Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming gangster drama King of Kotha has made a good impression with its interesting promotional content. The anticipation has been boosted by the posters, trailer, and Dulquer’s getup in the movie. King Of Kotha also has a good craze in the trade, and now it eyes on the all-time record opening number as it registering record advance bookings.
The movie has created an immense buzz in Mollywood circles and in Kerala, the film has got advance bookings around 3Cr which is an all-time record for any film in Kerala. The previous best was KGF 2: 2.9Cr. With one day to go to release the film, King Of Kotha is expected to pick a big momentum in the advance bookings tonight and is all set for a record opening in Kerala.
Even in the other languages also the film is expected to open with decent numbers as the film’s lead, Dulquer Salmaan has a good image in other languages. So if the word of mouth comes good from early shows, King Of Kotha can get good numbers in Telugu and Tamil as well.
Apart from Dulquer, the film also stars Dancing Rose (Sarpatta Parambarai fame), Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod, Gokul Suresh, Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Vada Chennai Saran, and Anikha Surendran.
Wayfarer Films and ZEE Studios have collaborated to produce this film, which has been directed by Abhilash Joshiy. The film is slated to be released on August 24, 2023.
