మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి, విజయశాంతి జంటగా నటించిన గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్ (1991) సినిమా ఫిబ్రవరి 11న తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో రీ రిలీజ్ కానుంది. శరత్ కుమార్, మురళీ మోహన్, ఆనందరాజ్, రావుగోపాల్ రావు తదితరులు ఈ చిత్రంలో కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు. విజయ్ బాపినీడు దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఈ చిత్రానికి బప్పీ లాహిరి సంగీతం అందించారు.

తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమలో ఇటీవల రీ రిలీజ్ అయిన ఒకప్పటి ఐకానిక్ సినిమాల జాబితాలో తాజాగా గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్ చేరింది. ఒక్కడు (2003), జల్సా (2008), పోకిరి (2006), ఖుషి (2001) చిత్రాలు ఈ జాబితాలో ఉన్నాయి. సాధారణంగా 4కె ఫార్మాట్ లో రీమాస్టర్ అయిన ఈ సినిమాలు అభిమానుల ఆదరణతో థియేటర్ల వద్ద హౌస్ ఫుల్ బోర్డులతో అంబరాన్ని అంటే సంబరాలకు తెరలేపాయి.

చిరంజీవి నటించిన ఘరానా మొగుడు (1992), గత ఏడాది ఆగస్టు చివర్లో ఆయన పుట్టినరోజు సందర్భంగా థియేటర్లలో రీ రిలీజ్ అయింది. అయితే ఇది కేవలం కొందరు ఔత్సాహిక మెగా అభిమానులకు తప్ప మిగతా ప్రేక్షకుల దృష్టి లోనే పడలేదు.

ఫ్యామిలీ సెంటిమెంట్, రొమాన్స్, అద్భుతమైన సాంగ్స్, బోలెడంత కిక్ ఇచ్చే యాక్షన్ సీక్వెన్స్ ఇలా అన్నీ మేళవించిన గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్ సినిమా అప్పట్లో ఆల్ టైమ్ బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ గా నిలిచింది. గత మూడు దశాబ్దాలుగా కమర్షియల్ సినిమాల ఫార్ములాకు ఒక దిక్సూచిగా నిలవడమే కాక యాక్షన్ హీరోగా చిరంజీవి స్టార్ ఇమేజ్ కు కల్ట్ ఫాలోయింగ్ ను కూడా ఈ చిత్రం తెచ్చి పెట్టింది.

ఈ సంక్రాంతికి విడుదలై ఘన విజయం సాధించిన వాల్తేరు వీరయ్య సినిమాతో మంచి ఊపు మీద ఉన్న మెగా అభిమానులు ఈ రీ రిలీజ్ ను సీరియస్ గా తీసుకుని ఖచ్చితంగా భారీ స్థాయిలో ఫ్యాన్ షోలు, సంబరాలు ప్లాన్ చేస్తారని భావిస్తున్నారు.

Chiranjeevi’s all time blockbuster Gang Leader re releasing in next week

Gang Leader, the 1991 action entertainer starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Vijayashanti, will be re-released on February 11 in the Telugu states. The film also stars Sarath Kumar, Murali Mohan, Anandraj and Rao Gopal Rao in supporting roles. Directed by Vijay Bapineedu the film’s music is composed by Bappi Lahiri.

Gang Leader is the latest film to join the list of iconic yesteryear movies to have a re-release. Other such films on the list are Okkadu (2003), Jalsa (2008), Pokiri (2006) and Kushi (2001). These films, usually remastered to the 4K format, opened to housefuls and celebrations by the fans all over.

Chiranjeevi’s last film to have a re-release was Gharana Mogudu (1992), which ran in theaters last year around the time of his birthday in late August. However it wasn’t noticed by the audience except for a few mega fans.

Gang Leader film was an all-time blockbuster which was blended with family sentiment, romance, excellent songs and a lot of kick ass action sequences. Over the last three decades, the film has had a cult following for reviving the formula of commercial films and Chiranjeevi’s perception as an action hero.

With the latest success of Waltair Veerayya, the Mega fans are expected to take this re-release seriously and definitely they will plan massive fan shows and celebrations all over.

The sensational RRR crosses 50 Crores gross mark in Japan

RRR has finished fifteen weeks of box office run in Japan and has passed over Rs. 50 crores until date. SS Rajamouli directed action epic starring Ram Charan and NTR was released in Japan in October last year. Since then, it has continued to gather at constant levels for weeks and has recently reported an enormous growth in collections because of awards season buzz.

The fifteenth week has been the biggest for the film since its release as it witnessed a powerful jump by collecting JPY 121 million Approx, beating the past best of JPY 110 million in the fourteenth week.

RRR is nominated for “Best Foreign Language Film” at the 46th Japan Academy Film Prize along with Hollywood films Top Gun: Maverick, Spider-man: No Way Home, Avatar: The Way of Water and CODA. A win there could much push the film’s numbers in the market. The winners will be announced next month on March 10th.

రచయిత/దర్శకుడు త్రివిక్రమ్ తన అద్భుతమైన సంగీత అభిరుచికి పేరుగాంచారు, కాగా ఆయన తన సినిమాల్లోని తన పాటలలోని లిరిక్స్ విషయంలో కూడా చాలా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటారు. తన కెరీర్ మొత్తంలో గొప్ప ఆడియో లేని సినిమా ఏదీ లేదు. ఆయన ట్రాక్ రికార్డ్ ఎంత గొప్పది అని తెలుసుకోవడానికి ఈ ఒక్క విషయం చాలు.

అరవింద సమేత, అల వైకుంఠపురములో చిత్రాలతో త్రివిక్రమ్ తో కలిసి పని చేసిన థమన్ తన బెస్ట్ వర్క్ అందించారు. అల వైకుంఠపురములో సినిమాకి బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ ఆల్బమ్ అందించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఇక అరవింద సమేత సినిమాలో అంత గొప్ప ఆల్బమ్ లేకపోయినా థమన్ అందించిన నేపథ్య సంగీతానికి ప్రశంసలు దక్కాయి. కాబట్టి సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబుతో సినిమా చేయబోతున్న ఈ కాంబో నుంచి ప్రేక్షకులు ఎక్కువ ఆశించడం సహజమే.

అయితే తాజాగా SSMB 28 గురించి వస్తున్న వార్తలను నమ్మితే త్రివిక్రమ్, థమన్ ల మధ్య సమన్వయం సరిగ్గా కుదరలేదని తెలుస్తోంది. ఫిబ్రవరి మొదటి వారంలో ఓ సాంగ్ షూట్ చేయాలని చిత్ర బృందం ప్లాన్ చేసినా థమన్ ట్యూన్ నచ్చని త్రివిక్రమ్.. మ్యూజిక్ పై మళ్ళీ పని చేయమని థమన్ కు సూచించారట.

Dhamaka director in talks for Chiranjeevi’s next project

After Bhola Shankar Chiranjeevi has not finalized any script nor okayed any director for his next film. He had talks with Venky kudumula and some other directors but nothing has been materialized until now. The latest reports have at it that Chiranjeevi is in talks with Dhamaka director Trinadha Rao Nakkina for a film.

It appears like after his re-entry into the films, megastar Chiranjeevi has worked with younger directors. He worked with the likes of Meher Ramesh, Bobby, and Mohan Raja in his previous films. Now, once again, he has set eyes on a successful director as per the latest news in the industry.

It is being reported that after watching Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka film, Chiranjeevi called the director Trinadha Rao and they both even discussed a probable project. Trinadh Rao had already worked on a line which is suitable for Megastar, and he asked for a detailed narration according to the reports.
