Story:
A medical research team finds a dead body and experiments to give back life. They succeed in the experiment but the subject suffers a memory loss. the person then starts the process of finding his past. Who is he and what is his past forms the rest of the story?

Performances:
Ravi Teja gives his best performance in recent times. He is witty and maintains energy throughout the film. Female leads have very less importance in the script with limited screen time. Vennala Kishore once again impresses with his comic act.

Opinion:
The film has an impressive start by engaging the viewer right from the beginning. the first Half of the film is both entertaining and engaging. The interval bang has been designed well. The retro-themed second half lacks perfection in the way it was shot. The serious theme takes back seat and the proceedings become very predictable. Thaman and Karthik Ghattamaneni are major assets to the film. Both music and cinematography are of a high standard. However, they couldn’t hold a poorly narrated second half.

On the whole, Disco raja could have been a much better retro action musical but it ends up being mediocre. Those who are interested in concept-oriented films can give it a try.
