movie. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has produced both DJ Tillu and Bheemla Nayak under the Sithara Entertainments banner. Trivikram has written the screenplay of Bheemla Nayak and seems to have agreed to help in the screenplay of DJ Tillu.

DJ Tillu follows the story of Tillu, an aspiring DJ who wants to make it to the top. Things take a wild turn when he falls in love with a beautiful woman, played by Neha Shetty. How he deals with these situations forms the rest of this crazy story.

Coming to the cast of the film, DJ Tillu also stars Neha Shetty, Prince Cecil, and Brahmaji among others. Vimal Krishna is the director of the film. Sri Charan Pakala is the music director of the film. It will be interesting to see if Trivikram’s changes in the film make DJ Tillu a blockbuster.

We all witnessed back in 2018 the level of success achieved by Vijay Deverakonda’s Geetha Govindam. The musical romantic entertainer went on to become one of the biggest hits for Vijay Deverakonda. It also and pushed director Parasuram into the big league. The movie made under Geetha Arts banner was the production house’s one of the most profitable ventures.

Now it looks like Geetha Arts is looking to repeat the magic of 2018. The production hpuse is looking to get back Parasuram and add Jr NTR’s star power to it. According to reports, Parasuram will start works on this project right after Sarkaru Vaari Paata completion.

Allu Arjun visiting Bangalore to meet Puneeth Rajkumar’s family

Icon Star Allu Arjun is all set to visit Bangalore tomorrow. He will be meeting late actor Puneeth Rajukumar’s family in the city. The Kannada star passed away in October last year leaving fans and friends across the industries shell shocked.

“We had a mutual respect for each other. Suddenly he’s not there. Suddenly, he’s just not there. When I heard the news the first time, I was shocked. It’s gotten heavy on me, just in a click of a snap, I was so shocked. Life is so unpredictable, we just don’t know. I understand that all of us are in the same zone. A great soul, superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, who has done so much for Kannada industry, the big pride of South industry and the film industry,” Allu Arjun stated after the death of the legendary Kannada hero.

Allu Arjun and Puneeth Rajkumar had a great personal bond and the two stars shared great mutual admiration for each other’s work.

Bunny was in Bangalore last month but didn’t meet Puneeth Rajkumar’s family back then as he felt it would not be appropriate to meet at that moment.

“I’m here to promote Pushpa and it’s not ethical to meet their family today when I’m here to promote a film. I will come to Bangalore again on another day and will surely meet Puneeth garu’s family,” he said back then.
