గత కొంతకాలంగా తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమ రకరకాల సమస్యలతో సతమతమవుతున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే నిర్మాతల గిల్డ్ కొన్ని ముఖ్యమైన నిర్ణయాలు, పలు మార్గదర్శకాలను కూడా సూచించారు. అలాగే సమస్యలను కూలంకషంగా చర్చించుకుని అందరూ ఒక మాట మీదకు వచ్చిన తరువాతే సినిమాల మీద దృష్టి పెట్టాలి అనే ఉద్దేశంతో ఆగస్టు నెల ప్రారంభం నుంచి సినిమా షూటింగ్లను ఆపేసిన విషయమూ విదితమే.. ఇక అనుకున్నట్లుగానే గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు కొన్ని నిర్ణయాలను అమలు చేయబోతున్నారు. టికెట్ రేట్లు.. థియేటర్లలో లభించే తినుభండారాల రేట్ల దగ్గరి నుంచి .. నిర్మాణ వ్యయం, అలాగే హీరోలు మరియు నటీనటుల రెమ్యూనరేషన్లో కోత ఇలా అన్ని అంశాల మీద చర్చలు జరిపిన నిర్మాతలు చినరికి ఓ నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చారు. ఈ క్రమంలోనే షూటింగ్లపై ఉన్న నిషేదాన్ని ఎత్తివేశారు. ఇక పై ఏ అడ్డంకులు లేకుండా అందరూ షూటింగ్లు జరుపుకోవచ్చంటూ ప్రకటన చేశారు.
సెప్టెంబర్ 1 నుంచి అన్ని సినిమాల షూటింగులు తిరిగి ప్రారంభించబడతాయని నిర్మాత దిల్ రాజు చెప్పారు. అలాగే ఇప్పటికే చాలా భాగం చిత్రీకరణ జరుపుకున్న సినిమాలు, విదేశాలలో షెడ్యూల్ లు ఖరారైన చిత్రాలకు ముందుగా ప్రాధాన్యతను ఇస్తూ.. ఆ సినిమాలు మాత్రం ఆగస్టు 25 నుంచి షూటింగ్లను మొదలు పెట్టవచ్చని చెప్పారు గిల్డ్ సభ్యులు దిల్ రాజు.

Puri Jagannadh is all geared up for the release of his upcoming film Liger. The movie is the most ambitious project of the ace director’s career and he has put his everything- both creatively and financially into the movie.
While the director is busy with Liger promotions, he answered a question about his plans to work with Superstar Mahesh Babu again. Puri and Mahesh combo has given the industry memorable films like blockbuster ‘Pokiri’ and sensational gangster drama ‘Businessman’. Mahesh’s terrific performance and Puri’s out-of-the-box writing made these two movies iconic.
Puri said, that there is terrific scope in Mahesh’s character from Businessman and a sequel can definitely be made. Similarly, even Pokiri can be made into a sequel and he had this thought way back in the early 2010s. However, since Mahesh was busy back then, it couldn’t materialise.
Meanwhile, Liger is creating massive wave at the box office. The advance bookings across the territories have been terrific. This Vijay Deverakonda starter has already grossed Rs 3 crores from Hyderabad box office in terms of advance bookings.
The sports action drama also stars Ananya Pandey and Ramya Krishnan and will release on 25th August. Karan Johar and Puri Jagannadh are jointly producing the film. It will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi as well as in Malayalam.
Karthikeya 2’s dream run in theatres is proving to be truly magical. A film made on a meager budget of 20-30 crores has created a Hungama at the box office and shattered many records along the way. After a decent opening day, the film has only been collecting more and more money at the box office.

అయితే, ఓటిటి ప్లాట్ఫారమ్లు నిర్మాతల నిర్ణయాలతో పూర్తిగా ఏకీభవించినట్లు కనిపించడం లేదు. దాంతో వారు తమ వైపు నుంచి ప్రత్యామ్నాయ దారిని కూడా ప్రతిపాదించినట్లు తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ మేరకు ఓటిటి ప్లాట్ఫారమ్లు నిర్మాతలను సినిమాకు నేరుగా ఓటిటిలో కాకుండా ఖచ్చితంగా ముందుగా థియేటర్లలోనే విడుదల చేయాలని కోరినట్లు సమాచారం. ఆ తరువాత ఆయా సినిమాల ఫలితం ఆధారంగా వారు ఒప్పందం రేటును సర్దుబాటు చేయబోతున్నారట. ఓటిటి సంస్థల ఈ కొత్త ప్రతిపాదనతో నిర్మాతలు ఏమాత్రం సుముఖంగా లేరని వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి.
అయితే ఇక్కడ ఓటిటి సంస్థలను తప్పు బట్టడానికి ఏమీ లేదు. కరోనా నేపథ్యంలో నేరుగా వారి ప్లాట్ఫారం లలో సినిమాలు విడుదలయిన కారణంగా అప్పుడు అధిక ధరకు సినిమాలను కొన్నా బాగానే గిట్టుబాటు అయ్యాయి. అంతే కాకుండా మూడు, నాలుగు వారాల్లోనే సినిమాలు ఓటిటి లోకి వచ్చేయడం కూడా వారికి కలిసి వచ్చింది. ఇప్పుడు నిర్మాతలు ఖచ్చితంగా ఎనిమిది వారాల గడువు నిబంధన విధించడంతో ఓటిటి సంస్థలు కూడా తమ రేట్లు తగ్గించడంలో న్యాయం లేకపోలేదు.
A few weeks ago Tollywood producers’ collective decided to bring a halt to ongoing film shoots. The producers’ association felt TFI collectively needs to reduce the budget to register box-office success. Dil Raju, the president of the Active Telugu Film Producers Guild claimed that the only way to cut down on the budget is by slashing the remunerations of star heroes and directors.
Recently, the strike was called off and certain orders were passed by the producer’s association. “We have decided to extend the window period of OTT release to eight weeks. Hereafter, all the filmmakers will adhere to this rule and there is absolutely no question of flouting the agreement. We are also pursuing the existing agreements and if need be, we will change the terms and conditions with immediate effect,” said Dil Raju.
However, the OTT platforms don’t seem to be in complete agreement with this declaration and they have proposed an alternative. OTT Platforms are asking the Producers to have a theatrical release and based on the movie result they are going to adjust the final digital rate. This plan hasn’t gone down well with the Tollywood producers and it now needs to be seen what final decision is now taken.
