RRR Movie Team All praises for Megastar Chiranjeevi

RRR team held a grand event at chikballapur, Karnataka. Almost about 3 lakh people attended the event. NTR fans, Charan fans and other people all around from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka were present at the event.

Karnataka CM and health minister are the chief guests along with Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar. The speeches of Ram Charan, NTR and Rajamouli are the highlights of the event. In his speech, Rajamouli praised megastar Chiranjeevi. Is Chiranjeevi the chief guest? No, he didn’t attend the event either. Then why did Rajamouli appreciate Chiranjeevi? It is mainly for the efforts he showed in for ticket issue.

RRR Director Rajamouli and Producer Danayya garu had specially mentioned megastar Chiranjeevi for helping out for ticket prices by talking with both governments. Rajamouli emotionally spoke about Chiranjeevi that though Megastar who like to be called as Industries’s loving son rather than Industrie’s big head, he is the Industrie’s big head in all terms.


SSR also told that Megastar is the one who took initiative to talk to state ministers about the ticket price issue. The ticket prices was really helpful to the Movie Team for Huge business in Telugu states.

Rajamouli also mentioned that Chiranjeevi has to take blame from many people in the process. But for industrie’s well being, megastar took all the blame and stood for Industry which made him a true megastar in the eyes of Rajamouli. RRR producer Dvv Danayya garu also praised Chiranjeevi for helping them out to sort ticket price issues with the government.

RRR is all set to hit the screen on 25th March and the anticipation is rising with every passing day. The trio of Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan are busy with the promotions and back-to-back interviews and events. The movie has done a record pre-release business and trade circles are expecting a massive opening across the territories.

The combined pre-release business of RRR all the languages worldwide stands at a whopping Rs 509 crores. The Telugu states total stands at Rs 224 crores. Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Kerala states theatrical business is as follows:

  • Karnataka: ₹45 Crs
  • Tamilnadu: ₹42 Crs
  • Kerala: ₹10 Crs

The overall rest of India’s business stands at Rs 110 crores apart from above three states. Overseas theatrical business raked in a solid Rs 78 crores for the makers.

Ajith’s Valimai OTT streaming date locked

Ajith and Karthikeya starrer Valimai has locked it’s OTT steaming date. Valimai will stream on Zee 5 on March 25. Zee studios also was one of the production partners of Valimai. Earlier film of Ajith, Nerkonda Paarvai, the remake of Pink also streamed on Zee 5. This will be the consecutive film of Ajith on Zee 5.

Valimai deals with Ill effects on Youth with Motobike stunts and robberies. Telugu Actor Karthikeya played the antagonist in the film, making it also his debut in Tamil industry. He earlier too played antagonist in Nani starrer Nani’s Gang Leader. Valimai has crossed alsmot 150 crore gross Worldwide. It also grossed more than 100 crores alone in Tamil Nadu. This will be the last weekend for Valimai. It will release on OTT in the coming weekend.

Ajith has already okayed another film, #AK61 with Valimai’s director and Producer Boney Kapoor making it their 3rd consecutive film. The film will see Ajith in a negative role as rumoured. He was also seen sporting a full grown beard with a ear stud. Ajith has also signed another film with Lyca Productions tentatively titled as #AK62. This film will be directed by young director, Vignesh Shivan. Details of this projected were announced yesterday.

Chiranjeevi signs another Malayalam Remake film ?!

Megastar Chiranjeevi who is currently working on two remake films seems to have signed another remake. This film is a remake of Malayalam film, Bro Daddy. Mohanlal and Pruthviraj Sukumaran played the lead roles. This film was released directly on OTT. It doesn’t have mass and commercial elements. The other details about the cast and crew have not yet come out. Chiranjeevi is already doing the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Lucifer titled as Godfather in Telugu. This film is in the final stage of filming. Nayanthara is portraying the female lead role in this film.

The other remake project he is doing is Bhola Shankar, remake of Tamil film, Vedhalam. The first look of this film is also released recently. This remake is directed by Meher Ramesh. The only straight film chiranjeevi is doing is Acharya directed by Koratala Shiva. Acharya is slated for release on 29 April this year. Acharya also stars his son Ram Charan.

Now Chiranjeevi signing another remake is a disappointing news for the mega fans. Chiranjeevi’s brother Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is also doing the same. His recent two films, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak both were remake films of Pink and Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Now he too has okayed another remake of Tamil film, Vinodhaya Sitham.

Ticket hike grated for RRR Movie in Telangana

After Andhra Pradesh government granted permission for ticket hikes for RRR, now it is Telangana government that granted special permissions. Rajamouli and RRR makers requested Telangana government for ticket prices hike. Though the ticket prices are relatively high in Telangana than Andhra Pradesh, RRR makers want to cash more in first ten days. Keeping the budget and scope of RRR in mind, even the governments agreed to increase the ticket prices. It will definitely help the distributors around the Telugu states.

Telangana Home department released a memo stating that RRR can have special rates like one rate for the first three days and another rate for the next seven days. It also mentioned that RRR can have five shows per day between 7 Am to 1 Am for 10 days.RRR Movie Nizam 10days Hike rates are as follows:

Dil Raju who is a major distributor in Telugu film industry seems to be quoting record prices for RRR benefit shows in Telangana. Dil Raju who happens to be also a film producer generally distributes films in many territories. He is now quoting record prices for RRR benefit shows in Telangana.

Apart from producing the films, Dil Raju chooses many films to distribute. Many big budget films and hyped films are brought by him and distributes. RRR directed by director Rajamouli is slated for release on 25 March. Benefit shows and paid premieres are being hugely planned by the makers in Telangana. Now Dil Raju is very confident on using this. He is quoting 1.2 crores for 6 early morning shows in Hyderabad. Offers are in the range of 1 cr – 1.1 cr. In Khammam, the distributor is quoting 60 Lakhs for 6 early morning shows.

However in AP with the existing prices and regulations, early morning shows and heavy extra hikes are not allowed. Radhe Shyam too didn’t get such benefit shows and paid premieres. However Rs.75 additional hike was only allowed in AP. So Dil Raju is majorly concentrating on quoting record prices for RRR in Telangana.
