The shoot of Double Ismart, the sequel to the 2019’s blockbuster Ismart Shankar, was initiated by Energetic Star Ram Pothineni recently. Director Puri Jagannadh who had taken a long break after the Liger debacle, reportedly worked very hard on this film’s script. Mumbai is the location of the film’s major part of shoot, and Double Ismart is being touted as a pan-Indian film.
The project is being lavishly funded by the makers and according to the latest reports, Puri Jagannadh has been considered several Bollywood actors for an important role in the film, and finally, he has roped in and Sanjay Dutt to act in the film.
It is reported that Sanjay Dutt has given his official approval for the film. Sanjay Dutt is signing more and more South Indian films off late. He was seen as the antagonist in the pan-Indian massive blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, and he will also appear in the Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay’s, upcoming film, Leo. An official announcement will be made soon in this regard.
The heroine and the music director for the film, Double Ismart have not yet been locked and announced. Puri Connects is producing Double Ismart and the film is slated for 2024 Maha Shivaratri release.
