Anupama Parameswaran has got an interesting lineup of films in 2022. Earlier this year, she starred in Rowdy Boys opposite debutant Ashish. She was also seen in a cameo in Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki. Next up, she has Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages with Nikhil. She also has a thriller film ‘Butterfly’ coming up this year.
The first look of the movie was released early this year and this colourful poster created quite a strong buzz among the netizens. Anupama Parameswaran was seen in quite a colourful poster with wings featured around her. The makers are now planning to go for a direct OTT release for this project.
The makers of Butterfly are in talks with Disney + Hotstar for a direct release on OTT by skipping the theatres. It is a great decision as the audience in recent past has not shown much interest to watch very small budget films in theatres. Even movies like Ante Sundaraniki and Pakka Commercial failed to draw the audience to the theatres and turned out to be major disappointments.
Satish Babu Ghanta is directing this project while Ravi Prakash Bodapati, Prasad Tiruvalluri and Pradeep Nallimelli are bankrolling the film under the banner of Gen Next Movies.

Akhil Akkineni’s ambitious project Agent has been in the making for quite some time and has seen multiple delays. Now, much to the fan’s disappointment, the movie has been postponed once again. The movie was supposed to release in by now and then got pushed to August 12th.
However, the progress on the film has not been up to the mark and the unit of Agent is now considering a release in December 2022. Akhil’s injury and multiple schedule backlogs are the major reasons for these delays.
The movie has also undergone some major script changes as well as the replacement of actors. AK Entertainment and Surender 2 Cinema are bankrolling this prestigious pan-India project. The makers are leaving no expense spared and are spending a lot on action sequences. After the average performance of his last film Most Eligible Bachelor, Akhil has pinned high hopes on this project.
Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is playing a vital role in this film. Mammootty’s role in this film would be central to Akhil Akkineni’s Agent and will drive it. Surender Reddy’s stylish taking is going to be the major highlight of the movie. Akhil’s role in Agent is reportedly tailor-made to his strengths and the makers are confident of its success.
Ram’s upcoming action entertainer The Warrior is gearing up for a massive release on the 14th of July and the makers are leaving no expense spared to make this movie a big hit. The film also stars Krithi Shetty and Aadhi Pinnisetty in key roles. The film has been made on a grand scale and lavish budget and Srinivasa Chitturi is producing this film. The film is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
Ram is playing an IPS officer in the movie and it will feature some exciting fight sequences. This is the first time he will be playing a cop’s role. Director Lingusamy has ensured the film is filled with commercial elements and attracts the mass audience.
The film will release in Telugu and Tamil and the makers are planning a massive pre-release event in Tamil. Lingusamy and Adhi have a good following in Kollywood and the makers are planning to cash it. While this will be Ram’s first Tamil project, the response to the recently released trailer has given the entire unit great confidence.
The pre-release business has been quite encouraging in Telugu states and has hit the highest numbers of Ram’s career. Theatrical rights for Ceeded have fetched the makers Rs 6 crores while the Andhra region has been sold for a massive Rs 18 crores. Nizam region has been acquired in the range of Rs 12-13 crores. The Telugu version rights will be in the range of Rs 40 crores making it the best theatrical business in Ram’s career.
Anasuya is on a signing spree and will be seen in back-to-back exciting projects in the coming days. Earlier this year she was seen in Ravi Teja’s Khiladi while her performance in last year’s Pushpa was also well appreciated.
After playing significant roles in Pakka Commercial, Khiladi and Pushpa, she has now bagged another Tollywood biggie. She will be seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar.
As per reports, the anchor/actress has quit the popular show Jabardasth and is focused on other projects. She will be seen in a web series based on the popular play Kanyasulakam. The play written by Gurajada Appa Rao has achieved a cult status over the years.
The play was written way back in the 1890s and has been one of the most popular plays over last many years. Anasuya will play the role of Madhuravani, a prostitute who is one of the main characters of the play.
The web series will go on floors soon and director Krish will produce it. More details on the show will be announced soon.

This comment from Pookutty angered many film lovers and producer Shobhu Yarlagadda also responded to this tweet.
“I don’t think @RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is “gay love story” a bad thing? How can you justify using this ? Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!,” tweeted Shobhu.
However, it was Keeravani’s fierce and double-meaning comment that got the netizens shocked.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా కృష్ణవంశీ OTT లోకి ప్రవేశిస్తున్నారు అనే వార్తలు ఇటీవల బాగా ప్రచారంలోకి వచ్చాయి. దాదాపు 300 కోట్ల బడ్జెట్ తో ఆ ప్రాజెక్ట్ తెరకెక్కనుందని సమాచారం. అయితే వీటిని ఇంకా అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించాల్సి ఉండగా,తాజాగా కృష్ణవంశీ తన ట్విట్టర్ అకౌంట్ ద్వారా తన తదుపరి తీయబోయే సినిమాకి సంభందించి ఒక వీడియోను విడుదల చేసారు.

This is the first time we are going to see hero Sri Vishnu in the cop role in his next movie- Alluri. Pradeep Varma is the director of this movie and is produced by Bekkam Venu Gopal. This is the fictional biopic of a police officer. It comes with the tag line Nijayithi ki maaru peru which translates to synonym of sincerity.
The makers has launched movie teaser today and we can see Sri Vishnu as a tough cop who beats criminals to death. He introduces himself as Alluri Sitaramaraju to the naxals. This shows how sincere officer he is and his guts.
Sri Vishnu looked quite powerful in this movie and his transformation is something that needs a lot of appreciation. Kayadu Lohar is the lead actress and we can see Suman in a key role. The first look of this movie has created curiosity among the masses. This teaser has made things even more interesting. Except for a song, the entire movie has been shot and the release date of film will be revealed very soon.
Harshavardhan Rameshwar is the music director for this film and Raj Thota is the DOP. The movie has several prominent actors like Thanikella Bharani, Prudhvi Raj and many more.
