There have been many arrests which took place already in the same cases. Now, the target is set on Ram Gopal Varma it seems. Karthik Aryan doing the unthinkable

0

This Diwali season had two Bollywood films released. One was Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role and the other was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Karthik Aryan. These films were at a clash at the box office as well. Many thought that Singham Again which also had a big star cast filled with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone would have a comfortable and huge lead over Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which had no big star cast. But, Karthik Aryan did the unthinkable at the box office shocking all.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had a great opening on par with Singham Again and showed no stopping sign since the opening day. It also entered the 100 crore club in no time and touched the 200 and 300 crore clubs as well. This has greatly shocked the trade analysts and Bollywood audience as well. No one expected a Karthik Aryan starrer to take on Half of Bollywood’s lead star cast film this way. So much so that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is still leading way above than Singham Again even after Diwali.

Makers of Singham Again felt very confident about the film which had a Ramayana theme based on it. But Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 being a comedy and horror based flick showed its stamina surprisingly. This is indeed a great achievement for Karthik Aryan who wants to prove himself in Bollywood. He would now see himself going even further in the race there.

Major Hurdles for Kanguva

0

The highly anticipated Kollywood film Kanguva, made on a massive budget, was initially promised to have a record-breaking release across all areas. However, a few significant challenges have begun to emerge as the release date approaches.

Firstly, the timing has raised eyebrows. Set for a mid-November launch, Kanguva is releasing on a Thursday—typically considered an off-peak period for movies with no holidays to boost footfall. Releasing in the middle of the week could impact initial viewership numbers.

Adding to the challenges is the success of competing films. Amaran has taken the box office by storm, marking one of the biggest Kollywood weekends, while Lucky Bhaskar is also performing well in Tamil Nadu. With these hits monopolizing screens, securing ample screenings for Kanguva is proving challenging. Furthermore, exhibitors seem hesitant due to the high percentage demands from the producers.

The situation is even more competitive across other regions. In Telugu states, three Diwali releases are still running strong, and Matka will release on the same date. In the Hindi-speaking market, Singam Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 remain popular. This fierce competition leaves Kanguva struggling to capture a large release across territories.

Despite these obstacles, the film carries positive early reports. However, with low advance bookings and competition in each territory, Kanguva will need strong word of mouth and positive reviews to turn things around.

Cry or Controversy: Buzz-Creation Tactics

0

A recent trend in the Telugu film industry has sparked debate, especially among small and medium-budget filmmakers. Many actors and crew members from these films are turning to tactics that rely on sympathy or controversy to create buzz. This often involves targeting prominent figures or big stars within the industry, a move increasingly seen at pre-release events.

This shift has raised concerns, with many people feeling that some stars are deliberately using these methods to gain attention for their films. Instead of focusing on innovative promotions or highlighting their film’s quality, these efforts tend to draw attention by referencing respected figures within the industry, which some view as a negative trend. Major figures in the industry have already started to push back against these tactics, though the practice has yet to fade away.

Recently, smaller heroes have started voicing complaints about the lack of support from influential figures in the industry, creating sympathy for themselves. Some are bringing up various controversies at pre-release events and making provocative statements. While this is not new, it has increased significantly in recent times; we now see it happening with nearly every small or medium film release.

SJ Suryah’s setbacks with Shankar

0

SJ Suryah is currently the most in-demand actor of both Tollywood and Kollywood. The Actor showed exemplary acting skills from many films and got himself a cult following among audience. The Actor, however, didn’t make his mark in the direction of renowned Director Shankar. SJ Suryah has received poor setbacks with Shankar’s direction.

SJ Suryah portrayed the antagonist role in Shankar’s Indian 2 which released this year. The Actor was of a billionaire but didn’t impress any. There was no impact created by this character alike his previous ones leading to many trolls and criticism. The character also ended up as his worst performed one in his career. He is also now getting trolled for the character he played in Game Changer, also directed by Shankar.

SJ Suryah appearance seemed funny and troll worthy in the teaser of Game Changer. It can be clearly understood that it is an antagonist role but he looked non-serious because of his look. Many netizens have already come down heavily on Shankar for his poor dealing of a great actor like SJ Suryah. They doubt if it was really Shankar who is doing this back to back with SJ Suryah. We will have to see how the response would be after the release of Game Changer for this character.

0

Amaran is on a phenomenal box office run, hitting sensational numbers over its second weekend. For 11 days the film has collected around 242 Cr gross worldwide. The film is set to cross the 250 crore milestone by Tuesday, riding high on consistent audience support. With this performance, it’s aiming for the 300 crore mark, though it faces fresh competition with the arrival of Kanguva. If Amaran can sustain its pace, it could cement itself as one of the biggest hits of the year.

On the other hand, Lucky Bhaskar has had an impressive second weekend, particularly in the Malayalam and Tamil markets, where it has gained substantial traction. In the Telugu market, however, the film has seen a more moderate response. Despite this, Lucky Bhaskar is on track to reach the 100 crore mark, with its 11-day worldwide gross already touching 85 crore. This success has strengthened Dulquer Salmaan’s appeal across South India, showing his growing popularity in different regional markets.

Meanwhile, KA Movie has also enjoyed a solid second weekend, though at a more modest level compared to the other two releases. Its 11-day gross is estimated at 32 crore, indicating steady progress in its earnings. Overall, the South Indian box office is witnessing strong performances, with Amaran and Lucky Bhaskar leading the way. As Kanguva enters the scene, it will be interesting to see how these films fare in the coming weeks.

Varun Tej triggers Allu Arjun?

0

At the pre-release event for the highly anticipated film Matka, set to release worldwide on November 14th, Varun Tej expressed his gratitude to those who have been instrumental in the film’s journey. However, he also took a moment to make a personal statement that has sparked considerable discussion.

Slightly deviating from his speech about Matka,Varun Tej addressed his close family ties, stating, “If anyone asks why I always speak about my peda nanna (Chiranjeevi), my brother(Ram Charan), and babai (Pawan Kalyan ), it’s because it’s both my responsibility and my right. Regardless of one’s success, remembering where you started and the people who supported you is essential.

Success holds no meaning if you forget your roots.” His words have led many to speculate that he was subtly addressing Allu Arjun, who has recently chosen to focus on his immediate family, often referring to the “Allu Family” and “Allu Army” instead of the “Mega Family.”

This shift in Allu Arjun’s stance has been noted, especially as he speaks less frequently about his relationship with Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, prominent figures in the Mega Family.

Some feel this reflects a growing distance within the family, with Varun Tej’s comment potentially serving as a reminder of family unity and values. As Matka gears up for release, Varun Tej’s words add another layer of intrigue, leaving fans curious about the dynamics within the iconic Konidela-Allu family.
