Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Ravanasura released this week, and the film received mixed response on the opening day, but it hold well at the box office. However, the movie saw a huge drop on the second day at the box office.
The film had a decent opening on the first day and collected around 4.4 Crores’ share in the Telugu states and the worldwide number will be close to 5 Crores. However, on the second day it saw a dip in the numbers and collected only 2.2 Crores from the Telugu States. The theatricals of Ravanasura are valued at 23.5 Crores and the movie needs a big jump to achieve the breakeven status.
Ravi Teja’s unique characterization, coupled with Sudheer Verma’s interesting plot had intrigued the audience towards Ravanasura. The Mass Maharaja was in a terrific form and everyone expected him to score a hat-trick after Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya.
Ravi Teja’s RT Teamworks and Abhishek Nama are bankrolling Ravanasura directed by Sudheer Verma. Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems Ceciroleo are composing music for this action thriller, which also stars Daksha Nagarkar, Faria Abdullah, Sushant, Megha Akash, and Poojita Ponnada.
The movie tells us the story of Ravi (Ravi Teja) who’s a criminal lawyer. He stumbles upon a case of Harika (Megha Akash) and shows a great deal of interest in it. At the same time, a series of murders are happening in the city. What connection has Ravi with these murders is what Ravanasura explores.
