It is very well known to everyone that Icon Star Allu Arjun and maverick director Sukumar have collaborated again for Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The filming for Pushpa 2 is currently in progress at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The team has released a ferocious look of Fahadh Faasil, who will appear as the main antagonist of the film.
A poster was released by the Pushpa 2 team to convey their heartful wishes on Fahadh Faasil’s 41st birthday. Fahadh Faasil will continue in the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat from the first part, a tough police officer who is very much ready to seek his vengeance on Pushpa Raj. The poster portrays Fahadh Faasil smoking a cigar, showing a stylish and ferocious aura that is in line with his character.
Rashmika Mandanna will continue as Sree Valli, Allu Arjun’s romantic interest in the movie, while Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, Jagadeesh, and others also appear in their roles from the first part. Salman Khan is reportedly set to reunite with Karan Johar for a film after 25 years. According to reports, Salman has signed his next film with Tamil director Vishnu Vardhan, which will be produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions. If the project goes well, it will mark the reunion of the duo after Salman appeared in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).
It is said that the trio of Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan have been in talks about this massive action thriller for the past 6 months and everything has finally fallen into place. This would be Salman’s next feature film after Tiger 3. The film will go on to the sets in November 2023 and will be shot on multiple schedules over a 7 to 8-month period.
It is definitely to be seen as a bigger and special project, and the makers are extremely excited to take the film to the ground in November 2023. This would be Vishnu Vardhan’s second film in the Hindi Film Industry after SherShaah. He explained the disadvantages of releasing one song at a time, instead of releasing an entire album of a film at once. He mentioned that by releasing songs as singles, those songs are losing their importance and value. Mani Sharma stated that the songs will have more impact if they are released as a single album. Because one song will be liked by the audiences at first hearing, while some songs will take more number of listening to get the impression.

However, Chiranjeevi, in yesterday’s pre-release event, stated that he acted in ‘Bhola Shankar’ because he liked it, and he is sure that the audience will also enjoy it. Chiranjeevi said he was confused about the fact that many people are asking him why he has been doing remakes. “If there is a solid content and producers and actors take the opportunity to present it to the Telugu people, what is so wrong with that?” He said.
Chiranjeevi stated that unlike Lucifer, Vedhalam is not fully exposed because it is not available on any OTT platform. As a result, the producer informed Chiranjeevi that the movie would be more like a Telugu film. He also stated that Meher Ramesh developed a stylized version of Vedhalam. Finally, Chiranjeevi added that Meher has integrated all the elements that the public expects from his movie. But looking at the advance bookings, the mindset of audiences appears to be different.

‘Vennello Aadapilla’ was conceived to be shot in night time on a boat in a romantic manner. After I pitched the concept, Mani Sharma garu came up with a lilting tune within 15 minutes. It was the first tune to be finalized. Listening to it, I got goosebumps that day. I can’t think of any other tune and mood. It’s perfect,” Clax said, adding that the ‘Melody Brahma’ is the easiest composer to work with. “He believes that the composer’s work becomes swift if he understands what is in the director’s mind,” Clax said.
Mani Sharma believes in molding himself in the light of the director’s vision. “I did ‘Bedurulanka’ because I fell in love with the director’s vision, the situations he conceived, and the mood he tried to create. Some themes in ‘Bedurulanka’ are some of the best in my career. Each of the 7-8 characters has got an entirely different score/theme. I enjoyed doing this film every bit,” the ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Kushi’ sensation said, adding that the film is different in terms of the story and drama. The makers are planning to release the themes on YouTube for the benefit of music lovers and the film’s audience.
‘Dongode Doragadu’ adds to the versatility of the album. “There is another song that comes in the climax. Director was adamant to have multiple variations. Doing this film was a learning experience since the characters are varied and the associated emotions are many. I also used silences to the maximum effect,” Mani Sharma said.
Clax is in admiration of Mani Sharma’s dedication levels. “Despite being an established name, he worked as though this was his debut. I had visualized the film as an entertainer. But his music brought a new interpretation to the table. The interval block gives a high. The perspective from which the composer saw the story was different. He enhanced the story and took it to the next level,” Clax said, raising a toast to the iconic composer. One of the songs is written by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.
Mani Sharma has a rare track record of introducing fresh voices to the Telugu audience. Udit Narayan, Hari Haran, Sukhwinder Singh, and Shreya Ghoshal, among others, enlivened his music decades ago. For ‘Bedurulanka’, the composer roped in a fresh female voice for ‘Vennello Aadapilla’ (Harika Narayan).

Santhanam’s latest Tamil horror comedy DD Returns, also known as Dhilluku Dhuddu 3, has become a blockbuster at the box office with posting sensational numbers. On its second weekend, the Santhanam-led comedy horror gathered about Rs 9 crores, with around 25 percent drop from its opening weekend. As a result, the film’s total of ten days is to Rs 30 crores at the domestic box office, with the majority of income coming from Tamil Nadu State.
Santhanam has a tradition of doing this kind of films very often, but he managed to take a back seat and let his talented cast carry the movie forward, which was liked by the audiences and the critics as well.
