NTR 30 Production Progressing at a Rapid Pace, Finishes the 2nd Schedule

NTR is currently busy working on his next movie, tentatively titled NTR 30. Directed by Koratala Siva, NTR 30 has managed to create a buzz among the masses since the first announcement video was published long ago. The fans of NTR are eagerly waiting to see their favorite hero on the big screen. The good news is that the film’s production is going in a fast-paced mode.

The production of NTR 30 is progressing at a rapid pace. The second schedule has finished recently, and after a 15 day break the third schedule will commence. It is also being said that the plans are on to release first look and a small teaser for NTR’S birthday. The team has taken a lot of time for pre-production which is helping the team to finish the schedules as they had planned and NTR also wants to finish this movie shooting by October and to move on to the sets of War 2.

The team recruited great Hollywood technicians to look after the stunts and visuals. Koratala Siva had ensured fans of NTR at the Pooja ceremony that NTR 30 would be his best work to date. NTR fans are waiting to see their favorite hero in another massive, successful film after a mammoth hit like RRR.

Mikkilineni Sudhakar and Hari Krishna K are producing the film under the banners of Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The film marks Jahnvi Kapoor Telugu debut. Sreekar Prasad is the editor of the project. Ratnavelu is handling the cinematography and production design will be handled by Sabu Cyril. After scoring a super hit film for this year’s Pongal with Thunivu, Aith was expected to work with Vignesh Shivan but the project did not materialise due to the differences regrading the script. After that, there was no official announcement About AK 62, which made fans worried, and they were eagerly waiting for an update about the film.

Finally, the update of Thala Ajith’s new film will be coming on the occasion of his birthday [1st May]. The director of the film is said to be Magizh Thirumeni and Lyca Productions banner is bankrolling it. The Title and cast announcement is expected to be made along with a first look poster tonight or tomorrow morning as Ajith’s birthday special.

Magizh Thirumeni has directed successful action thrillers like Thadam, Kalaga Thalaivan and has created a separate identity for himself when it comes to this genre.

Ajith’s last film, Thunivu was a super hit at the box office. Released for Pongal, Thunivu received direct competition from Vijay’s Varisu. While both the movies received mixed reviews, the star power of both Vijay and Ajith managed to get their respective films to the solid box office performance.

The action entertainer co-starring Samuthirakani and Manju Warrior was headlined by Ajith’s amazing screen presence and pacy narration by H Vinoth. These factors managed to get the audience attention. After Thunivu, news emerged about the combination of Ajith and Vignesh Shivan but the combo couldn’t materialise and the director faced an abrupt exit from the film.

Vignesh Shivan had revealed the reasons behind his exit and said that the second half of the film didn’t satisfy the producer, which led to various creative differences.

Akhil and his fans had massive hopes on the film’s result, but Agent has disappointed everyone and is on the way to becoming a big disaster at the box office. After receiving a disaster talk from the audience, the film completely crashed and burned at the box office.

The movie witnessed a historical drop at the box office on the second day and collected just 70 lakhs share worldwide. The film will end as the biggest disaster in Akhil’s career and one of the biggest disasters in Tollywood. The budget of the film is said to be more than 80 Crores and the theatrical business is done for 37 Crores.

This disastrous result of Agent has severely affected Akkineni fans as they vented out their frustration on social media. They criticized Akhil and Surender Reddy for delivering such a miserable content in the film. Despite being a summer release, Agent is unable to use the advantage because of lackluster content and terrible talk.

Agent has been produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, with Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy, performed as executive producers. The film has been edited by National Award winner Naveen Noolii while Rasool Ellore cranked the camera. Malayalam Megastar Mammootty and Bollywood Actor Dino Morea appeared in key roles in the movie. Sakshi Vaidya is the female lead and Hip-hop Tamizha is the music director of the film.

Renowned Director Teja is known for his honesty, and occasionally he brings a new standpoint on a subject and once again he has done that. Director Teja interviewed Gopichand for the latter’s new movie Rama Banam promotions, but more than the movie or Gopichand, Teja’s words went viral on social media.

Teja said he’s got a big complaint about popcorn rates in multiplexes. Teja claimed that it is the price of popcorn in multiplexes that is killing the movies. Teja said that the price of popcorn and other foods in multiplexes has very much increased and exceeded than the actual price of the cinema ticket.

Teja further stated that the prices of coke and popcorn are inaccessible to a common man in multiplexes. He stated that many believe that it was OTT or television that killed the Hindi cinema in Mumbai, but it was the popcorn that did it. However, Popcorn could not kill Telugu Cinema because we have a single screens culture here, he said. Teja said that he recommends everyone to go to single screens to watch the movies.

Teja firmly stated that the screen is bigger in single screens whereas multiplexes have small size screens, adding to that, the exorbitant pricing of Popcorn is killing the viewing experience of Cinema.

Director Harish Shankar also tweeted this portion of the interview, highlighting the need to deal with it. As Teja mentioned, the prices of popcorn, coke, nachos, and french fries scare families away from multiplexes, and that’s something we need to focus on.

Though there is a truth in what Teja said, some people on social media disagreed with it, saying that a movie being released on OTT in less than 30 days after theatrical release is the main reason for the weak footfalls at theaters. There is also a view that ticket prices also have an impact on cinema, even on some single screens.

The latest movie of Akhil Akkineni, Agent, came out on the big screens on April 28. The film was delayed several times during the pandemic, but it eventually came out on Friday. The Akkineni fans had high hopes for the movie, but the film is on the way to becoming a miserable box office failure, with terrible response from the critics and audience. Akhil’s mother, Amala Akkineni, reacted to the trolls on Agent.

She supported Akhil and shared that despite the film’s shortcomings, she liked it. Amala, who was married to Nagarjuna, is also an actress. She said she watched the movie in a crowded theater where half the population was female. She took to social media and shared a quote that read, “Creativity is especially expressed in the ability to make connections, to make associations, to turn things around and express them in a new way – Tim Hansen.”

She wrote, “I understand that trolling comes from a deeper insecurity and need for achievement. I watched Agent yesterday and honestly enjoyed the film. While it has its flaws, if you watch it with an open mind, you will be amazed. The hall I watched it at was packed, half of the audience were ladies, mothers, and grandmother’s along with their husbands and sons! There were screams when the action happened. And I am sure the next one will be bigger and better (in the original).”

The response from Amala was supported by a few netizens, while some said she could have ignored the trolls on Agent and stayed away from the online negativity.

After the massive success of Waltair Veerayya, Mega Star Chiranjeevi is treading cautiously. He is making a conscious effort to add more entertainment value to his movies and steer away from serious movies like the Godfather and Acharya. The failure of Acharya in particular has forced Chiranjeevi to keep away from star directors and instead give a chance to new directors who would take his input in every aspect of filmmaking.

It is very well known to everyone that Chiranjeevi is currently working for Bhola Shankar under the direction of Meher Ramesh. The film will be released on August 11, 2023. After Bhola Shankar, it is almost confirmed that Chiranjeevi has will work with the Bimbisara director Mallidi Vasishta for his next film. The project is expected to be announced officially in a few days. This film will be a socio-fantasy project and will be backed by UV creations.
