Manchu Manoj in plans to host a talk show

Many top stars from Tollywood who are busy with their acting career have entered the TV industry and hosted talk shows and reality shows. These shows are helping the star heroes to increase their fan following and popularity along with the additional income. Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, NTR and many other top tollywood heroes made their entry as hosts. Now, the inside reports strongly suggest that Hero Manchu Manoj is in plans to host a TV Show.

Hero Manchu Manoj seems to be following in the footsteps of the other top stars, and it is rumored that he will be hosting a talk show. The talk show, which is specially designed to attract the OTT viewers, will reportedly be streaming on the ETV Win App.

There are reports that the talk show will be produced by Tollywood’s top production house, People’s Media Factory. It is said that the official announcement about Manchu Manoj’s talk show is likely to be made soon. Manchu Manoj has been away from films for the last six years.

After the release of Okkadu Migiladu in 2017, he did not do films as a hero. Manchu Manoj recently announced a pan-Indian film titled What the Fish. Directed by Varun Korukonda, the movie is slated to hit the screens next year. Manchu Manoj is also the producer of the film.

Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the tunes for the film. On September 1, 2023, Kushi will be released in worldwide theaters in multiple languages.

The upcoming film also features Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy Masilamani in major roles. LGM Movie Review – A very exhausting film to sit through

Story: Meera (Ivana) and Gowtham (Harish Kalyan) are colleagues, and they also share a relationship for more than two years. When Gowtham eventually asks her to marry him, she willingly agrees, but on condition. Meera desires to spend a few days with Gowtham’s mother (Nadiya) to gain a more profound understanding of her so that she will not have any issues with her mother-in-law after their marriage. Will Gowtham agree to the strange proposal from Meera? How does his mother react to his request, as she does not like Meera at all? Will the couple be able to get married? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Analysis: First of all, LGM, the film had a good idea as its plot has the potential to connect with the youth and family audiences as well. However, good ideas do not transcend into well-made films. The same has happened with LGM. Not a single scene in the film was able to engage in the proceedings. The hero and heroine’s love track does not have any impact, while the humorous scenes between the hero and his colleagues were farcical.

The film becomes extremely monotonous due to the use of forced humor and artificiality in every situation. A simple bus ride from Hyderabad to Coorg is unnecessarily stretched to 30 minutes long, which tests one’s patience. The so-called comedy scenes of a diabetes patient during the bus journey were just present to fill the runtime. Even in the second half, the sequences that involve Nadiya and Ivana were bland. Also, towards the climax , the episode with a tiger made the experience more tedious.

Ramesh Tamilamani, the director who handled both screenplay and direction, was uncertain about how to present his thoughts on screen. The songs in the film, which were also composed by the director, are terrible. 

Performances: Although Harish Kalyan looked good as a youngster, his acting could not impress because of poor characterization. Ivana’s performance and beauty in ‘Love Today’ were impressive, but in this film she was unable to do much. Nadiya is somewhat decent in her role as the hero’s mother. Yogi Babu’s comedy is not engaging enough.

Verdict:

Overall,LGM,the film could have been an entertaining ride, but apart from a good storyline and a few good dialogues here and there, the film turns out to be a patience testing experience with dull characters and an unexciting narrative.

The movie has already completed its censor formalities with getting U/A certificate, and the censor certificate has been released now. The film has a duration of 159 minutes (2 hours and 39 minutes). If we look at the cuts of the film, they are pretty normal except for a one cuss word and violent shot being modified, and a little smoking/drugs shots being attached statutory warning.

According to the latest censor report, Bhola Shankar will be as entertaining like Waltair Veerayya. Elements like fun, action, and sentiment are reminiscent of vintage Chiru. Especially pawan kalyan’s mannerisms will make the audiences laugh out loud in the theaters.

If the censor report is true, then there will be no stopping for Bhola Shankar’s rage at the box office. Mega Fans, who are a bit letdown with the result of Bro, will hope to see Bhola Shankar get good talk. Let’s wish the team of Bhola Shankar all the best.

If a film becomes a flop, the settlements between the distributors and the producer are bound to happen. Either the producer gives the money back, or both will settle the amounts in the next film. However, every so often the producers may not be able to stand on their word. The same thing happened with the Producer of Akhil Akkineni’s Agent, and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar, Anil Sunkara. A distributor from Uttarandhra has approached the court against him.

It is a well-known fact that the film, Agent became a terrible disaster at the box office. All the distributors who had bought the film have suffered heavy losses. Anil Sunkara had promised some people that he will make up for the loss with Bhola Shankar’s business. In particular, ‘Agent’ was acquired by Gayatri Films and the distributor suffered severe losses. Anil Sunkara had promised to give the Vizag rights of Bhola Shankar to Gayatri Films.

Now, instead of retaining it, Bhola Shankar’s rights have been given to another distribution firm, Vigneshwara Films. Now a ruckus has begun because of this. Not only in the case of Vizag, but the same is the case with the overall Uttarandhra region. It is being reported that the distributor tried to reach the producer, but Anil Sunkara was not responding to the calls it seems. Now he approached the court on this, and we need to wait and see how this problem reaches a solution.

Sometimes in the industry, it is not even in the hands of the producer to decide to give a certain area’s rights to a particular person. The films have to be sold according to the oblation of the heroes also. Anil Sunkara is also said to have the same thing earlier to the distributors. Anil Sunkara needs to clear the Agent’s headaches first to avoid any problems before the release of Bhola Shankar.

On August 10, there will be two South Indian films with the title Jailer that will be released in theaters. Sakkir Madathil’s Malayalam film Jailer and Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated movie with the same title will clash at the box office. However, the clash of these two films was unforeseen and now the director of the Malayalam movie Sakkir Madathil is protesting against the Kerala exhibitors and Jailer release.

In an interview with the regional media house, filmmaker Sakkir Madathil revealed that he had invested at least Rs 5 Crore on the Jailer film and even gave his house as a mortgage. He mentioned that he needed to borrow his daughter’s jewelry for the project, but all his efforts went unsuccessful now.

In front of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC), Director Sakkir Madathil held a one-day protest to demand the allotment of theaters for his movie. He also demanded that Malayalam films should be rescued from high-budget films from other languages.

Sakkir stated that the Kerala’s exhibitors are not prepared to screen his movie and are instead promoting Rajinikanth’s film. “If this is the situation, how will the Malayalam industry survive when on the other side the theater owners are insisting on a 42-day window for OTT release?”

He said he does not have any issues with Tamil films getting released in Kerala. But it should not happen by blocking the plans of Malayalam films. “While I need at least 70–75 theaters to get good returns, it seems my film won’t even get 40 since many exhibitors, who earlier agreed to screen it, are now reluctant to do so.” Sakkir Madathil said.

Pawan Kalyan fans were so happy when the film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh was announced. The fact that the film’s director is Harish Shankar, who happens to be the hardcore fan of their favorite hero. Now the film is getting ready to be back on to the sets, and it is being reported that the unit is in plans for early summer release in 2024.

The film is expected to complete the shooting part by the month of January and if the planned schedule goes well, the movie is expected to released in the early summer of next year. OG, another film by Pawan Kalyan is expected to be released as per the initial plan in this year’s December.

Pawan Kalyan wants to complete his shooting part for both the movies by this year itself. While the film, OG does not need much of dates from him, and for Ustaad Bhagat Singh he needs to allocate at least 70 days to complete the shooting.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan, the film also stars Sree Leela, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Avinash, and many others in important roles. It is obvious that Harish Shankar will be the writer and director of the film. The cinematography is by Ayananka Bose and the editing is by Chota K Prasad. The music is by Devi Sri Prasad, which marks the return of the iconic trio of Pawan Kalyan-Harish Shankar-DSP.
