The wedding of Sri Harsha, the son of Nandamuri Suhasini, in Hyderabad last week was a grand occasion for the Nandamuri family. The grandson of Nandamuri Harikrishna, Sri Harsha, got engaged in March of earlier this year. The wedding was attended by a host of famous people from television, movies, and politics. The picture of Nandamuri brothers- Kalyan Ram, Jr NTR and Mokshagna brought great joy to the fans. The picture went viral on social media much to the happiness of the fans.

Former AP CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna, TRS minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishna Raju along with other political bigweights and movie stars were present at the wedding.

Now, another picture from the wedding has surfaced featuring Jr NTR and Mokshagna hugging each other. This is now trending on the internet and Nandamuri fans are very happy as they always wanted Balakrishna-NTR to maintain good rapport and trash the reports of animosity between them. This picture gives them big smiles on their faces. With Mokshagna set to make his Tollywood debut soon, and this picture surfacing on the internet, Nandamuri fans are on cloud nine.

King Of Kotha Movie Review – A lengthy Gangster drama with a few high moments

Story: Raju (Dulquer Salman) and Kannan (Shabeer Kallarakkal) are close friends, and they rule over the land of Kotha. During their gang wars, What are their differences, and how do they eventually separate? What is the connection of Police Officer Shahul Hassan (Prasanna Kumar) with both of them? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Analysis:

The film is a gangster drama that incorporates some emotional and thrilling elements. The director and team’s effort can be seen in the period setting and detailing in the background. The starting moments open with a few mixed details of past and present, and after that, the narrative moves to the flashback. In terms of story, there may be nothing new in the film and the narrative completely misses the grip/speed which the genre needs.

However, the slick taking and execution keep the audience’s interested in the proceedings. As said above, the workmanship is visible from the beginning. The local backdrop, period setting and visuals were impressive. All The actors were perfect in their characters. The moments before the intermission raise the anticipation for the latter half, and it also starts with a bang. After that, the film again goes on the slow path with a few good moments along with an alright climax which is a bit overstretched.

Performances: Dulquer Salmaan was effective in the title role, and he did what he was expected to do. Dancing Rose aka Shabeer Kallarakkal was fantastic as the antagonist. Aishwarya Lekshmi made her presence felt though she had a little scope, while Prasanna, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod, Gokul Suresh, Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Vada Chennai Saran, and Anikha Surendran were apt.

Verdict:

Overall, King Of Kotha is a gangster drama that is predictable and ordinary, with a few high moments. However, the performances and technical work, can satisfy you if you choose to ignore the dull pace and lag in the narration.

Skanda’s Pre release thunder on 26th August

Blockbuster filmmaker Boyapati Srinu has mastered the art of pleasing family audiences with mass action entertainers. Though he is a specialist in making commercial entertainers, he makes certain there is an adequate entertainment and family drama in his movies. He teams up with energetic and mass hero Ustaad Ram Pothineni for Skanda. RaPo is known for his high-octane energy and Uber style. He underwent an unbelievable mass transformation for his Skanda which became the talking point of many.

RaPo is seen in different shades. He excelled in both the looks of ultra mass as well as class. RaPo proved he is the best of both the worlds in these mass and class posters. In beefed up look and muscled body, RaPo nailed it completely. This combo and the content indicate that Skanda appeals to masses and family audiences in equal proportion.

Meanwhile, the makers came up with an update. The film’s pre-release thunder will be out on August 26th. Ram and Sreeleela share a sparkling chemistry in the poster. While Ram appears in a Panche Kattu, Sree Leela looks homely in a half saree. They are seen flashing beautiful smiles, as they enjoy the beauty of nature while sitting on farms.

S Thaman scored the music for the movie, and the first two songs became sensational hits. The first thunder followed by the title glimpse received a thumping response. The pre-release thunder is also expected to set the bar high.

Santosh Detake cranks the camera for the film produced in a prestigious manner by Srinivasaa Chitturi on a massive budget with high production values and top-notch technical standards under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. It is presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar. Editing is handled by Tammiraju.

Skanda is getting ready for release worldwide on September 15th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

Telugu film industry is a pretty volatile place. One hit can change the fortunes of the actors and bring them unprecedented fame and offers. We’ve seen so in the case of actresses like Sreeleela and Krithi Shetty who made debuts in 2021 and saw a string of films in the next year. The same unfortunately hasn’t happened for Vaishnavi Chaitanya.

Krithi Shetty, post Uppena was seen in Shyam Singha Roy, The Warrior, Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, Macherla Niyojakavargam, Custody, and Bangarraju in a matter of a year and a half. Sreeleela on the other hand is still soaring high with a bunch of Tollywood biggies under her belt at the moment. After Pelli Sandadi, she was seen in Dhamaka and will be next seen in Guntur Kaaram, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Skanda, Bhagvanth Kesari, and films with Vijay Deverakonda, Vaishnav Tej, and Nithiin.

While her contemporaries are signing film after film, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who scored a massive blockbuster with Baby hasn’t seen similar success in the project lineup. Even small or medium-budget offers have not come her way yet. Vaishnavi was just perfect with dance, emotions, expressions, and even comic timing perfectly in Baby. But, it appears that the luck is not on her side yet.

Salaar breaks Jawan USA pre-sales in Just two days

Shah Rukh Khan is ready to dominate the box office once again after causing a sensation with his comeback film, Pathaan in this year’s January. The King Khan is now ready to present his upcoming film Jawan, which will be released on September 9th. In the same month, Prabhas’s Salaar, the action film made by Prashanth Neel will be released.

Although both biggies are releasing in September, there is a sufficient gap between them, and they won’t be damaging each other’s box office. The trend of Salaar is mind-blowing with more than one month time for the release and it registering close to 200K pre-sales is just unbelievable and speaks about the hype of the film in the audiences.

As said above, both the fandoms of Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas are already having heated confrontations on the box office prospects and this pre-sales record by Salaar will make it much more intensifying.

King of Kotha is off to a sensational start in Malayalam markets with record bookings from the premiers. Bedurulanka 2012 premiers audience talk – Report and Reviews

Kartikeya Gummadikonda’s Bedurulanka 2012 is getting released on August 25th in worldwide theaters. But with the confidence in their films’ content, the team has screened premiers on yesterday and even planned a few shows today as well. Their strategy seems to have worked, as the Premiers of the film opened with good talk.

Directed by debutante director Clax, Bedurulanka 2012 is receiving Decent – Good reports from the audiences. The 1st half is carrying a bit of mixed reports, but the 2nd half has got unanimous positive report from the audiences’ especially the last 40 minutes are said to be very hilarious, and it looks like finally a hit film for Kartikeya.

Renowned musician Mani Sharma has scored the music for Bedurulanka and during the promotions of the film stated that his songs and background score for the film were his best work. The background score was also getting appreciated. The dramedy also has Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Ajay Ghosh, Srikanth Aiyengar, Goparaju Ramana, Vennela Kishore (he is a news presenter along with ‘Getup’ Srinu) and LB Sriram in important roles.

Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni, who has previously made the National Award-winning ‘Color Photo’, is the producer of this film, which is presented by C Yuvaraju.
