Prabhas’s Adipurush which was released in theaters last week amidst huge expectations, turned out to be a disappointing outing at the box office. The film has witnessed a massive drop after the weekend in all territories. In Telugu states, the film has collected around 76 Crores share in its 1st week. The film’s theatricals for Telugu version worldwide are valued at 150 Crores. The worldwide Telugu version’s 1st week share of Adipurush is around 98 Crores.
In Hindi, the film has collected 121 Crores net in India, and the overall the film has collected in the range of 315 Crores gross worldwide including all languages. Mostly, Adipurush will finish its closing at the box office with this weekend. This is a very miserable result, which no one has expected.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram/Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki/Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan/Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman/Seshu and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman/Bajrang. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.

The film needed a consistent run at the box office to be in the safe zone, but sadly, Adipurush did not reach its target and became one of the biggest disasters in the Telugu film industry.
