Shraddha Srinath, the Kannada actress, is well-known to Telugu audiences with films like Jersey, Krishna and His Leela, Saindhav, and Daaku Maharaaj. The actress is all set to come up with a Tamil web series on Netflix.

Titled “The Game,” the upcoming Tamil web series was announced on social media a while ago. The Tamil viewers are eager to watch as Netflix India launches its first Tamil web series this year.

Shraddha Srinath was last seen in Irugapatru, the Tamil romance drama, which is also available for streaming on Netflix. Now she will enthrall the viewers with The Game, which is all about characters and dives into the hidden costs of our hyper-connected lives, kicking off on October 2.

Filmmaker Rajesh M. Selva is at the helm of the project, with Deepthi Govindarajan handling the writing. Shraddha Srinath heads the cast, which also includes Santhosh Prathap, Chandini, Syama Harini, Bala Hasan, Subash Selvam, Viviya Santh, Dheeraj, and Hema in supporting roles.

New GST Rates Effect On Movies

Ever since the announcement of the New GST Tax Regime arrived, the cinephiles were curious to know how it affects the movies’ ticket rates. However, the new GST rates do not have much effect on movies/theaters.

After Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest news about lower GST rates, the GST Council made a big announcement on Wednesday, changing the GST categories for different goods. Starting September 22, 2025, the new rates of 5% and 18% will kick in.

Back in the day, movie tickets priced at Rs 100 or less came with a 12% GST. Now, it’s just 5% in the new and improved slab. But tickets priced over Rs 100 still have an 18% GST rate.

Because of a big 7% cut in GST for tickets under ₹100, ticket prices at single-screen theaters will drop. However, the question is most of the single screens have very few classes that have the ticket rate under Rs 100.

So, the new GST rates will not make much difference to the current movie ticket rating system in Telugu states.

Junior OTT Details

Gaali Janardhan Reddy’s son, Kireeti, made his debut with Junior. The film was released in theaters in July and did some reasonable business at the box office. Junior OTT streaming details are out now.

Directed by Radhakrishna Reddy, the film had a huge budget, with Sree Leela in the lead actress role. DSP composes the music, and Genelia plays a crucial role. The viral Vayyari song went viral on the internet before, but it did not get the desired result.

The digital rights of the film were bought by Prime Video, and Junior will be available on OTT for streaming on Prime Video from tomorrow, according to the buzz. 

The film centers on Abhi, a college student who suffers from the affection of his overprotective father and his own quest for self-discovery. The rest of the story is about how he gets to know the value of his father.

Raj Tarun, the Telugu actor, receives charges from Narsingi police for cheating and giving Lavanya Mannepally the impression of a legal marriage, along with some intimidation.

According to the reports, they both met for the first time in 2008 and got married at the Yellamma Temple in Gachibowli four years later, in 2014. Still, Raj did not register the marriage legally. 

Reportedly, Raj Tarun was dating his co-star Malvi Malhotra, and she, along with her brother Mayank, gave Lavanya some serious threats, leading her to move legally on the actor. 

Cheating Case Against Raj Tarun By Narsingi Police

The reports from police and other closed sources reveal that Raj Tarun got a big assist from Malvi’s parents, who helped him wipe out his debts with almost ₹70 lakh. He was living with Malvi and totally stopped paying for household stuff, like the ₹20,000 a month needed to feed their 15 dogs and 4 cats.

Because of all these incidents, the Narsingi police filed a case on Raj Tarjun for cheating and other applicable charges along with Malvi Malhotra and Mayank Malhotra and stated that they will dig deeper into the case.

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on 25th September. The film received record breaking numbers in Andhra business.

With Akhanda 2 postponement, the film will have a solo big release in theaters, and that is why in Andhra, OG business is doing a sensation. All areas have been sold for record prices for a Pawan Kalyan film by a huge margin.

The East Godavari rights have been taken by Kakinada Janasena MP Uday for 12.80 Cr, and the release will be through Anusree Films.

West Godavari rights are also bought by a Janasena leader for 9.60 Cr, releasing through Aakarsh Films.

Dilraju bought Uttarandhra Rights for 19.20 Cr, while the Guntur Rights are obtained by JPR Films for 14.40 Cr.

Krishna and Nellore area deals are in final negotiations. The entire Andhra business ratio for Pawan Kalyan’s OG is 80 Cr.

Naga Vamsi bags the Ceeded rights, while Dil Raju acquires the Nizam rights. The overall Telugu states’ rights of the film are at 160 Cr. This is one of the biggest business films in the Telugu states.
