Sanjay Dutt’s addition to Ram’s upcoming action entertainer Double Ismart has definitely added expectations on the film. The Bollywood actor has now chosen to turn towards southern industries for negative roles and has already appeared in biggies like KGF 2 and will soon be seen in Vijay’s Leo.
With Double Ismart joining the list of Sanjay Dutt’s villainous characters, there is some increased curiosity about this Puri Jagannadh project. The Bollywood star reportedly has been offered a massive remuneration for this one. He has allotted 60 days of call sheets for this project in which he will be seen in a full length role. Interestingly, he has been offered a whopping Rs 15 crores for his part which makes it one of the costliest Bollywood acquisitions by Tollywood.
This will be a pan-India project as well and will mark Ram’s second one after Boyapati Srinu’s Skanda which is in the production stage. The heroine and the music director for the film, Double Ismart have not yet been locked and announced. Puri Connects is producing Double Ismart and the film is slated for 2024 Maha Shivaratri release. Released in 2019, Ismart Shankar ended up being an unexpected box-office success and Mani Sharma’s music played a key role in the film’s theatrical run.
