Tamil star hero Dhanush is coming up with ‘Kubera’ directed by Sekhar Kammula alongside Nagarjuna in a crucial role. Dhanush expressed his desire to direct Pawan Kalyan in the Kuberaa Pre-Release Event.

Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa to release on June 20. The pre-release event of the film was held in Hyderabad last night. The event was attended by the entire movie unit. Since Dhanush is also a writer, director, and singer, he was asked who he would direct in Telugu.

Dhanush expressed his desire to direct Pawan Kalyan in the Kuberaa Pre-Release Event. Dhanush also said that he likes Pawan and is his favorite hero in Telugu several times in the past. 

It remains to be seen whether Dhanush-Pawan Kalyan’s film will be possible in the future or not. If this combo is set, then it will be a delight to watch. PSPK fans are excited as Dhanush seems to be very keen on directing their favorite hero. 

This combo can become true if Pawan Kalyan continues acting, as Dhanush is a very strong director, and he makes the film very quickly as well.

The Telangana Government presented the Gaddar Awards on Saturday, June 14th. Stars like Allu Arjun and many others were part of the event. However, Dil Raju is upset with the Big Heroes for not attending the event.

TFDC Chairman Dil Raju Thanks CM Revanth Redd and the Telangana Government

Renowned producer and distributor Dil Raju was appointed as chairman for the Telangana Film Development Corporation by the Telangana government, and now he acts like a bridge between industry and government and plays a crucial role in Gadar awards.

The Bommarillu producer put on a press meet to thank the awardees for the year 2024. He stated that the Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy led the awards by giving special guidance.

Dil Raju also said, as per protocol, the Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, was supposed to be present for an hour at the Gaddar Awards event. 

However, after his arrival, he was present for two hours as per the request. Raju thanked CM Revanth Reddy as he was present at the Gaddar Awards event for 2.15 hours.

Eleven Movie Review: An Average Thriller With Some Good Parts

Eleven Movie is a crime thriller directed by Lokesh Ajls, and stars Naveen Chandra as the lead. The film received average reviews upon its theatrical release, and did not do well at the theatres. Now, it has arrived on OTT on Prime Video and let us see how the film has been shaped up in our review.

Story:

Eleven Movie’s story is about a top cop Aravind (Naveen Chandra) who investigates a series of crimes in Vizag. Aravind discovers a link between the murders and a school called Twin Bird, which admits only twins. Who committed these murders? What happened at the school? The rest of the film answers the above-mentioned questions.

Performances:

Naveen Chandra shines in his character and anchors the film. He finds cop characters easy to portray. Shashank also delivers a good impact as the police officer. The film features Abhirami in a pivotal part, and the actress gives a perfect performance. Reyaa Hari, the female lead, lacks impact as she fails to deliver the required expressions in crucial scenes.

Analysis:

Lokkesh Ajls writes and directs Eleven. The story centers on a murder mystery, but the director includes a twist involving a school for twins. This adds a new perspective to the film. However, the film fails to captivate beyond this point.

It starts on a positive note, but soon the investigation parts are ordinary and do not provide the required intrigue. The flashback episode and the reason for the crimes are impressive, and the emotions also come good.

After the flashback, again the screenplay misses the effect and continues to proceed further with uninteresting parts and ends with a final stunning revelation that could have produced much thrill.

Eleven Movie Review and Verdict:

Amazon Prime Video users will have to encounter more ads while streaming this month. Amazon plans to boost ad load on Prime Video to lower CPM. The users are unhappy as Prime Video introduces up to 6 minutes of ads per hour.

Reportedly, Amazon increased ad load from 3.5 to 6 minutes per hour. This will have a negative impact on how users view content and push advertisers away. AdWeek reports that Amazon Prime Video will increase its ad load to six minutes per hour later this month.

Still, the streaming platform’s ad load remains lower than many OTT platforms, with 13 to 16 minutes of ads per hour. Netflix has the lowest ad load of any streaming service. More ads lead to reduced CPM (cost per mile), which is the fee for every thousand views.

In 2024, Amazon launched its ad tier featuring 3.5 minutes of ads each hour. It will nearly double to six minutes to attract more advertisers. Amazon launched its ad tier last year but limited it due to user backlash. 

Now, Prime Video introduces up to 6 minutes of ads per hour and looks to increase the time given to advertisements to stay competitive with other OTT platforms.

Amazon Prime in India costs Rs. 299 monthly or Rs. 1,499 annually. Users can opt for an ad-free model for Rs. 129 monthly or Rs. 699 annually.
