Sri Reddy who declared herself as a female protagonist always wanted to be a part of headlines and grab the public attention. A few months ago she made controversial comments on many industry people pretending to raise her voice against casting couch. She did not even hesitate to make herself naked as a part of this protest. Later she was arrested under nuisance case for creating a disturbance among the public by removing clothes.

Again yesterday she made some meaningless comments on Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna using abusive words. She responded over Bollywood actor Sushanth’s death and posted her views on social media account. She mentioned every industry has nepotism and compared the death of Sushant with late Tollywood actor Uday Kiran. She also stated Movie legends like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Bollywood’s Khan and Kapoor families neither have guts nor shame as they killed new talents.

When Keerthy Suresh asked about her role in Penguin she replied that she is playing a mom role in this physiological thriller where she has a scope to exhibit different emotions. When she was asked about the reason for taking a long gap after a huge blockbuster she said that she rejected nearly 20 women-centric films and going on with good characters. Now she is having a couple of films like Nithin’s Rangde, Miss India and a few more. She also said that she is ready to cut down her remuneration up to 30% due to this pandemic situation.
Due to the Corona virus outbreak Theaters across the world were shutdown. In India major multiplex chains stopped their services from March 12th itself. Telugu States single-screen theaters were closed from March 18th and it has been nearly 70 days since theaters shut down.
Central Government has given exceptions to all types of industries but not to the entertainment Industry. While there were speculations about the re-opening of Theater from August 1st, it seems not possible going by the current situation. Recently Tollywood leading Producer/ Distributor/Exhibitor Suresh Babu stated that they are in no plans of re-opening theaters for more than 2 months. He also added that not only him but also no other Producer who owns theaters were not interested in opening Theaters as of now. Suresh Babu is currently producing 4 films under Suresh Productions banner and none of the films has resumed its shoot. As state governments have given permissions for film & TV shoots few producers are gearing to resume their shoot and few others are waiting for the situation to settle down. As of one only one film from Tollywood resumed their shooting.
Balakrishna who has been waiting for a successful film for a long time has teamed up with Boyapati Srinu for his next. This will be the third film in their combination after Simha and Legend. Both Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu are waiting to come up with a strong comeback with this film.
Recently the team of #BB3 has released a small teaser with a powerful dialogue that got tremendous response. Though the title has been fixed the team hasn’t announced it yet. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on Sunday. He had been under stress and depression for the last few months and undergone treatment for that.
His last rites were carried out on Monday evening attended by his family members and a few Bollywood stars such as Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma, director Abhishek Kapoor and his wife Pragya, Vivek Oberoi and Mukesh Chhabra. Today Politician Sanjay Nirupam responding over the sudden death of Sushant has tweeted that Sushant Singh Rajput lost seven films in just six months even after scoring a hit like ‘Chhichhore’ and he also alleged the ruthlessness actions of some industry persons left a talented actor killing himself. Many actors and producers stand by saying that only a few leading Production houses in Bollywood will be deciding the fate of any artist. Last month Amazon Prime acquired the digital rights of Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi and Netflix managed to acquire Janhvi Kapoor starer Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Now, it’s Disney Plus Hotstar’s turn. Hotstar locked the digital rights of 9 Bollywood projects and an official announcement will be made soon. The promotion team of Hotstar is planning a new way of promos called Har Shukravaar Blockbuster Ka Vaar. So, a new premier is expected on every Friday for the coming 9 weeks.
Diving into the details of these movies, “Four films from Fox Star Production Laxmi Bomb, Sadak 2, Dil Bechara and Lootcase are going to be premiered, two films produced by Ajay Devgn including Bhuj: The Pride of India; three women-centric films from producer Dinesh Vijan Roohi Afzana, Mimi and Shiddat, and also a film from T Series named Khuda Hafiz has been locked in for packed nine-week- show on Hotstar. The above mentioned will be premiered every Friday one after the other. As Ajay Devgn is busy Today and hence the official announcement will be made tomorrow along with the release dates,” confirms an industry source. Some of these films are left with pending of a few days of shoot and post-production and hence they will be premiered on the last weeks of the schedule.

M.S Dhoni – Untold Story a biopic on Dhoni that released in the year 2016 made Sumanth Singh Rajput a well-known actor and he became much closer to the audience with his last film Chhichhore. His upcoming film Dil Bechara which is adopted from “The fault in our stars” has completed all its shootings part and was scheduled to release on 8th May. Due to Lockdown, the film could not find its theatrical release, and makers of this film have decided to go on with the direct digital release. Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the digital rights of this film for a fancy price, Makers thought of making an official announcement regarding digital Release tomorrow (i.e on Tuesday) but due to his sudden dismissal announcement will be made later. As per industry buzz, this film was planned for digital streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from 2nd July. But now we have to wait for the official announcement from the producer’s team. Dil Bechara also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan, and was directed by Mukesh Chhabra, produced by Fox Star Studios.
Natural Star Nani who is currently working for his upcoming film Tuck Jagadish has opened up about V The Movie Release. V is Nani’s 25th Film where Sudheer Babu will also be seen in the lead role.
Actually V The Movie was scheduled to release on 25th March 2020. But due to Corona outbreak Theaters have been closed from 18th March itself though lockdown was implemented from 22nd March. In April, there were many rumors about V movie release that it will be directly released on the OTT Platform. But we at Track Tollywood have reported about that news earlier. Now as many films were going for direct OTT release and few Telugu makers are also in talks with OTT platforms, Nani has clearly said that V will be having its theatrical release first and later on it will be streaming on OTT platform. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao will be seen as lead actress opposite Nani and Sudheer Babu. While Amit Trivedi composed music, this film is directed by Mohan Krishna Indrganti and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
