Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti are all set to unite for the third time for a pan-Indian project. Premam, their last movie together, was a good hit at the box office. Karthikeya 2, the director’s last movie, was a massive success at the Pan India level. According to reports, the director is currently engaged in pre-production work for his next project with Chaitanya.

We can see a lively discussion between the trio in the picture. It is being reported that the official announcement from Geetha Arts regarding this prestigious pan-Indian project. It is also interesting to note that this is the 23Rd film in the career of Naga Chaitanya.

Recently, Bunny Vass had given a hint about the story of the film of Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti. He said that Chay will be seen in a role of a fisherman and the film will be made rural backdrop. This sneak peak kind of information from Bunny Vass had excited Akkineni fans.

Moreover, Allu Aravind, the renowned star producer, spoke recently about a film that will feature Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti’s superb combination. It is almost certain that the project will be officially announced soon.

For the first time, Superstar Rajinikanth and director Nelson have teamed up for an action entertainer called ‘Jailer’, which is being produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. It is very well known to everyone that Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music and the first two songs became Chart busters. 

The makers of released the film’s trailer this evening and by going the trailer, it looks like extraordinary and another Petta kind film for Rajinikanth. The trailer cut is getting positive response, especially it is a big boost for the Telugu version also as the movie was carrying low buzz until now and the extraordinary trailer cut worked very well for the buzz. The Telugu version’s theatrical trailer for the movie named as “Jailer Showcase” was launched by Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya.

The trailer is mainly focused on portraying Rajinikanth’s two distinct personalities: a typical retired family man and a furious man who never hesitates to act. Although the trailer introduces other main characters such as Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, etc., it emphasizes Rajinikanth’s role as the father of a police officer.

The dialogues are both simple and profound. They are designed to bring out the other side of Rajinikanth’s character. “You have only seen him as the father of a policeman” Jackie Shroff warns the other characters and reveals that he knows Rajinikanth’s other shade in the movie, which he refers to as his other face.

Vijay Kartik Kannan’s flawless camera work, and Anirudh Ravichander’s roaring score elevate every sequence featuring Rajinikanth. The film is edited by R.Nirmal.

Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh had started it’s shooting a few months ago and for a while, the process went faster than expected. The team had completed a few important schedules and looked to get the things as per plan but Pawan Kalyan’s political activities and other films’ schedules have delayed the work. UBS was rumored to be released during the Sankranthi season of 2024, but after the shooting got stalled the PSPK fans lost hopes on it.

However, the recent film of Pawan Kalyan, Bro The Avatar’s result seems to have changed the mindset of Power Star Pawan Kalyan, and now it is almost confirmed that he wants to release the film for Sankranthi and prove his stamina at the box office.

We know that the film, Bro, gathered very dismal collections for a star hero’s range and these numbers have now made Pawan Kalyan change his plan. Before Bro movie’s release, Pawan Kalyan was in plans to shelve or postpone the shooting of Ustaad Bhagat Singh for a longer time, so Harish Shankar planned a movie with Raviteja in this gap.

But now, as per the reports, Pawan Kalyan himself informed that he will join the movie’s shooting and told the team to make the required arrangements. It looks like Pawan Kalyan wants to release a full length commercial film as soon as possible and Ustaad Bhagat Singh is the right project for this in his lineup, which will definitely help him to show his stamina at the box office.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, the film also stars Sree Leela, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Avinash, and many others in important roles. It is obvious that Harish Shankar will be the writer and director of the film. The cinematography is by Ayananka Bose and the editing is by Chota K Prasad. Jana Sena chief and Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s latest movie, Bro was released on last Friday. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the banner of People Media Factory. Tamil actor and director Samuthirakani made this film. The film became the focal point of a large-scale political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier, water resources minister Ambati Rambabu’s dance during Sankranthi celebrations was parodied in the film, leading to a controversy. In one of the scenes in the movie, Bro, comedian Prithvi is seen dancing in imitation of Minister Ambati Rambabu and Pawan Kalyan is seen shouting at him.

Ambati Rambabu has already expressed his objection to this scene. He held a press conference and criticized Pawan Kalyan. He pointed out that Pawan Kalyan and the unit of the film will have to pay the appropriate price for this. Not only that, but he also said that he will make a film with Pawan Kalyan as the hero. Likewise, he said that the script is ready and suggested titles as well.

Mro, Thali – Egathali, Pelli Petaakulu, Babu Bharyala Praaveenyudu were the titles mentioned by Ambati Rambabu. He explained to reporters that such titles are under consideration. Ambati went on to warn popular director Trivikram who worked as the dialogue and screenplay writer, and producer TG Vishwa Prasad.

He did not stop it there. He is filing a complaint on Bro movie’s deal, its budget, the remuneration given to Pawan Kalyan and the collections after the release. Reportedly, a complaint will be lodged with the central investigating agencies on all such issues. He is expected to meet officials of the CBI, Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax department to lodge a complaint.

Ambati Rambabu will leave for the national capital, Delhi this evening. It is said that arrangements have already been made in this regard and an appointment has been fixed with the top officials of the respective investigating agencies. Ambati Rambabu, along with YSRCP MPs who are in Delhi due to the monsoon session of Parliament, is likely to meet the officials of the investigating agencies.

Ambati Rambabu had earlier alleged that producer TG Vishwa Prasad had collected the expenses incurred for the movie, Bro, from the NRIs of the Telugu Desam Party. He also alleged that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had given the entire amount to Pawan Kalyan in the form of a package.

Two latest films streaming on OTT for this weekend

As like every week, this week also the Telugu audiences are ready to watch new films and series which will be released on OTT. Two. Latest Telugu films will be available for streaming on OTT from this Friday, August 4. Naga Shaurya’s Rangabali and upcoming actor Thiruveer’s Pareshan are those two films. While Rangabali will be steaming on Netflix, Pareshan will be released on Sony LIV.

Rangabali, starring Naga Shaurya and Yukti Tareja in the lead roles, will start streaming on Netflix from this Friday, August 4. Pawan Basamsetti made his tollywood debut as a director with this movie, which is an action comedy entertainer set against the backdrop of Rangabali, a center in the town of Rajavaram.

The movie, which was released in theaters on July 7, failed to impress the audiences. Though the first half evoked laughs, the second half made the public in the theaters exhausted. The film unit had arranged paid premiers on the night before the release day, but the plan got backfired and the film received a disastrous response at the box office.

Starring Thiruveer and Pavani Karanam in the lead roles, Pareshaan is all set to hit the screens on August 4th through SonyLIV. Directed by Roopak Ronald son, the film is presented by Rana Daggubati, which explores the lifestyle of the youth of Singareni in an entertaining way. The film had a few decent reviews upon its theatrical release, but it was considered as a one-sided film and hence it did not reach more audiences.

Sanjay Dutt’s addition to Ram’s upcoming action entertainer Double Ismart has definitely added expectations on the film. The Bollywood actor has now chosen to turn towards southern industries for negative roles and has already appeared in biggies like KGF 2 and will soon be seen in Vijay’s Leo.

With Double Ismart joining the list of Sanjay Dutt’s villainous characters, there is some increased curiosity about this Puri Jagannadh project. Story: A stranger on a scooter throws acid on a young Parul Chaturvedi (Shweta Tripathi Sharma), the case comes to the Sirsi police station. Incidentally, the new recruit Ravi Shankar Tripathi (Vijay Varma) is assigned to find the culprit and solve the case with the help of constable Yadav (Yashpal Sharma). Will it be that easy for him to investigate the case? What problems did he face in this process? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Analysis: Sumit Saxena and Arunabh Kumar’s series, which draws its title from Hindu mythology, is full of undercurrent messages and perceptions. The poison that came out during ocean turmoil is known as Kaalkoot. The writers of the show also get involved in a lot of churning and curdling processes to address the social perversions we encounter. The writers probe multiple dark spots around us as the investigation progresses. There is a lot to consider, including revenge porn, homophobia, rampant female infanticide, and prejudices against a minority community.

What is the most beautiful part of this series is that the creators never try to over-stress any kind of emotions that the characters go through. The whodunit game around the culprit and the police investigation are portrayed as close to reality as they can. Which is why the final twist, being ordinary, does not disappoint.

The creators try to mix many threads in the series, which acts as a hindrance and gives a drag feel in between, but the performances and conversations keep the viewers captivated. The music is also beautiful and adds a lot of depth to the series.

Performances: Vijay Varma for a change, is the lead of the series, and he effortlessly showcases the vulnerability, strength, and humor of his character. Yashpal Sharma was natural as usual, while Seema Biswas was excellent in the mother’s role. Shweta Tripathi and Gopal Datt were good, and Suzanne Mukherjee is also competitive.

Verdict:

Overall, Kaalkot is a gripping crime drama that features splendid performances and a fairly honest writing style. The only drawbacks are the dragged parts in between and over expository moments.

Trivikram Srinivas is the director of Guntur Kaaram, which is his third collaboration with Superstar Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The project is being produced under the banner of Haarika and Hassine Creations and is scheduled to be released on January 13th.

Pooja Hegde’s walk out of the film and the news of S Thaman also leaving the film had already pushed the film off course. Pooja’s departure from the movie has opened the door for Meenakshi Choudhury. The female lead will be Sreeleela, who will be sharing the screen with Mahesh for the first time, while Meenakshi will take on the role that was originally written for Pooja.
