2018 Movie makers are trying to postpone the OTT release

Malayalam Survival Thriller 2018, which has emerged as a massive blockbuster all over is on a record-breaking spree not just in Kerala but in other territories as well. The Telugu version of the 2018 movie was released in Telugu states following amazing feedback for the Malayalam version and has been performing very well here as well. The film has already achieved all-time blockbuster status in Mollywood.

While the film is having a great time at the box office, the sudden announcement of its OTT release on June 7 by the OTT platform Sonyliv has put a break on the film’s box office streak. The decision to release the film on OTT so early has definitely hampered the collections. Now it is being reported that the makers of 2018 Movie are trying to postpone the OTT release as it disturbing the good run at the box office.

Telugu Senior Producer Allu Aravind who was present at the success meet of Telugu version, also expressed the same opinion. He said that, along with Bunny Vas he requested 2018 Movie producers to request the concerned platform to delay the film’s debut on OTT. “After watching the reception and response, they are also trying to postpone the OTT debut of the film by two weeks” Allu Aravind said.

The film features a massive ensemble cast comprising Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, and Narain among others. Jude Anthony Joseph directed this film, which was well appreciated for its thrilling elements and natural depiction of the 2018 floods.

Anasuya Bharadwaj plays the role of a prostitute named Sumathi who is good at heart. While the whole world has lusted over her, the moment in which she knows that there is someone who loves her purely for what she is, she is stunned. Will Adipurush open bigger than RRR in Hindi markets

Prabhas and Om Raut’s most awaited movie, Adipurush is all set to be released on June 16th worlwide. The film is just 2 weeks away from its theatrical release and the Hindi trade circles are now set to predict the day 1 numbers of Adipurush in Hindi. The main question in everyone’s mind can the movie open bigger than RRR, SS Rajamouli’s Magnum Opus.

RRR had collected the recent best opening in Hindi markets for Telugu movie stars with 19 Crores net in India. With Saaho Prabhas created a sensation in the Hindi market with more than 25 Crores opening but his next film, Radheshyam had severely disappointed him. Now Adipurush is expected to open with good numbers at the north box office as the new trailer and songs worked very well for the movie.

The early expectations of the trade circles are around 20 Crores opening, which is slightly higher opening than RRR. North audience are expected to come in bigger number to see Adipurush if the word of mouth comes positive on day 1.

At first, the movie did not get the required buzz around it, but in the recent days the unit of Adipurush has managed to get the craze with good promotions. Now, with the second song also getting a splendid response, the team of Adipurush will be much delighted. Let’s wish that the movie will become a huge blockbuster indeed and creates many records at the overall Indian box office.

Adipurush is directed by Om Raut and produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon appears as Janaki. Sunny Singh plays the role of Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage plays Lord Hanuman. Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Raavan. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in theaters on June 16, 2023.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani recently confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller Don’s third installment is now under production. There has been speculation for some time that SRK won’t participate in Don 3 even though producer and director Farhan Akhtar is currently revising the script for the film.

Ranveer Singh and a few other actors were reportedly vying for Shah Rukh Khan’s Don role. After going through various options, the makers of the film have concluded to cast  Ranveer Singh as the Don character for this high-budget project Don 3.

The producers of Don 3 looked for the perfect replacement once Shah Rukh exited the franchise. The team wants to continue Don’s legacy and do complete justice to this massive franchise. Ranveer has consistently been a favourite of Excel Entertainment, and he has been in many of their successful films, such as Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy.

According to reports, Ranveer has already participated in a look test and a promotional clip has also been shot for the Don 3 announcement. The netizen have given mostly negative reactions to this move. 

The first part of Don was released back in 2006 and Don 2 hit the screens in 2011. For more than a decade, fans have been requesting Farhan Akhtar for Don 3. But this change of lead has come as a complete shock for many.

Official: Bellamkonda Sreenivas joining hands with Bheemla Nayak director

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has joined hands with Sagar K Chandra, the director of Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak. The Pooja ceremony of BSS10 was held today and the event was graced by blockbuster directors Harish Shankar and Parasuram Petla. The film’s regular shoot Will begin in the second week of June. It is the 10th movie of Sai Sreenivas career and tentatively titled BSS10.

As said above, the movie is written and directed by Sagar K Chandra, who had previously directed “Bheemla Nayak” starring Pawan Kalyan and Daggubati Rana. The film was released in last year’s February. After Bheemla Nayak Sagar did not work for any movie. It is said that many other top-class actors will appear in important roles in this movie. The movie is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus Entertainments banner. The rest of the cast and crew details will be revealed soon.

It is very well known to everyone that Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas had acted in the Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ Chatrapati movie which was released in 2005, under the direction of VV Vinayak. However, his ambitious attempt to score a big blockbuster in Bollywood did not succeed.

Chatrapathi (2023) received a disastrous response to say the least. The film had collected RS 45 Lakhs Net on its first day and the share was zero. This is a proof that the Bollywood audience has completely rejected the movie. With this result, Chatrapathi had taught a big lesson to many Tollywood Heroes who are in a delusion that they can be successful in Bollywood. It is very well known to everyone that Superstar Mahesh Babu and Wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas are collaborating for the third time with their upcoming film, Guntur Kaaram which also happens to be the 28th movie of Mahesh. Until the title was announced yesterday by the makers, the movie got popular with the working title of SSMB28. Guntur Kaaram is all set to do huge theatrical business.

The combination of Hero and Director has already made this movie the craziest project and after the release of glimpse, the hype has gone on to the next level. There is no need for a special mention of how big is the brand of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram. Guntur Kaaram’s glimpse has released yesterday and it’s received an excellent response.

The trade circles expect the film to do very huge theatrical business. In Andhra [6 Territories] the business ratio is expected to be around 60 Crores and in the Nizam it will be valued around 45 Crores and the film is expected to do an overall business of 120 – 125 Crores in the Telugu states and from Overseas and ROI the numbers are expected to be around 30 Crores. Overall, the film is all set to do huge theatrical business of more than 150 Crores.

Till now, excluding Rajamouli films, only Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has crossed this 150 Crore share mark in Telugu and Guntur Kaaram is carrying superb buzz in the audiences and trade circles as well. So, the film can become the second film to achieve the 150 Crores Share mark.

After a 12 years gap, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are coming together with this movie, and the superstar fans have piled up massive expectations on the result of Guntur Kaaram. Let’s wish that the movie becomes a superb, successful venture for all the parties involved.

Allu Aravind has appreciated Bunny Vas for releasing 2018 Movie in Telugu in the success meet, He also appreciated director Chandoo Mondeti by saying he is very honest and will stand on commitments. “Even before Karthikeya 2 was released, we have booked director Chandoo for 2 movies. Even after Karthikeya 2 was such a massive success, and he got big offers still he stood on his promise and there are some directors who will change immediately with just one success (Referring to Parasuram Petla)” said Allu Aravind.

Because the director had announced his next with Vijay Deverakonda under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Productions, when he already took a huge sum from Allu Aravind to direct Geetha Govindam’s sequel under Geetha Arts. The ace producer felt very bad about it, and he indirectly criticized Parasuram by praising Chandoo Mondeti.
