Controversies are not leaving Actor Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh’s recent film Malli Pelli. It is very well known that the film was surrounded by many issues and Ramya Raghupathi, Naresh’s ex-wife had complained that the filmmakers showed her character in. bad light. Now today the film is streaming on OTT and once again Ramya came into the news.

According to the news, Ramya Raghupathi, Naresh’s ex-wife has approached the Kukatpally Family Court to block the release of the film, MalliPelli on both OTT platforms, Amazon Prime Video and Aha Video. Because of this court issue, prime is not streaming the film and it as available only on Aha Video.

Malli Pelli, the film seemed to have some similarities with Naresh, Pavitra and Ramya’s personal lives. But when asked about the same thing, Naresh announced that this movie had nothing to do with their lives and that it was a fictional take.

Malli Pelli, starring Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh, is directed by renowned producer-director MS Raju. The movie was released in theaters last month and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The movie is heavily inspired from the real life incidents of Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh.

The film also stars Jayasudha, Sarath Babu, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Ananya Nagella, Roshan, Ravi Varma, Annapoorna, Bhadram, Yukta, Praveen Yandamuri, and Madhoo. The movie is produced by Actor Naresh on Vijaya Krishna Movies banner, with music composed by Suresh Bobbili and Arul Dev.

Story: Manu (Shiva Kandukuri) is an academic genius, but he doesn’t stop falling in love with different girls and breaking up with them for silly reasons. He also takes a wrong turn in his life, becoming a rowdy by joining Rudra (Dolly Dhananjay) gang. Why does Manu behave like that? What is the importance Jenny (Megha Akash) in his life? Did he get back the love he wanted? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Analysis: The film starts on a regular note and meanders with aimless narration. The proceedings get a bit appealing, where the love track between Manu and Jenny has some good moments. The interval episode should have been more effective. The second half also starts on a better note and has a few good episodes and moments. Director Bharath Pedagani tried to make the movie as an emotional journey of its main character, Manu.

However, he could have made it more strongly. The characterization of Manu should have been written with more depth. His behavior appears silly in some scenes. Manu’s track with Rudra, Nandu and other characters did not work out as the friendship and loyalty elements were not registered well. The scenes between Manu and Jenny/Jaanu were good.

Performances: Shiva Kandukuri looked apt for the character of Manu, and his performance was very good. Megha Akash was good, while Pragathi Srivastav was very impressive. Suhas, Priya Vadlamani, Srikanth Iyengar, Dolly Dhananjay, and Madhu Nandan were appropriate.

Verdict: Overall, Manu Charitra could have been an emotionally immersive experience but it suffers from inadequate narration and misses the required emotional impact. Good Music, performance of Shiva Kandukuri, flashback in the first half, some good scenes in the second half work well for the movie. The movie can be watchable if one ignores the flaws in it.

It is very well known to everyone that Ram Pothineni and director Boyapati Srinu are collaborating for the first time with a mass action entertainer, tentatively titled Boyapati RAPO. Prabhas’s Adipurush which was released in theaters last week amidst huge expectations, turned out to be a disappointing outing at the box office. The film has witnessed a massive drop after the weekend in all territories. In Telugu states, the film has collected around 76 Crores share in its 1st week. The film’s theatricals for Telugu version worldwide are valued at 150 Crores. The worldwide Telugu version’s 1st week share of Adipurush is around 98 Crores.

In Hindi, the film has collected 121 Crores net in India, and the overall the film has collected in the range of 315 Crores gross worldwide including all languages. Mostly, Adipurush will finish its closing at the box office with this weekend. This is a very miserable result, which no one has expected.
