Minster Malla Reddy says he denied the main villain role opportunity in Pawan Kalyan’s film

Telangana Labour and Employment Minister Malla Reddy shared interesting news that he was offered a villain role in Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s film. We know that the movie ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ is being made in the combination of Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar. Malla Reddy stated that Director Harish Shankar approached him for the villain role in the movie.

Minister Malla Reddy said that Director Harish Shankar came to his house and requested him for one and a half hour to act as a villain opposite Pawan Kalyan, but he did not agree to the proposal. While Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently doing four films, he completed the shooting of one film yesterday (March 25).

We know that the remake of Vinodhaya Sitham, starring Pawan along with Sai Dharam Tej, has started recently. Pawan will be seen as God in this film, and he completed the talky portion of himself. Now he will take part in the shooting of ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ from April 5. This movie is being directed by Harish Shankar.

Needless to say, the Gabbar Singh film that came in the combination of Pawan and Harish became a massive blockbuster, and it is one of the favorite films of Pawan Kalyan fans. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for another film in the same combination.

Because of this, huge expectations are placed on Ustaad Bhagat Singh. It is being reported that this film will be made as a remake of the Tamil super hit movie ‘Theri’. Mahendran appeared as a villain in the Tamil Version. Telangana minister Mallareddy himself informed that Harish Shankar approached for this role, but he didn’t agree to it.

Orange re-release is a big success

The decision to re-release Ram Charan’s Orange was initially met with skepticism. Many fans argued that it would be wiser to release Charan’s other films which have been actual commercial hits. While Orange does have chartbuster music, the film failed terribly at the box office during its initial release and fans feared something similar on its re-release as well.

However, much to everyone’s surprise, the film did pretty well on its re-entry to the theatres. Orange has registered massive occupancies in maximum areas and most of the shows are housefuls. The team planned and executed the re-release pretty well. Firstly, they opened the screening for limited shows and with the demand, they went on to continuously increase the show numbers.

Orange was directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and starred Ram Charan and Genelia in the lead roles. Produced by Naga Babu, the film was released back in 2010 amidst heavy expectations as it was Charan’s next release after the industry hit Magadheera. For various reasons, the film failed to attract the audience to the theatres and merged as the biggest failure of Charan’s career. The music went on to become an instant chartbuster and is still a favorite album of many even today.

Allu Arjun fans utterly disappointed with his PR team

With the re-release of Orange, the topic of re-screening older films of the heroes has once again come up. While every top hero has had a re-release, the only one missing out on this trend is Icon Star Allu Arjun. And this has frustrated many fans who are now lashing out at his PR team. Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Prabhas have all had re-releases now and even senior actors like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna also had re-releases.

Every fan group is now celebrating their favourite hero’s birthday by re-releasing old films and celebrating in theatres. Seeing this trend, a few months back, Allu Arjun’s PR team announced that Desamuduru will be re-released on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday on 8th April.

With his birthday coming up, there is still no update from the team and now they are disappointed with the PR team’s response. Several fans are in dilemma as for them it was a big prestige issue. When asked about the update on re-release on Desamuduru, the fans were given a negative response.

Allu Arjun has several films in his filmography that can be re-released and fans can enjoy them in theatres. A few months back there were demands for special shows of Arya and Desamuduru. With Desamuduru being a more massy one, fans are eager to catch it on big screens and enjoy it just like the fans of other heroes.
