When all the things were looking perfect for Prabhas – Om Raut’s mythological drama Adipurush, a big Controversy once again disturbed the flow of the way things were going. On Wednesday, director Om Raut and Kriti Sanon were spotted at Kriti Sanon and Om Raut visited Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati on the morning of June 7.

After having a darshan, the two hugged each other and Raut was seen kissing Kriti goodbye as she left in her car in Tirupati for darshan. In a video which is now viral, we see the filmmaker kissing Kriti on her cheek as he says goodbye to her. This did not go well with some netizens and BJP State Secretary Ramesh Naidu Nagothu, who commented against it.

Offended by the public display of affection, the BJP leader questioned if it was necessary. The tweet now stands deleted. Some netizens too voiced the same opinion and stated Kriti Sanon and Om Raut should have been careful. However, another section of netizens was supportive of the actress and director and said there was no need to create controversy. Overall, we can say that this kind of goodbye kisses are very common for celebrities, but doing in a place like Tirupati has got both of them on the wrong side.

Later, about his visit to the temple, director Om Raut said, “After coming to the temple, I felt extremely amazing. It felt nice. We had a great darshan this morning. Yesterday, we put out the trailer. It’s a mesmerizing feeling and I cannot put it into words.”

It was a wonderful show at the pre-release event in Tirupati last night with the entire team of Adipurush comprising Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Om Raut releasing the final trailer of the film which received a thunderous response.

Now Heroes have started involving in production in the Telugu Film Industry. Most of the stars are making small – medium budget films in their production with an intention of encouraging new talented directors and actors. Now the inside reports strongly suggest that NTR is also in the same plan. Following the humongous success of his last release, RRR, the actor also received worldwide recognition. The film even won an Oscar in the Best Original Song Category. According to the reports, the star has plans to produce movies as well.

NTR reportedly decided to start a new production house and produce small or medium budget films. It is being reported that he will collaborate with his brother Kalyan Ram on the banner and produce films for theaters and OTT as well. Kalyan Ram already owns a production house named NTR Arts, but NTR wants a new banner on his name that will only thrive to make fresh films and will also launch new faces and content for the audience.

Recently, Mega Power Star Ram Charan has also launched a production house together with UV Creations. He also announced a film named The Indian House, starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupam Kher in the lead roles. Apart from Ram Charan, star heroes like Mahesh Babu and Nani have also started their own production houses and are looking to back fresh and exciting content.

Off late, small budget films with good content have been performing well at the box office. So more and more people in the industry are coming together to support them and are prepared to produce them.

NTR is currently working on Devara, under the direction of Koratala Siva. Official : Naga Chaitanya’s Custody is streaming on OTT from this weekend

Naga Chaitanya’s movie Custody is all set to arrive at OTT platform soon. The Venkat Prabhu directorial will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 9. The bilingual film was released in theaters during May 2023, and it became a big failure at the box office in both Telugu and Tamil languages. However, a section of audiences liked the movie for its thrilling content. Krithi Shetty is the female lead in the movie.

Custody, the film, marks the first-ever collaboration between Hero Naga Chaitanya and Director Venkat Prabhu. The film consists of a massive star cast such as Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj and Ramki in crucial roles.

The film’s music and background score have been composed by Illayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is the first time that they both have worked on a film, while the cinematography was handled by SR Kathir. Naga Chaitanya fans and the theater owners in the Telugu States had piled up big hopes on Custody’s result, but the film did not live up to the expectations. This looks like an intentional strategy from the unit of Adipurush to keep the role of Ravana as a secret.
