The name of ex-Bigg Boss contestant and actress Ashu Reddy is making it to the news since yesterday, because of her alleging involvement in the drugs’ case of producer KP Chowdary. Even the name of Senior actress Surekha Vani’s name was also involved in this case.

There were rumors that the Ashu Reddy was one of the customers mentioned in the producer-director’s drugs case. The actress, however, went on social media to clarify it that she is not involved in the case. She released a statement that reads, “To whomsoever concerned…Some sections of the media are talking all kinds of falsehoods with regard to my association with some people…I strongly condemn it and will let the relevant people know the truth of the matter if it comes to that. Openly posting my number will not be tolerated.”

KP Chowdary was recently arrested by Cyberabad police on drug trafficking charges in Hyderabad after allegedly procuring them from a Nigerian man in Goa. The producer and distributor had released the Telugu version of Rajinikanth’s Kabali and invested in a couple of movies before suffering losses and moving to Goa to open a club. The police issued a statement according to which few celebrities and his friends from Hyderabad had visited his club to take drugs.

Despite rumors, the police have not disclosed the names of the stars or celebrities who are involved in the case. The investigation is on and further details are awaited.

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming gangster drama King of Kotha is making the right noise through its interesting promotional content. The posters, teaser updates, and Dulquer’s look in the movie- all have boosted the anticipation. Adding to it, the film’s star cast has also surprised many as it includes a number of renowned actors and top-notch performers.

Apart from Dulquer, the film also stars Dancing Rose (Sarapatta Parambarai fame), Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod, Gokul Suresh, Shammi Thilakn, Shanthi Krishna, Vada Chennai Saran, and Anikha Surendran.

First setback for Mythri movies in distribution with Adipurush

Mythri Movie makers production house is one of the top most production houses in the Telugu film industry. After making successful films with star heroes, they entered into the field of distribution in the Nizam region. Nizam is one of the prominent areas for the Telugu film industry. However Mythri movies faced their first setback in distribution in the form of Adipurush.

Mythri movies had newly entered the nizam distribution, and they released their own movies Waltair veerayya and Veera simha Reddy during this year’s Sankranthi season. While Veera Simha Reddy was a decent success, Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya was a massive blockbuster at the box office.

So, the distribution debut of Mythri movies was a grand success and after that they did not buy any medium budget or big budget movies, and they released a few movies on a commission basis. As their third distribution venture, Mythri Movies got Adipurush in to their hands from Dil Raju and they ended up buying the film at the last minute in the Nizam area for 60 Crores in which 10 Crores amount was recoverable.

However, Adipurush disappointed everyone with its dismal performance at the box office and became the setback for Mythri movies in distribution. The film, Adipurush in Nizam has collected around 34 Crores share in the 1st week, and mostly it will end in the range of 37 Crores. Which means mythri will face a direct loss of around 13 Crores and as far as the break even is considered, the film should collect a share of 50 Crores in Nizam which is almost impossible now.

Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram prepones the release date

While Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is facing one hiccup after another and several shooting delays, the makers are standing firm on its release timing and confirming that the film will release for Sankranti 2024 at any cost. In fact, contrary to public belief, the makers are considering preponing the project release.

Guntur Kaaram is planned for January 13th release but there are reports of Prabhas’ Project K being out of the Sankranti release. So the makers are keen on Guntur Kaaram releasing a day earlier and hitting the screens on Jan 12th. Another Sankranti release will be Chiranjeevi- Kalyan Krishna’s film which is planned for Jan 13 Release next year.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between him and Superstar Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The project is being produced under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. There have been reports of Pooja Hegde walking out of the film while SS Thaman’s ouster has also been widely reported. The film also stars Sreeleela who will be sharing the screen with Mahesh for the first time.

Ram Charan and Upasana welcomed their first baby after being married for 11 years on June 20. Upasana got admitted to Apollo Hospital on June 19, during the evening, and delivered the baby at midnight. Today, after four days, the new mother and her daughter were discharged from the hospital and both Ram Charan and Upasana were spotted together for the first time with their newborn baby and the couple spoke to the media.

Ram Charan and his wife Upasana held their baby in their arms as they walked out of the hospital. They covered the baby’s face. The couple was accompanied by the mother of the actor Surekha as they made their way to Chiranjeevi’s home. Charan also spoke to the media regarding the health of his baby and his wife Upasana.
