Vijay’s Beast heading towards disaster in Telugu and Washout in Hindi

Vijay’s Beast released earlier this week amidst great hype but mostly cold reviews. The film was panned by critics and even the audience gave up on this Kollywood biggie after the initial few shows. Owing to Vijay’s stardom, Beast got off to an amazing opening across territories. However, since then it has seen huge drops.

This action thriller was released in Telugu and Hindi along with Tamil. In Telugu, the movie opened well but later saw drops on day2 due to the KGF2 release. Day 3 was even worse for the film with the movie completely collapsing and the shares being pretty minimal.

This will be the 1st disaster for Vijay in Telugu states in recent times. Coming to the Hindi version, the performance of Beast has been even more worrisome. The film has not even collected 1Cr nett in Hindi and is a total washout in the northern states.

Nelson Dileepkumar has directed this action thriller that revolves around a hostage situation at the mall. Vijay plays a RAW officer in the film and is entrusted with saving the day. Vijay’s Beast also stars Pooja Hegde, Redin Kingsley, and Selvaraghavan among others.

The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata have made it very clear time and again that the film will release on May 12th in theatres. Despite this, there have been strong rumors about the postponement of the film.

A couple of days ago, there were rumors floating around about the postponement of Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The makers are extremely unhappy with this rumor because postponement news always affects the business and trade of the film negatively.

To counteract this, the makers are strongly pushing for the release of the 3rd single as soon as possible. They want to make it clear once again that the film will release on May 12th at any cost. The makers have also assured the distributors to not believe in any rumors.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata also stars Keerthy Suresh, Vennela Kishore, and Subbaraju in lead roles. Parasuram Petla is the music director of the film and Mythri Movies have produced the project. Thaman S is the music director.

KGF Chapter 2 breaks KGF Chapter 1 collections in just 2 days. This is a stunning news to all. KGF Chapter 1 which released as a regional film went on to become a Pan-Indian hit impressing all sections of audiences throughout the country. Naturally the hype got extended to the sequel, KGF Chapter 2 which released on 14th April this month. The film made a phenomenal start at the box-office. The film made 160 crores gross worldwide on Day 1.

KGF Chapter 2 has crossed the lifetime gross of KGF Chapter 1 in just 2 days. The film has collected close to 300 crore gross worldwide. This is very massive. In AP/TS, the film has collected close to 50 crores in just 2 days. In Karnataka, it is near 52 crores. Tamil Nadu and Kerala gross is at 30 crores. Overall, India gross is near 240 crores. The film is expected to easily cross 500 cr gross by Sunday. This is very shocking to see. KGF Chapter 2 is the only film after Baahubali 2 and RRR to repeat this feat. These collections are example for the film’s craze and hype.

The film is completely owned by Hindi audiences. So much so that the hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 alone is close to 54 crores beating all Hindi biggies including War. The film may also easily cross 1000 crores worldwide.

Vijay fans are very serious on Beast director Nelson it seems. Fans of Vijay who had lots of hopes on Beast are now greatly disappointed with the film, Beast. Vijay is enjoying super stardom now and his average flicks are also doing wonders at the box office. But with beast movie, fans are not happy with the output. The film failed to satisfy the fans and received negative talk.

The film which had the backdrop of a Mall’s hijack didn’t go well with the fans who have expected much more from the film. The entire film revolved around the concept of Vijay’s plans to free the people. This was extended till the end. There are no fans moments in the film to satisfy them like in the regular Vijay’s movies. The content as said has nothing to offer to the fans. Excluding Tamil Nadu and few overseas markets, other areas have seen great drops on Day 2. Now, Vijay fans are very serious on director Nelson for this too. On the other hand, KGF Chapter 2 received great mouth talk and the film is doing exceptionally well through out the country. This made Beast lose out the revenue in other languages.

The film entirely had only comedy and repetitive action sequences. The climax of the film is also being trolled heavily on social media platforms. The film revolved only around a Mall which has also become repetitive. The film even lacked songs which fans expect in a big hero’s films. The action sequences too turned out to be too long.

Distributors are now in shock for Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger makers quoting high prices. Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday directed by Puri Jagannadh was made on a pan-Indian level. The film is produced by Karan Johar. Vijay Deverakonda rose to stardom with his Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam becoming blockbusters. Puri Jagannadh too had a great blockbuster with Ismart Shankar. Both collaborated for the film which brought great hype.

The Glimpse of the film also garnered great views on YouTube with more than 23 Million Views in 3 months. Puri Jagannadh has taken lot of time to complete the film. The film is said to be biggest budget for Puri Jagannadh and as well as for Vijay Deverakonda. The makers are saying that the movie was made on a budget of 100 cr+ and are quoting more than 75-90 crore ratio for AP/TS. Distributors are literally in shock after hearing this price as 90 cr ratio is quoted for only big stars. Distributors have thought that the business will be in the range of 40-45 crores but producers seem to be in a different world.

Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda have recently collaborated for yet another film, JGM which was originally planned with Mahesh Babu. The film is also made on a Pan-Indian level and the launch for the film also happened recently.

KGF Chapter 2 also created the highest day 1 records in all the states of the country except AP/TS and Tamil Nadu. After after Baahubali 2, KGF 2 too became a big hyped film for all the audiences.
